Jay reluctantly took the money from Eric.

"Alright, you should go eat."

"Oh and don't forget about the cultivation test for your sister tomorrow."

"Of course, I could never forget something so important."

Only one in ten thousand people might have the ability to cultivate and even within the entire city, there were barely any cultivators.

The Crescent Sect that oversaw the city and even the entire region would send cultivators in the city every year to get everyone who had turned 10 years old to test to see if they had the ability to cultivate.

There were many stalls in the market with people selling tons of different items.

Sara tugged on Eric's sleeves and while pointing at one of the stalls, she said, "Can I get one of those candies please?"

"All right come on."

"How much is this candy?"

"You get 3 of these for 1 copper."

"Only 3 of these?"

Sara looked at Eric and said, "Please, you promised that you would buy me candy."

Eric passed a copper coin to the merchant as he said, "Alright fine."

As they explored the market, they bought some food for the children at the orphanage and went back.
