One month later, you could see two teenagers on a yacht getting a tan.
They were snuggling close to each other despite the blazing summer heat of the Caribbean.
These two were none other than Zeel and Alice.
After their initial encounter with Hannu, they had since left the jungle and traveled around the world. On these trips, Zeel had discovered his abilities of Techno-Mancy and Memory Manipulation.
Alice gained the ability of Self-Amplification which basically just refined her telekinesis ability to its peak. She could now lift an entire bus with her telekinetic abilities.
The initial plan was to travel around and steal money that would later be invested. Through this method, they could garner a large enough financial backing for their future projects.
However, with Zeel's Memory Manipulation ability, they had many more options available.
Zeel and Alice spent the following months altering the memories of many people.
Their current identities were the son and daughter-in-law of this world's version of the Rothschild family, granting them not only numerous connections but also stable financial backing.
The funding gained was used to construct many bases all over the world. This was mostly Zeel's paranoia taking place since Alice believed they only needed one base.
But, like always, Zeel needed a backup, and then a backup for the backup.
Their plans were currently in their infant stage. Zeel and Alice wanted to be prepared for whatever may come four months later.
The main base was in New York City; an entire building was bought from one of the wealthiest business in New York.
The Sky scrapper was exceptionally tall, it was a tower, amongst other towers.
It was currently under the final stages of renovation, with new tech constantly being shipped in from overseas.
Zeel was attempting to redesign some techniques from his world and Alice's. The reason Zeel chose to implement new techniques and not an entirely new technology, was due to a lack of resources.
Zeel's Universe was a peak-level civilization. This meant that they could harvest entire Galactic Cores as a source of energy. Zeel simply lacked the resources to build even a toilet from his own Universe.
Zeel and Alice used new techniques to turn cloning technology into a state-of-the-art med bay.
Precious metals became clothing designs and bone plating material. Of course, the bone plating was one of Alice's side projects. Unlike Zeel, Alice preferred to contribute to the new world just a little to placate her aching heart.
She chose to invest in skeletal deficiencies like Osteogenesis.
Umbrella cryogenic chambers and jets were re-designed to fit deep space travel. Zeel wanted to build space ships but only the most basic foundations as a prototype.
Zeel used this to measure his ability to build using insufficient technology.
All of the tech Zeel designed came with a self-destruct function since he wasn't actually planning on using most of them, and upon his departure, he would not leave anything behind.
Zeel made sure to hire only expandable workers.
Therefore, upon completion, he wanted to eliminate all those who worked on the project. However, Alice convinced him to simply wipe their memories of everything related to Zeel and herself.
Today, Alice and Zeel were taking a long-deserved rest. The previous day, they had tried the majority of the delicious foods the Bahamas had to offer.
They planned to have a date night later in the evening. The pub was local, and a very romantic spot. Their date was Zeel's idea since he had been reading relationship books in his free time.
Once they got there, the duo drew the eyes of almost all the men and women around.
They were exceptionally gifted in the looks department but they suspected it had much more to do with their presence than their actual looks themselves.
They carried themselves as free souls, wild, young, roaming, pleased, unrestrained, contented, and most of all lively.
Hailing from worlds that were on the brink of destruction, they had become accustomed to survive, kill, run.
Suddenly, they didn't have to do that anymore. Their shoulders had grown weary from such intense struggles. Hence, given the opportunity, they both relaxed like no one else before them.
Alice and Zeel didn't know what the future held in store, but even if the world was destroyed they would likely shrug and say "Can't save them all,".
As dinner was coming to an end, Zeel and Alice made their way to the front of the stage and began dancing for about five minutes.
Their dances alternated between Rumba, Dancehall, and Disco. It was a wild night, filled with their bodies grinding and Alice doing the only move she knew – fist pumps.
The announcer then began his introductions "Tonight we have a lovely gentleman who wants to dedicate a song to his long-time lover, help me in welcoming Zeel Crawford,"
Cheers began to echo as Zeel walked up to the stage.
After receiving the mike, Zeel bowed and said "I would like to dedicate this song to my wonderful girlfriend,"
'Wooooooooooo' The crowd replied, giving space to Alice at the front.
She was still a bit shocked that someone as romantically tasteless as Zeel could come up with this surprise.
Zeel began singing and everyone quieted down.
The audience was surprised that an angelic voice could come from such a cold looking teenager.

As the song was coming to an end, Zeel was standing in front of Alice whose eyes were glistening with tears.
Knowing the badass Alice is, Zeel held no delusions of being a protector or promised her eternal happiness. because they could die at any moment.
Alice and Zeel have a strong connection. They may not be a conventional couple, but a little indulgence here and there could go a long way.
That's why they've been going around making memories together. Zeel's memories weren't pleasant and Alice, being a clone, had no memories of her own.
Zeel had been working on this big reveal for weeks now and felt it was the right time to indulge. Zeel wanted to make a real proposal, one that was not fuelled by an Apocalyptic crisis.
Using his newly gained TechnoMancy skill, Zeel created a unique gem of rare metals that could protect her if any unforeseen circumstances.
He even went as far as to use some Forbidden Knowledge in its creation, though immediately after making it, Zeel had forgotten exactly what that forbidden knowledge was.
Zeel knelt in front of Alice and said "You have been with me through thick and thin for all these years. We have seen the worst of humanity and stayed together, we've also seen the best of humanity; leaving our mark behind as legends.
We have achieved so much – me for selfish reasons but you through selflessness. I believe after all you have given and sacrificed, you deserve a little happiness of your own.
At this point, I doubt anything can come between us. I know we're already married before but this signifies a new bond in a new world. Alicia Marcus, will you do me the honors of becoming Alice Crawford?"
Opening the case in his hands, a bright light shrouded the entire pub.
Witnessing the rainbow gem with constantly shifting colors, the eyes of the crowd were instantly drawn towards it.
The crowd had long begun taking pictures and recording videos. Almost on the signal with the proposal, roses began to fall from the sky, different colors of roses similar to the ring in Zeel's hand.
"Yes, of course," Alice replied as if her answer was obvious.
Zeel's mouth twitched since Alice was basically saying 'If I don't marry you, who will put up with someone as crazy as you?'.
Alice and Zeel shared many passionate kisses as the dancing resumed. The pressure their bodies gave off due to their arousal made many people uncomfortable.
The kissing turned, to grinding hips, constant hickeys, nipple sucking, and an all-out dash towards a nearby hotel.
The night ended in smashed walls and beds at the nearby hotel.
The next day, the proposal was the headline on many social media platforms.
This was mostly due to the roses that fell like rain in the end. Zeel had built the robots using his TechnoMancy skill causing no evidence of the mechanism used to be discovered.
The roses disappeared naturally after a couple of minutes, which further exasperated the situation.
It later became a legend at the pub, 'Only true love could call the roses down'.
This caused a lot of guys to empty their pockets for a rose shower whenever the pub was visited for a marriage proposal.
