Resolve

Justin sat on his bed nursing Ashley back to health. He had just been told about what was going on with her and also with him and had been offered to be taken into accomodation by Charles King but he had refused. He had refused joining the Advocate completely but he knew he wasn't the one to choose for Ashley when she woke.

He had seen how people were killed and a bit of how things were done in the society and he didn't want to be a part of it. He was all his sister had, and joining the Advocate made him more liable die. They were poor and he knew that they weren't going to live in someone else's house forever. He didn't see reason for being in the Advocate if he had nothing to offer, it would be much better if he continued his petty struggles and at least make a living for him and his sister. Life would be easier that way.

He didn't like the killings and everything and how was he to stop the enemity that his grandparents had started over jealousy if he wasn't gifted. He knew that if the fight between the two cults continued, then he and his sister will constantly have targets on their back. It was better to not be a part of any of them than to take sides. All he wanted now was peace so that things would go back to normal. If the fighting between the two cults didn't stop, then eventually it would affect the common people and soon people who don't anything about these societies would end up getting harmed and he didn't want that for anyone.

Charles sat with King in his underground library which was basically his basement that he had furbished and turned into a library instead. The Teenage boy he had captured earlier was bound to a chair and every toy and object around him removed and for good reason. They were patiently waiting for him to regain consciousness but it seemed he had punched too hard. He sent Wilson home with the siblings after Ezekiel had attended to them after a long conversation with them and King.

Justin, the male sibling had rejected offer into the Advocate after he had been told he had no ability unlike his sister whose psychic potentials were already surfacing. He had rejected the offer claiming that he preferred living his life the casual method and not killing other humans. They had offered him protection even after his refusal, it was a promise made to his grandfather and they wanted to honor it. King had suggested wiping his memory of anything concerning the Advocates since he wasn't willing to be a member but Charles had bluntly refused.

Even if he wasn't going to be a member, Advocate blood still flowed in his veins and he had the right to know about his family's legacy. After much arguing, King had finally given in and Justin's memories weren't wiped.

The boy finally moved his head, while slowly trying to open his eyes. Everything would have been easier if Ezekiel hadn't run out of power. He had been healing people since the battle began while doing his best to avoid getting into trouble. He had fought the hardest amongst all of them and definitely deserved some rest.

They watched as the boy slowly opened his eyes and finally straightened his head. He had immediately started to struggle immediately he realized he was bound up and that these men weren't people he recognized.

"It's okay, we're not gonna hurt you" Charles tried to calm him down but the boy had continued struggling until the chair gave in and fell sideways. Neither of them neared the boy, not knowing how far his abilities had developed. Instead, King had raised the chair by himself using telekinesis.

The boy had finally stopped struggling, King had broken into his head and calmed him down while raising the chair at the same time.

Recreation, an ability that manifested when a person had killed more people than he could count and trapping their souls in Limbo. This then grants him the ability to summon these souls into inanimate objects making them his mindless pawns. After his brother had killed his wife and daughter, Simon Brown had gone on a Killing spree and had concluded that death was even an easier punishment for his victims, so he had used his ability Imprisonment to trap the souls of anyone he killed and later on, would trap these souls into structures and other objects bringing them to life and making them his mindless bodyguards.

As if this wasn't enough, he had even developed an even greater power, draining people of their soul. He commander these souls he had trapped earlier to override a humans body and when the vessel had been weakened, he proceeded to pull out their souls and once again trap them with his Imprisonment. This ability was so broken that he almost singlehandedly destroyed the Guild. Which might have even pushed them to start recruiting kids like this just to make up in number.

"What do you want from me?"The boy asked glaring menacingly at Charles whom he had just recognized as the man that punched him yesterday.

"Your abilities, how did you get them?"
