Mars smiled sheepishly and opened the carriage door for them. He almost forgot his surroundings, busy with his thoughts about a winter wedding and their future babies.

He got out first and then waited to help Emmelyn down the carriage. When they were about to enter through the castle's main door, they saw two horses galloped from afar heading in their direction.

"That must be Heron with the royal physician, Your Highness," said his coachman.

Mars remembered he ordered one of his soldiers to get Mr. Vitas to come because Emmelyn couldn't breathe earlier.

He was happy to know that the soldier was swift and could arrive with the old physician by the time their carriage reached the castle. He planned to reward that particular soldier with gold.

"Good evening, Your Highness," Mr. Vitas came down from his horse with the help of the soldier. He bowed down to the prince and Emmelyn. "I heard Her Highness is unwell?"
