Chapter fifteen The Queen's lost sister
Far away in the kingdom of Narva, the Queen was trying to find her sister.
"I wonder where she is, we have to find her."
"Queen Emerald no one knows her whereabouts."
The queen had been trying to find her sister since the day she found out about her. She remembered the day her personal maid told her that she had a sister.
"My lady, there is something I wanted to tell you."
"What?"
"I promised the late queen that I will never tell you but your sister is in trouble."
Queen Emerald didn't understand what the maid was saying.
"My sister? what do you mean?" she asked confused.
"You have an elder sister, my lady."
"How did you know?"
"I was your mother's personal maid, I knew everything about her, you were separated from your sister the day you were born."
"Why?"
"I cannot tell you about that."
She couldn't digest the fact that she had a sister, she believed the maid because she was her mother's personal servant and she took care of her when she was a child. There was no reason for the maid to lie to her.
"Where is she?"
"I do not know my lady."
She won't give up she would make sure to find her sister.
"My lady, your sister is in danger, they are trying to kill her."
She had to do something.
"I will find her myself," Emerald said.
"How will you find her?" the maid asked.
"Clara, please tell me everything you know about my past."
"I am sorry your highness but I can't, I made a promise to your mother," she said."
"How will I find her? just tell me something about her, where does she live?"
"Her name is Crystal, she is very beautiful and pure, her eyes are as bright as diamonds and her hair is as bright as the sun. She was captured and she is forced to live in Sweden."
"How will I know who she is?"
"When you walk pass her your necklace will glow. Make sure you never take off your necklace," the maid said.
Queen Emerald was told that her necklace will protect her from all evil, and she should never take it off.
"I will go tomorrow morning," she said, "get everything ready."
The maid bowed her head and left immediately.
She wondered what the maid was hiding away from her, she had to find out about her past but first she had to find her sister.
Back in Damien's castle, Crystal was in her chamber, she sat quietly on the bed.
I felt someone in the room, I knew it was not Damien.
"Who is there?"
A woman appeared. She wore a beautiful blue dress, she had silver eyes, and long blonde hair. She looked exactly like me.
"Who are you?"
A tear rolled down her face, "Crystal, I am sorry, I had no other choice. I hope you find a place in your heart to forgive me," the woman said and disappeared.
Who was that woman? There was something about that woman, I couldn't point out what it was.
Damien appeared in the room. He was back again.
"We are going out," he looked happy.
"I don't want to go anywhere."
He smiled, "Are you still upset, forget about what happened."
I glared at him and the smile on his face widened. He enjoyed when she glared at him.
"I have surprise for you."
"Leave me alone!"
I turned to look at him, he was still smiling and I wanted to slap him.
He chuckled, "What are you waiting for? do it."
I had never met someone who is so annoying.
"I have never met someone as stubborn as you before," he smirked.
"I am not annoying," I threw a pillow at him and he caught it.
"Yes you are."
I threw another pillow at him, he doged it, "I will kill you today!" I got up from the bed and kicked him in the groin.
"Ouch!!"
"That's what you get for calling me stubborn," I smiled.
Damien was happy, this was what he wanted, to see her smile.
"Are you okay now or do you still want to kill me."
"If you ever call me stubborn, I will make sure to kill you."
"Okay I won't do it again."
"What about the surprise?" I asked.
"What surprise?"
I was about to kick him again before he apologized
"I am sorry, I was just playing."
"You are crazy."
He smiled and said, "I want show you something."
"What?"
"It's a surprise," he said and we disappeared.
