1 Two Siblings

"Eric, Eric wake up." One girl said, pulling the blanket off of Eric.

As Eric woke up and looked towards his sister who had just turned 10 years old, he asked her, "Sara, can you let me sleep for a little more?"

"No. You promised me that you would take me to buy candy today." Sara replied.

"Ok, ok. Go get some breakfast while I get ready."

Sara quickly smiled and happily left the room to get breakfast.

Eric also quickly got ready and left to get some breakfast. When he got to the cafeteria, he saw the rows of children sitting together to eat.

He looked at many of the small children and remembered the time when he and his sister first came to the orphanage. Now, many years had passed and he was already 17 years old.

He quickly saw his sister sitting at one of the tables and the seat that she had saved up for him.

As he was about to line up to get his food, he saw Jay, the manager of the orphanage.

Eric quickly went up to him and handed him the money as rent and food expenses for him and his sister.

"Eric, you don't have to pay for these."

"The orphanage has taken care of me and my sister for so long and I really should pay for these things now that I have a job."
