Clara lowered her head and then looked up at Edgar again, with a pair of eyes that resembled puppy eyes. She was so embarrassed that she slipped about what she was thinking. It was her weakness actually.

Many people thought she was this elegant lady, well-educated, prim and proper, and whatnot... but it was actually the exterior she showed to people because of how she was taught to be a proper lady.

However, after she became close to someone and felt comfortable enough to be herself, she would show this side of her. The curious young woman with a lot of questions in her mind.

Now that she had spent so much time with Edgar and, especially, knowing they would be married soon, her level of comfort had gone up several notches and she let her guard down.

Now, she was worried if Edgar would be disappointed after he found out she was not exactly like the woman he thought she was.
