With me gaining two ranks instantly, an unprecedented rise, I am able to have access to Steel Rank Items that can be purchased in the Adventurer Mall. The Guildmaster has warned me so many times, that with two sudden rank rise, I will deal on my own the backlash from other Adventurers.

I assured him that its no skin off my back, anyone who comes at me will deal with my "Fists of Deth".

I may not have hunted the Hobgoblin King but a loot is a loot, it will take 6 months to a year before it respawns again. They always keep that dangerous beast as a test for Adventurers, and the Hobgoblin King is actually bound to the dungeon cave----never leaving its abode...only its minions can do this.

I just smirked at their confidence, but based on my experience in Gaion, if for once they did not hunt that Hobgoblin King and was able to kill lots of Adventurer....it will turn into a calamity.

Maybe in the future Frontier City will no longer exist...if that happens.

I also got some monetary rewards, sent to my personal smartphone account, these things are really handy and quite dangerous at the same time. The moment you lost the phone, you need to report it immediately to disable it.

But through the miracle of magic and technology, the phone disables itself, as its like a third arm for most people, the phone checks your identity whenever its held or if you touch the screen.

A self-regulated owner identifier....without the hassle.

Well, my acquired vehicle. the motorcycle did have the same security contingencies, but was a piece of cake to hack. I have the soul of a 10 Circle Archmage and the body of a technically savvy android....the best of both worlds.

Now let's forget all that for now and enjoy my day off...

If I'm gonna pretend, I may as well go the full mile, complete with chewing sound effects, its effective and no one is the wiser...even if I am under surveillance or something.

The Soul Food Spell, converts the food into "soul" so that I can "eat" and "taste" them, like I was a living organic person. Unfortunately, the process is not like actual eating, I take a bite and the part disappears...no sound from biting it...it just disappears and becomes a part of my soul.

That's why I need the elaborate setup of providing sound effects of eating, through my android vocal chords.

I "wiped" my mouth as soon as I was finished "eating" and decided to take a look around the mall some more and went for the fast food exit.

Its a typical mall where anything can be found: food courts, home theater systems, appliance centers, computers and a whole bunch of things that you can find in a typical mall.

The only difference is that all these tech are all produced using magic technology. Some don't need to plugged into wall sockets, they use Mana Batteries, and only someone with an affinity with mana can recharge them.

The charges, depending on the size of the appliance, can last for a full week of use, as energy stored in Mana Batteries, are kept using special rune techniques and inscription spells.

If this was the middle ages, I think that no ordinary commoner will be able to even purchase....let alone use one for their special needs.

I was looking for some "armor", light and durable, that will not hinder movements....of the android kind. I guess I can also look for a Magic Gun.

Using my magic smartphone, I already browsed what the Adventurer Mall was bound to offer, and they do have both the things that I want....and I'm on my way right now.

"Good afternoon, Welcome to Armamento! We provide all Adventurer needs!! From weapons to armor, to magic potions and magic buff elixirs, we have it all...for you!!!"

"Yes. I was wondering if you can show me your stock of light, durable and flexible armor, as well as an assorted options for a Magic Gun?"

"Yes! Right this way Sir!!"

I followed the sales clerk and was brought to two large shelves, faced to face with one another, you cannot touch the goods directly but if you hover your hand or hands over the item display cases....you can view their stats and other information about the magic item.

I actually don't need to do that since my Android Eyes, can pull up the holographic information instantly, as I am connected to every satellite in space, whether military or civilian or media corporate owned....nothing is not with in my hacking power range.

But again....if I'm gonna pretend....might as well as go the extra mile.

After a couple of minutes, of what seemed like endless browsing of tons of magic items, I found what I was looking for.

A polystyrene-like armor that looks like your typical body armor used by police officers in a special group or something, found in those movies and TV shows. It only covers the body and is just put on....like put it over your head and just slip both arms in the holes.

The Magic Gun is a bit different, it uses energy from the actual user. You provide the mana, the downside is it uses Thermal Collector clips and they eject one whenever you fire a shot. Its like an actual projectile gunpowder based pistol but instead of spent casings...you eject the TC (thermal collector) clips instead, to prevent the Magic Gun from overheating.

Well balanced weapon if I should say and quite brilliant too, the TC clips are loaded like when you load a magazine on a rifle or pistol, then fire and they eject like actual bullet casings too.

The nostalgic feeling of firing guns is still there and not removing that was a great choice...in my opinion.

"Okay give me bulk option number 3 and thank you for the extra polystyrene-like armor."

I was sipping hot coffee at a table right near a large hologram TV, there are no environments to enjoy, the choice is looking at the sales people selling stuff, looking at the various stuff which I don't need now or watch TV.

The choice is quite obvious.
