Chapter 2: A Step Closer

There were weapons like knife, rope and shovel, all covered in blood. Luckily I have a pair of surgical gloves to avoid leaving my own fingerprints, so I secretly took everything back to my room and tried to look for finger prints but I was very tired and couldn't keep my eyes open so I decided to go back to sleep and continue after school

The next day, I woke up to get ready for class, as I was walking in the hallways I can see lost dark spirits roaming around this startled me a bit and I said to myself

"its just an another normal day" and rushed to my first class.

After finishing my first, I continue my day doing regular things with my friends and finally after a long day I ran back to my dorm room just to collects some fingerprints. and after some time of dusting & dusting and finally! I found a total of 5 fingerprints. And I spaced out, wondering who's fingerprints are these

And then I realized that every student in this school has a record including their fingerprints lucky its friday, that night I thought of a plan of sneaking in the school office full of records.

My plan succeeded!! But there's only one problem, I don't know where to look for the suspect's records. Luckily this school have a computer with a fingerprint scanner. I was surprised of how advance this machine is, anyways I inserted the fingerprints that I found into the fingerprint scanner and waited.

After scanning a photo of a man showed up on the screen. His Bruce Thorn and said locker 218. "218 that must be where his records are hidden" I said to myself, and went deeper into the office. After some time of searching, I kept on hearing whispers in the dark like they were calling out to me, I ignored it and kept on going. As I went deeper and deeper the whispers became more clear and understandable and suddenly... they became deeper and louder until it sait it in a demonic voice

"GET OUT!!"

I looked back and saw 5 tall figures were standing behind me amd repeating the same words "GET OUT!!" I got up ran to look for the locker 218, my heart was pounding so fast that I think I was going to die.

Finally I saw the locker with the number 218 without any hesitation, I dashed towards the locker at full speed, opened it and toom the records inside. Now the problem is to get out safely. I prayed and prepare myself for what is going to happen. I ran as fast as I can, taking turn to avoid their big dark hands and finally I got out of there, heart still pounding like crazy.

After that horrible experience, I went back to my dorm and fell asleep on my bed due to extreme exhaustion, the next morning was saturday so I stayed in my room feeling down, out of the blue I started crying, suddenly she appeared next to me and asked

"why are you crying?"

I was so traumatized by that event that I snapped and said

"Its because of you"

she was shock and replied "what are you talking about?"

I talked back " because of you I almost died in fear just to solve this case and you weren't there to help me" still crying.

And she said was "I'm sorry, I promise that I will never bother you again once you finished my case"

And she fade away. After that argument I gather myself and convinced myself I can do this, after all I have all the evidences and my next move is to expose him. Now you might be wondering how can I expose him without enough evidences? Remember the record? Yes I will use his record to finish this case and I all I have to do is to prepare a plan.

Because this mystery will closed at exact november 24 right before Christmas night after planning out. I asked the security guard if they have CCTV's around here and He said "yes" and I asked can I take a look on some footage around October 13 1990, Luckily the guard allowed me to take a look at teh footage and save it using a USB. And now I just have to wait until December 25.

The day has come and asked the girl where ahe was murdered and she said "Room 131 in the closet" and I said "this will be the day that you will have justice.

The party already started and I said to myself "let the exposing begin" with that I went up to the stage and said

" Good afternoon everyone today I'll make an announcement for you today"

All of the guesses where shocked and I continued.

"there has been a crime that have done without the teachers knowing that it happend"

All of them are still shocked and I continued

"A murder crime"

All of them gasped and I said

"And I' m here to expose the person who killed the girl named Sally"

And showed them the evidences, explained each, and showed them the footage of the day that the murder was commited and said. 3..2..1.

The door went BANG!! and police came barging in and I said

"Bruce Thorns you are under arrest for murder"

And they arrested him shortly. After they arrested him I showed the police team the dead body of Sally and they took matters in their hands

And I called out to her "Sally" she appeared and said

"thank you for giving me justice and now my soul shall rest and so shall you,

Then she faded away and that was the last time I ever saw her.

And since that day everybody knows me as Detective Ivory and got awarded as the student of the year.

Case Closed.
