FIRE FEET

Redblood's habitat was located in the Gazian Valley, deep in the magic wood named 'Galazia'. It was said that Red Blood is the last dragon from the era of the Galeadon was founded, the time that the Blue Witches still existed in the world.

After the Vienga flying ship and dropped Laurent down in to the Galazia wood, she was not too rushed to the mouth of the cave. She pulled out the lighter from her bag, and lighted up the torch she brought with before get inside the cave.

Lesser is faster. So apart of her clothes she was wearing, she had only empty waist bag which she prepared to put the Salcica inside. Because any kind of weapons couldn't fight the dragons except the weapon which made from Orgadian metal, or else, to fight the dragon she needs the magic to deal with them.

But the purpose for this time was not Salcica.

...It was Red Blood. Her mission was to delude Red Blood out of the cave so it could be trapped in the net.

Who hired the Vienga for the mission was Prince Lua of Zacharia, a kingdom in Galeadon, which has the long wide border which can access to the ocean. The most extravagant with money from taxes which they got from their ports. Thought in Galaedon, Erdal is another kingdom which has the border connected to the sea, but to reach the Erdal the ships from Far Away Realm have to past too many small and big islands and rocks.

The magic realm of Galeadon consisted of six kingdoms. There are five kingdoms in the mainland; Daren, Erdal, Cortridge, Virvalla, Zacharia, and one kingdom on the island which claimed that it was not a part of Galaedon; it was Erba-In, the paradise place for sky pirates. The reason that Erba-In claimed that they were not a part of Galaedon is they didn't use magic in their kingdom. While in the five kingdoms on mainland used magic in their dailies live, only Erba-in forbade the people and also included the visitors from others kingdoms to use any magics in the land if Erba-In.

In Galeadon every kind of magics came from the dragons. The magicians learnt to use magic from the dragon's stone more than a thousand years ago. Every part of the dragon would turn to magic dragon's stone, but not every part would turn to the powerful magic stone. The heart would turn to the most powerful magic stone which the magician who got it could use it for a lifetime, the phlegm would turn to magic fuel stone which used in flying ship, dragon's scale would turn to a limited magic stone which could use for an easy spell only one time or can protect them from the attack by magic only one time. Even the feces from the dragon would turn to marble or ordinary stone which Galeadonean people used for all extravagant tower and building in the realm.

And to be more powerful than using magic stone was to be bond to the living dragon's heart, not the heart from the dead dragons. But because the dragons are expensive, so only royal families could do that. There are many kinds of dragons in the realm and people tried to breed the dragon but they weren't not successful in the kinds of dragons which could give high magic power. It was said that if human bond the heart with the dragon, they could expand their lifetime also. Perhaps, Prince Lua wanted Red Blood for bonding, so he could has high magic power to rule people in his kingdom.

But behind an able man, there are always other able men. There was the most powerful magic with no limitations and unconditional which used by the beautiful ladies, Blue Witches; they are not beautiful from only appearance, but their heart are also beautiful and pure. They could use their magics without any conditions or the price. They don't need magic stone. They could pull the power of nature surrounded them and turn it to unconditional magic. It was said that their magic came from their beautiful heart. But for the magicians who used magic from the magic stones, sometime they had the price to pay and the magic was full of conditions.

But Blue Witches had been disappeared for a thousand years. They had gone ---- just like they were mysteriously disappeared from the Galaedon. After that the era of Galeadon started. There were so many tales about Blue Witches had told mouth to mouth in Galeadon. and so did Erba-in has some.

Some were truth, some weren't, or some were just the tales which was made up for the children.

In Erba-in, the most famous story about the Blue Witches was about the blue star in the sky. It was said that they moved back to where they came from and turned the star to blue color to call all the Blue Witches back home. One of them had a human lover, so she made the flying ship for her lover to fly to the blue star. No one knew if it was truth or only tales. There were no sky pirates flew to the blue star yet.

If the sky pirates look up in the sky in the dark night, the blue star would be overhead when they arrived home; so, the sky pirates used the blue star to lead them home.

Now. Laurent's heart beat fast as same as the sound of the Erba-in summer festival's drums. She stopped and stared the surrounding all over the big hall in the cave she just arrived. With the light of the torch in her hand, showing the cave's hall was very big; it was big enough for the dragon to fly inside this cave but the entrance of the cave was the little hole which she came in, it meant this cave would have another entrance which she didn't know and she should find it before she finds the dragon.

In the cave was very quiet, she could hear only the sound of water dropping from stalactite in the ceiling clearly. Laurent was so sure she didn't make any sound since she came in, but she was not sure if the dragon already knew she came in.

'Where is it?', she thought and kept walking quietly, even her breath, she was trying to control because she was afraid that it could make a noise. The smell of coal smoke from the dragon was getting stronger and stronger in the big hall of the cave. There were a lot of connection ways from this hall, so she walked around to check every way until she could smell the strong coal smoke from the way she just passed. She was not ready to see the dragon right now. At least she should find the way out of this cave first. But if she couldn't, she has to get out of the cave and send a signal by hand flare for Captain Uhezga to explode the mountain.

The stronger scent of coal smoke made her heart beat faster, and the words of the old sky pirate in fisherman villag, Ticaca popped in her head.

'You will be burnt too ashes before you know it coming to you'

Laurent understood what is the meaning by that when she saw an old pirate's boot full with cobwebs and dust and there was a leg bone inside the boot.; this was the other side of Ticaca's boot, she could remember exactly because every time when Ticaca was telling the story of his last mission as a Fire Feet, he would be proudly show his right leg which still had left.

She kicked that boot to the wall of the cave to make sure she would not stumble when she came back to this way.

"Huh! Why the humans are so annoying, I live peacefully here but they keep coming to provoke me," said by unknown young man's voice with a giant red dragon appeared silently behind Laurent, the big nose of the dragon was almost hit her but she couldn't feel it was coming closer.

How it could do like this? Laurent wondered, not only how it could appear silently, but how could the dragon speak?

More than fear, Laurent's eyebrows frowned with doubt. She had never confronted with any speaking dragon, and the dragon should not speak, as much as she knew, as much as everyone knew, dragon cannot speak. She turned herself to face the dragon, it was red like blood but not twice as big as the normal size, it almost trice as big. The pair of big gold eyes looked down pungently. Laurent stepped back three steps with instinct of her fear, tried to control herself not to shiver even she scared when she saw the full size of the Red Blood.

"Why you can speak?" said Laurent wonderingly, instead of running away, she stood still there like a fool even she was in front of the most dangerous creature which could kill her easily.

"I can do more than speak, but because you're the girl, I'll be easy on you!" the dragon bellowed in alarm, the repetition of Red Blood's sound echoed in the cave made her feel giddy, Laurent knew suddenly what she has to do; it's a time to run!

1) The Salcica or the dragon's phlegm used as fuel in flying ships. It was the of the dragon, it was Fire Feet of Flying ship to get that thing by provoking the dragon, let it chasing you with fire. And when the dragon ran after the Fire Feet until they almost out of fire, they would throw out the phlegm from their throat.

2) Orgadian Metal is a mysterios metal from the time before Galeadon realm was founded. It is only one kind of metal which will not melted by the dragon's fire. The Orgadian meatel can cut everything made from magic. If use this metal to make the shield, it can protect magic attacking power.
