'Where am I...?'

Everywhere he turned, everywhere he went, it was but an eclipse darkness covering his line of vision. As far as he could see, there was nothing but an empty space, a deafening silence coloring the world around him. He tried to walk, taking one step after another, but it was as if he was going on circle instead of forward.

Within this petrifying fog of darkness, he wandered endlessly, back and forth bearing no fruit to the never-ending journey. He didn't know for how long he had walked. However, he was sure that time had gone more than a couple of hours because his feet couldn't seem to take another step.
