Wait, What?

As the four of us sat there, well one still clinging to me and the other two sipping their tea, we waited for someone to break the ice.

.

"S-shall we discuss why we're here?" Yagi, being brave, decided to crack the ice.

"Let's start with the reason why this bastard is here," Mitsuki spoke with venom.

.

I sighed at her tone, not knowing that I just infuriated her even more.

.

"First of all, I'm sure this is the first time we've met," I said to which she snorted.

"No, it's not," She stated as she sipped her tea.

"How?" I asked, knowing full well that can't be possible.

"You're the bastard that fathered both my and Inko's sons," Mitsuki nearly shouted as she glared at me. Inko, on the other hand, just sobbed into my arm.

"Impossible," Both Yagi and I said at the same time. "For one, due to certain reasons, I came to Japan by coincidence less than a year ago. And second, I look nothing like them."

"They do take after us, that is true," She admitted, "But they are definitely your kids."

"Again, how?" I asked, knowing that it should be impossible for me to have kids. "What proof do you have of me being their father?"

"Inko, would you please go get THAT photo album?" Mitsuki asked to which Inko reluctantly let go of me and walked out of the living room.

.

As we waited for Inko to return, the three of us heard the door open. Soon, Izuku and Katsuki walked into the room. At first, they were confused when they saw Yagi and I sitting down with Mitsuki. Yagi, they knew from the fight he had with AFO, but they didn't recognize me without my helmet at first until I greeted them. When they realized who I was, they realized something big was happening. But we didn't say why we were here until a few things were cleared up.

It took a minute, but soon Inko came back with a photo album in her hands. Katsuki and Izuku were confused as they hadn't seen that particular album before. Yagi and I were confused too since Inko seemed to be scared of the album.

.

"Here you go, Mitsuki," Inko said before she sat down next to me.

.

Mitsuki sighed before opening the album, flipping a few pages before she pulled out a few photos. The first one was surprising, to say the least. It showed a younger Inko and Mitsuki during their high school days hanging off of a teen who looked a lot like me, just without the scars. The second one was similar with the three of them eating lunch on top of a roof. The third one was them at an arcade. And so on as Mitsuki continued to pull out pictures.

Finally, she started to pull out collage photos. They were all similar to the high school ones. From parties to study sessions, the photos showed them always hanging out together.

The more I looked, the more a vague feeling came into my mind. Like I should know about these.

.

"These pictures are only showing some of our time together," Mitsuki stated as she closed the album.

"The person in the picture sure does look like you..." Yagi said though I didn't pay attention to him.

"Aunty, are you saying that Six-sensei is..." Izuku started but stopped himself.

"Are you saying that he's our shitty father!?" Katsuki shouted, to which he was smacked by both Mitsuki and me.

.

I didn't know why, but these pictures resonated with me. Like a long-forgotten record player being used for the first time in a long time. But it was out of tune, like something wasn't messing just right. Like I was missing something.

.

"When did the three of us meet?" I asked as there was some fog clearing from my head.

"It was the last year of Elementary School when we met for the first time," Inko was the one who answered this time. "You had just moved here due to your mother's and father's work, something about them being scientists. You were so shy and your Japanese was completely horrid, it was a wonder how you managed." She reminisced.

.

There. It was slight, but the tune was still out of sync. But not by much.

.

"Name," I said, which confused them but Yagi knew what I was asking.

"I'll explain," He said as I tuned him out.

.

He explained the truth, minus some parts about being from a different world. He told them that I was shot in the head and lost most of my memories, even pointing out the scar on my forehead. From there, he told them how I made my life as a bounty hunter and an invertigator for hire in America; This was the cover story that Nezu came up with for me.

The more Yagi talked, the more shocked they were about my past. But I didn't pay any mind to them. As he finished telling my tale, I was going over the photos that were laid out.

.

"Dylan," Mitsuki answered solemnly, "Dylan Jones, that is your name."

"Dylan, does the name ring any bells to you?" Inko asked.

.

The name, it does ring in my head but something's off about it. Like I'm a few pieces short of a full puzzle. Like a record player skipping over sections of a song.

