2: Fights

I start the shower, and get ready for the pain. I step in, and clench my jaw. The burns on my back burn worse. If the fire never happened....I would be fine. I open my eyes, and slowly move my burning limbs to get my shampoo. Images of my mom flash behind my eyelids, and the water stops. Not again. I tap the shower head and get sprayed in the face. I cough, and grab a towel, shutting the water back off. First day of school after the incident. Let's do this.

"Tay!"

I spin around, my hair whipping the air. It's Jack. I smile, and start to jog.

"What's up, Jack?" I ask, hugging him. He smiles, his eyes blue eyes, bright.

"Obviously not you." He laughs, looking down at me. I smack him hard, feeling sparks in my fingertips when I do. He flinches.

"Shut up." I hiss. He laughs, as Drake walks up. My boyfriend. He looks guilty. Jacks jaw clenches. He's so tense. I look between the two.

"Hey Tay." Drake smiles. I cross my arms. That smile is fake.

"What's going on? Why is jack suddenly so tense, and you look guilty as hell." I explain. Drake sighs, and runs a hand through his hair.

"Nothing!" He smiles.

"That's a lie, and you know it." Jack growls, slowly turning to Drake. "Tell her." He demands. I blink. Drake sighs and answers his ringing phone.

"Hey, baby, what's up?" He asks. I look at my phone. It's off. I cover my mouth.

"I'm gone for three weeks and you cheat on me?!" I demand. Drake reaches to me, but I pull away. I run down the school halls, passing by rows and rows of lockers.

"Tayler! Tay!" Jack shouts. I stop and turn to him, tears soaking my cheeks. Jack catches up and hugs me. I cry into his shoulder while he smooths my hair.

"I knew this would happen!" I sob. I start wheezing. I pull out my inhaler and shake it. I fumble with it and drop it. Then I panic more.

Jack picks up my inhaler, and puts it to my lips. I breath in, and calm down. I sit down, head in my hands.

"Hey!" I raise my head. Drake and Jack glare at each other. I stand up, and Jack points to Drake.

"You need to leave." He demands.

"She's my girlfriend." Drake spits. I stand between them.

"Correction. I WAS your girlfriend. Now I'm not your anything." I smirk. Drake looks hurt.

"Don't do this." He says.

"You cheat on her. She can do anything she wants." Jack mumbles. Drake shoves me aside, and lunges at Jack. Instinctively, I grab Drakes shoulder and pull him off Jack, a sizzling sound hissing in my ears. Drake screams as the teachers run towards us.
