Chapter 43: Battle God Cheng.

Immediately after Tian stepped into the portal, he appeared on a battlefield that spanned endlessly. He couldn't see the end of this battlefield, but above this battlefield there was a huge formation that also spanned endlessly.

the scene before him was both terrifying and awe-inspiring. There was a sense of chaos and destruction all around, as if the very fabric of reality was being torn apart.

suddenly, a figure appeared before him, the figure has an imposing physical presence that commands respect and awe. He is muscular and broad-shouldered, with a chiseled and handsome face.

He has long dark hair that falls in loose waves around his shoulders, and piercing dark eyes that seem to hold an intensity and depth of knowledge and he was wearing a red battle armor.

however he also appeared in a spiritual form, like the previous two people Tian came across on the first and second floor.

Cheng's voice boomed across the battlefield, filling the air with his commanding presence. He spoke to Tian, " it must have been a very tough journey for you right ?"

"humph, of course it is, and it is caused by you people, have always desire a peaceful life, but now….." Tian snort, before he replied in a deteriorating tone.

" silly…. Who said you can't live a peaceful life you desire ?" Cheng questioned him again.

" Tell me how can i live a peaceful when everywhere i go people are always trying to suppress me or take my life? Even Heaven itself has cursed me". Tian replied with his dejected tone.

" Still wrong, very wrong, if everybody is against your life, why don't you kill them all till they become afraid of you, if the heaven is against your life why don't you destroy the heaven and build a world in which you can live peacefully….. moreover being selfish a little bit is not a bad thing". Cheng said out loud and his echo throughout the battlefield.

Hearing this, Tian was lost in thought: "True, true.. to survive in any world, one has to be selfish; you can't be too kind nor too unkind; it's like the yin and yang. For example, in my previous world, everyone was a mortal true, but who doesn't have a selfish desire?" The lion pursues the antelope not because it's prey but rather because he needs to survive by eating the antelope; the weak struggle to survive while the strong tremble on them; even the poor are selfish, not to talk of the rich, so true to survive being selfish is fine." Tian was thinking out loud.

Hearing Tian, Cheng smiled gently before he said, "Alright, you don't have to think about it too much, as you can figure it out slowly in the future, but remember, if you want to survive in this world, you need to fight. Battle till your name becomes a fear to every soul".

Tian looked straight into the Battle God's eyes upon hearing his world, and all he could see was battle, war, fighting, and killing. Then he thought to himself, "What a battle freak, but I like it; he is not like that Asura God who lacks emotions, and all he knows is slaughtering and massacring," he thought in his mind. But then he became confused again, and he couldn't help but ask.

" After battling and killing everyone enough that my name becomes a form of fear to every soul, then what next?" He asked.

Cheng smiled before he replied, "That for you to decide, but remember there is no blocked road; either you are on the wrong path or you lost yourself on the path".

Hearing this Tian could understand the basic meaning of it but the true meaning was not something Tian can comprehend for now.

Cheng saw the confused expression on Tian's face and said "Like I said, you don't have to worry much about it since everything will come to you in time. Anyway, since my time is almost up, I will be presenting you with three things", Cheng continued. "The first will be this battled field; this battlefield was my domain during my lifetime, you can comprehend It's meaning slowly, but its function was to help you train for true battle. You can decide how many figures you want to face: thousands, millions, billions, trillions. It's all up to you as long as you will it, figures will appear, and you can fight to your heart's content; moreover, you can decide their level of cultivation as you desire".

"The second is the battle God heart; this is my heart, which contains my Dao and life journey. You can merge with it and comprehend its meaning whenever you want. As for the third, show me your spear". Cheng said, and immediately Tian's spear appeared in his hand, "In battle, all weapons can be used". Immediately, a golden seed entered the spear.

The spear trembled continuously; suddenly, a dragon manifestation appeared above the spear, and the spear was covered in a dark-golden cocoon, undergoing a new evolution.

"Take your time, to learn slowly, once your spear finish its evolution you will understand better," Battle God Cheng said, turning his eyes back to Tian. "Although you comprehend the spear way, your talent is way too much for just one weapon way." He spoke to Tian one more time before his body began to steadily deteriorate."Remember to maintain a firm heart." On the battlefield at that point, only Tian remained.

Tian was motionless for a long time, because everything happen too fast, moreover he still have a lot of questions to ask.

"Sigh." Tian shook his head slowly before looking ahead of him. The spear cover in the cocoon was on one side, while a golden heart was on another side. Moreover, every beat of this heart echoed through the endless battlefield; it's like the battlefield was resonating with the heart.

Tian was tempted to absorb the heart right away, but he knew absorbing the heart would take a long time, and he had a lot of situations to deal with, so he decided to come back and absorb the heart after he sorted out the situation outside.

He looked at the battlefield one last time before walking out of it. He spent the rest of the days relaxing and meditating, and when it was time for his crowning ceremony, he left his soul world and appeared in the courtyard given to him by the empire.

In the throne room, Tian was standing in front of Lord Su, who was sitting on his throne. The Empire elders, core members, supreme elders, ministers, and the three evil children were also standing in front of the throne.

Everybody in the hall is powerful, and Tian felt like he was the weakest in the hall. Although his post might be above some people here, he really is the weakest when it comes to power.

Lord Su stood up and walked toward Tian with a black crown in his hands. This crown was made of star metal; it was black, but the star's sparkling around it could not be ignored. Tian could feel the aura emitted by this crown, and he knew this weapon was above the soul weapon.

In the Divine world, treasure are classified differently, the weapon grades are soul treasures, celestial treasures, heavenly treasures, transcended treasure.

Although Tian could feel the weapon is stronger that soul weapon, he couldn't determine which grade it is.

Lord Su announced Tian's post to everyone in the hall before he placed the crown on his head, and immediately Tian felt a soothing energy entering his soul. He finally realized that this crown is not just for fashion; it is also a useful weapon that can protect the soul and nourish the soul.

After the crowning, everybody offered Tian all sorts of treasures, but Tian was not moved to by them since he basically had everything within him. But suddenly Tian felt two unfriendly gazes on him. He quickly followed his instincts to check who these gazes belonged to, and he found out that they belonged to the two oldest evil children in the Empire.

He noticed two young men standing beside each other: one was dressed in a red robe, and he has red hair and red eyes. He looks terrifying; his name is Evil Child Guo, and he is the strongest genius among the younger generations; while the second one was dressed in black with red patterns around his cloth; he has black hair and blue eyes; his name is Evil Child Tie.

Tian ignores them because he has read about the two of them as evil child. Guo is a very arrogant type of person; he always wants everyone to be submissive to him, and if they don't, they become his enemies, and Tian hates people who act arrogant in front of him the most. As for the evil child Tie, he was known for his brutality, and he is very cunning in nature.
