Hiroto-oniisan turned to me and the corner of his lips curled up eerily. I got goosebumps right off the bat upon his crafty eyes. Usually, when Oniisan had this look, it meant that somebody was about to be badly ripped off.

He raised his index finger. "One, you get to truly be my sister. Doesn't that sound amazing?"

Me, "...."

I stared at him intently, seemingly trying to process his words. But soon, a scowl appeared on my face. So, the person that was about to be ripped off was me?!

"You're not very happy."

"Because I think the meaning of being your sister is you getting to keep an eye on me." I shot him an annoyed glare.

Here I thought I could finally be free and lived as an adult. Back when I had been Airi and was just a normal high school girl, I had always wanted to try living alone. I wanted to know what it felt like and turned out it was great!
