"I didn't even see that coming." Ben said out loud but was too late to stop himself from saying that but he spoke for everyone conscious who saw that.

Gwen couldn't believe that Kevin, who was chatting with her was capable of such and was able to do that mid convo without breaking a sweat.

"Is that prison strength or what?" Gwen asked jokingly but Ben and the Pyronite wanted to know. The Pyronite now believed what Ben was saying earlier about Kevin beating him and not holding back like he did.

"What kind of monster are you? You nearly killed me!" The Pyronite flew in Kevin's direction and landed in front of him.

"Well, I have been working out." Kevin said as he pulled his shirt up revealing a cut six-pack. That action seemed to answer Gwen as she couldn't help but blush at that sight.

The Pyronite was getting annoyed that Kevin ignored him and was talking to Gwen instead and lost control of his temper.

Approaching Kevin, the Pyronite was about to touch his shoulders without regulating the temperature on his body which would burn Kevin's jacket but Kevin his head around slowly and instantly, and some kind of pressure fell on the Pyronite causing him to kneel.

"Don't… Don't ignore me!" The Pyronite yelled as he got hotter until Ben came along.

"Easy there. You don't want to fight him." Ben warned once again.

"I don't care. I have been nothing but nice ever since I met him but instead, he was mean to me!" The Pyronite complained and fought hard within himself not to cry. The whole allegations on him weighed down on him heavily but a little interaction with Kevin made him the wall of I am okay he built crumble away.

"Aww, look at him. Stop messing with him, you are gonna make him cry." Gwen said as she came closer to the Pyronite.

And that did it. Gwen's comment broke the floodgates as the Pyronite wept uncontrollably before them.

"I… innocent… I am innocent… I didn't burn anything… I… I… The Pyronite heat increased and that got Ben and Gwen worried about his current state.

"Look at what you did." Gwen pouted as she shielded herself from the heat.

Removing his jacket and shirt and tossing it to Gwen he grabbed the Pyronite and flew high in the sky quickly enough before the kid would actually burn something. It looked like the sun was rising when Kevin flew up with the Pyronite and to people far away, it looked like a firework.

"What is this? Why are you?" Gwen wanted to ask why Kevin flashed her his body again but was too stunned.

"Maybe you are right. Maybe if we give Kevin a chance, he could change." Ben said as he transformed back to his base state. He wondered why Gwen didn't respond and looked in her direction only to find her still dazed from a shirtless Kevin.

"Really? Is he that ripped Gwen? Ben asked jokingly.

"Hmm… oh. Were you talking to me, Ben?" Gwen asked as she folded Kevin's clothes.

"Don't bother, it's nothing." Ben sighed and looked up to find Kevin landing safely with the calmed Pyronite in tow.

"Sorry for causing a mess." The Pyronite apologized.

"It's okay, sometimes Kevin does that to me. The only difference is I don't cry about it." Ben smiled and tapped the Pyronite's shoulder.

"Look at that, my good behaviour is already rubbing off on you Ben." Kevin teased.

Gwen was nowhere to be seen around a shirtless Kevin as she distanced herself from Kevin's already folded clothes.

"And you ruined my jeans." Kevin said as he looked down at his jeans which were in patches now.

"Look, the sky has already cleared. It has stopped snowing!" Gwen tried to change the subject as they recognized why they were even here in the first place.

With the help of the Pyronite heating the officer's body, they broke out of their suspended state.

"What happened?" The sheriff asked immediately as soon as he could talk showing his experience as a law enforcer to get data on what had transpired.

"Alan (the Pyronite) defeated the aliens, destroyed their machine…" Ben tried to explain to the Sheriff but heard a cough from behind him.

"Destroyed their machine with our help…" Kevin who had clothed himself again, wanted to cough again but Gwen unknowingly held his hand which caused an awkward moment for her since she wanted Ben to give credit to Pyronite so that all charges on Alan would be dropped but also she wanted to remove her hand since her heart started beating fast but also didn't want to remove it again to look weird which made her sweat a little.

"…Then used his heat powers to free everyone from suspended animation," Ben concluded then turned to face Alan who just transformed back to his human form.

"We were wondering if you could join our team. We could use a powerhouse like you. Lots of aliens to fight out there." Ben said trying to get Alan excited to join, this time not hiding the fact from the Sheriff.

'Just pray you don't meet Fate if she's still alive… I don't even want to think about her!' Kevin thought and shook his head.

Gwen at the time was watching Kevin's facial expression and wondered if he didn't like her hand on his and bowed her head slightly.

"He can't." The Sheriff said as he put a hand on Alan's shoulder gently.

"He's gonna be too busy helping round up other aliens who might still be hiding in this town. Besides, you guys are pretty strong yourselves." The Sheriff added.

"Even so, anytime you need me, just call." Alan said with conviction in his voice.

"Sure, if I need a babysitter." Kevin teased and the wholesome moment was ruined.

"Ah c'mon Kevin, really?" Ben asked.

Back on planet Sylvie,

"I don't think King Kevin is just taking a casual vacation away from the planet." Said one voice in the shadows of a large palace.

"Same, I think the crown queen isn't telling us the truth as well. She has been pushing our plans away for quite some time now and got leverage by finding the man of the prophecy first! As if killing her parents wasn't enough to do the job… I knew we should have …" Replied another voice.

"Are you insane?! We might be using magic to conceal ourselves and this meeting but do not be deluded into thinking that brat Ashley can't do better! Someone here has information that is worthy of this round table, now let's hear it!"
