A GREAT NEWS

There were three things that Adrianne had learned from listening to the closed door of Mike's office. First, the family that she went to, was not a normal one. They came from her world as well and the good thing was, they came from the first blood, or rather her past family's blood.

Second, they already knew she was back. She didn't know-how, and they wanted to take her to fight her own curse. She couldn't help but laugh. How fool are those people? They really wanted to facilitate their death!

And lastly, she unconsciously made a mistake. She should have suppressed her laughter because she knew that no matter how small her voice was, those people inside the office could still hear her.

All of a sudden, the door opened as the gaze of the three men inside of the room caught her eye.

"Abigail," Mike called her the same time he saw her standing in front of the door.

"Daddy," Abigail uttered in a small voice.

Abigail furrowed her eyebrows together as she stretched her face downward. Looking in fear, she voluntarily looks at Mike. "W-Who are they, Daddy?"

One of the two men has a ruby glowing ring on his finger. She knew that ring because she was the first one to use it! It was used to open doors without approaching it. The two vampires watched her closely. But her eyes were fixed on the ring. It has lost its glowing light.

There was something in the little ring that was keeping her. She didn't t realize that they had already entered the office.

"Abigail," Mike softly gives out, carrying Abigail in his arms. His face couldn't be read. Taking a deep breath, he looked back at the two men who were standing silently in the back.

"Leave us alone."

"We will give you time. But remember that tomorrow we will come back to pick your daughter up. Do not try to run away. You know what will happen to you, Mike," said one of the men whom Adrianne do not know.

The two left the room, giving Mike the chance to talk to Abigail.

"Daddy, what's going on?"

"Listen carefully, Sweetie. Daddy has something to tell you. "

"What is it, Daddy?" But first of all, when will Mike release her from his grip? Adrianne hid the emotion she was feeling. She forced herself to endure Mike's arm surrounding her small body.

Mike finally took a sit on the sofa. He knelt down in front of Abigail and stared at her intently. As if memorizing her face. There was a trace of concern on Mike's face. In the short time that Adrianne had not seen the man, it seems like Mike had age 5 years older than what he used to.

Definitely because of the sadness and the grief Mike felt in the death of Eva and in the unborn baby.

Now that he will lose her child again, it seems that Mike will not be able to get up completely. Adrianne decided to give Mike medicine. She already can't bring back the former Mike whose happy and joyful. All she could do was to give him medicine that would numb his emotions. That way, Mike won't be confined to the pain he feels.

"Abigail, starting tomorrow you'll need to go with them. They will take you to your new school, " Mike patiently explained.

"Which school, Daddy?"

"Do you still remember your Mommy's stories for you? About vampires and magic? There, at that school sweetie, you'll see them."

"Really, Daddy? Just like what was written in the fairytale books?"

Pain flooded Mike's eyes. Adrianne noticed that. It was amusing to see the love Mike was giving for Abigail.

"Yes, Sweetie. Just like those books. You'll also learn how to use magic in there." Mike stroked Abigail's hair. "Do you want to go there, Sweetheart? But Daddy can't come with you."

"Why, Daddy?"

"Ahh... D-Daddy was already too old to go in there."

"Just like neverland, Daddy?"

Mike laughed for a moment at the child's innocence. "Yes, just like the Neverland. They can only take children to go in that place. But don't worry, your Grandfather was there. He has been wanting to see you for a long time. Even your Aunt Luna was waiting for you ."

"Wow! I'll see them finally!" The smile that drew on Abigail's lips was real. She can now return to Quirenne. She will finally be able to find the people who had caused her death in the past.

But now that she knows that Allan was part of the world she comes from, should she include the man in the curse? Abigail took a deep breath as she looked at the man carefully.

"But Abigail, promise Daddy you'll be back." The man held the child's two small hands.

"Promise Daddy you won't forget me. That after you study, you'll come back to in here. "

Adrianne had thought, she owns Abigail's body now. She has nothing to lose if she would not include Mike on the list. She decided to just keep the man for Abigail. For all the things she had done for that girl, she should be considered a kind girl now.

"Yes, Daddy." On the second thought, Adrianne also likes this world. She still has a lot to learn here. She will be back by the time she finished her mission "Daddy, I have another question."

"What's that, Abigail?' Mike looked at the child/. His eyes were full of affection.

"Is there any internet connection in that world?"

Mike didn't know how to answer the child. He also didn't know if that thing was there. He was too young when they left that world and it's been years already.

Abigail shrugged and then smiled sweetly.

"It doesn't matter, Daddy. I'll just bring my tablet. Can you buy me a laptop too? I want you to put all the books I wanted to read there. As well as movies. Add a cellphone, Daddy. Please "

At the demands of Abigail, Mike was no longer sure if the kid has any plans to return back. It seems like there was no problem with them being separated.

Mike enfolds his arms to Abigail tightly, "Abigail, promise me that you will come back in this world."
