Chapter 1: Starling Academy, the school full of Secrets

Starling Academy, just like any ordinary school, its full of happy and cheerful students. But there are some things that makes this school different from the other schools, which is its secrets and all of the dirty things happened within its wall. Some even say that this school was used by the murderers to hide to and cover up the dead bodies of students who unfortunate become part of an unsolved school murder mystery.

Hi my name is Ivory Thornhill, I've been in so many old schools with secrets, but never in a school that is haunted and had a dark past. The moment I've stepped foot in this school, I know that something will happen and change my life forever.

Day 1: everything seems normal until I started to feel a burning sensation behind my back like I was being watch in the dark corners of the hallways, to hearing sounds I'm not suppose to hear and to something more unexplainable. This went on from days, days turn to weeks, and weeks turned to months until one day. I woke up feeling nauseous so I went to the bathroom to clean my face thinking that it might help me feel better. But I was wrong because after washing my face I looked in the mirror and saw…. A girl staring right at me and I looked back but didn't see anyone. This send goosebumps all over my body, of course being scared I walked out of my dorm room without making a sound… but she kept following me wherever I go. Until I can take it anymore and yelled!! Stop following me!! Then she appeared in front of me and said.

"I know you can see me and I know that you're the only person who can help me"

I asked "about what?"

She replied with "You'll see" before fading away.

After that incident, I started to see things others cannot, and have the ability to see visions from the past and from the future. Since that day my life completely change and its was never been the same ever again.

I don't know when exactly happened but as far as I can remember is the girl talked to me and asked me to follow her, so I followed her and she led me to a library and she said.

"go to isle 5 and you'll see you first clue"

fading away after finishing her sentence. And there I was walking, passed 4 different isles upon arriving at isle 5 I wondered what kind of clue I need to find as part of this mystery. As I was searching for a clue, in the corner of my eye I saw a tall shadow staring at me, the shadow were about like 7 feet tall, it was skinny and have sharp nails.

After noticing this I quickly looked for the clue without making any sudden movement, I was so desperate to get out of there. But I noticed something unusual on the shelves it's a small box so I picked it up and rush out of the library.

After some time later, I took out the thing from my bag just to see that its just a deck of cards. Not just any normal playing cards, the cards have numbers in it small ones on the top and big ones in the center. I was confused at first, until I touched one of the cards and the I had a vision. A vision from the past dated back exactly October 13, 1990 which is 2 months earlier and snapped back to reality. After snapping back I wondered why did the card gave me a vision? I looked at the card and examine each one and I saw that some of the cards have blood stains and it hit me!!. That was the exact time that she appeared in my mirror!. And I asked myself was she murdered that exact day?. No it cant be.

After that, the girl didn't show up for 3 days, the out of nowhere she woke me up at 3 am and she said that there is something I need to see. Reluctantly I got up from my bed and followed her, surprisingly she led me school basement which is off limits for students to come in. And she told me to look behind old paintings.

I asked her how did she know everything about this but didn't know who killed her. And she replied

"I've been following him for these past days but couldn't see his face"

She paused and continued "Because every time I got too close, I'll got pulled into an endless black void and I randomly reappear in random places, thats why I dont know anything about the guy who killed me".

And so, I descended down to the basement, and look for some old paintings. After some time of searching, I found 4 old painting hanging on the walls, I ran close to the paintings and check each one by one but all of the were empty. I was about to leave due to disappointment until, I took a closer look from where the paintings were hanging. I notice that there were letters carved to the wall it says month, day, and year. I got confused for a hot second until I remembered the deck of cards I found in the library and the vision I had, without hesitating I quickly rushed back to my dorm room, took the card from my desk and ran back to the basement and to the paintings. I slowly put the card in order based on my vision: October 13 1990 then the code must be 9, 13, 19, 90. After putting up the code a hidden door opened up I took a peek inside and what I saw made my heart drop.