I asked to see the album, to go over what else could be in there. Mitsuki handed it over and as I skimmed over the pictures, more and more pieces were appearing. Piece after piece was falling into place.

But something wasn't adding up. Like a piece was still missing. It didn't help that a massive headache was coming on.

.

"...S...SI... SIX!" Yagi shouted and shook my shoulder, snapping me out of my head.

"Huh, what?" I sputtered then felt something dripping down my face. A quick whip showed that I was bleeding from my nose once again.

"Are you okay?!" Inko and Izuku asked at the same time, worry evident in their eyes.

"I-I think so," I spoke, somewhat dizzy as my mind spun with fragmented memories.

.

Inko stood and rushed into the kitchen before coming back with a first aid kit. She quickly opened it up and started to clean my face up while stopping the bleeding. As she worked, Yagi looked over me in worry as he's never seen me this vulnerable.

.

"Yagi, could you explain why we are here while I go get some air?" I asked once Inko finished cleaning up my face.

"You sure, Six?" Yagi asked as I stood on shaky legs.

"Yeah," I answered as I walked out of the house.

.

I sat on the front steps as I held my head in my hands. My mind raced through countless fragmented memories, trying to make heads or tails of what was appearing in my mind. Before I knew it, twenty minutes passed and Yagi opened the door to find me sitting there. He patted me on my back before he walked towards his car. I understood that it was time to go, so as I stood to leave, I glanced back at the door one last time. As I got into Yagi's car, I saw out of the corner of my eye the blinds were pulled back. There stood Mitsuki and Inko, looking at me as we pulled away.

.

"Well, they agreed," Yagi said as he drove.

"That's good," I sighed, understanding what he was trying to do for me. "Any trouble with the arrangements?"

"Surprisingly, none. They accepted it pretty well," Yagi told me.

"They were worried about me, weren't they?" I asked as I looked out the car window.

"They were," Yagi sighed, "But they understood that you have a lot on your plate, so they didn't pry into matters."

"Tell me, do Paternity tests still work with the advent of quirks?" I asked him suddenly.

"They do," Yagi answered, "You're planning for Young Katsuki and Izuku to take the test as well."

"Yes, I want to eliminate all possible variables from this," I told him as we stopped at a stop light. "If they really are my kids... they... I..." I stopped myself before saying the next words with conviction, "I need to know. And if my name is really Dylan Jones, I need to look into who my parents were or are."

"I know that David and Melissa Shield owe you a favor or two, so you can call in those," Yagi answered in a truthful tone.

"Yeah, I guess they do," I sighed, "After that, I need to find out who I am."

"Whether you the mercenary Six, or the lost father Dylan Jones," Yagi said as the light turned green, "I suppose that this is-"

"LOOK OUT!!!"

.

I shouted out as I grabbed the steering wheel and yanked it right. As the car slid to the right, a semi-truck and trailer nearly rammed into the car. Sparks flew as the driver's mirror got racked down the side of the car. Yagi, seeing this quickly pushed a button on his dash before pushing me to get out. I complied and got out then grabbed Yagi and pulled him out too.

As Yagi went to stand, three more semi-trucks and trailers boxed us in. I was pissed already as I could tell this was a villain attack aimed at Yagi when he's weak. As Yagi got to his feet, the sides of the trailers opened out and villains came pouring out. But that wasn't all, Legion soldiers marched out as well as an old friend.

.

"Axe Man, what a pleasure to see you once again," I growled at him.

"AXE MAN SEES YOU REMEMBER HIM!" Axe man spoke loudly, a deranged smile on his face.

.

Yagi understood from our banter that this was a kill-or-be-killed moment. So summoning up the last of his power, he buffed up and was ready to fight. The air was tense as both sides readied themselves for a fight.

The one who charged first was Axe Man. He charged with a fire axe in his hands while I pulled a [Ranger Sequoia]. He didn't stop his charge and so I gave him a quick death. As the shot left my barrel, I watched as Axeman's head exploded. Chunks of his head turn into makeshift projectiles. The Villains and the Legion didn't stop their charge, so I continued to fire until I was forced to switch weapons. As I did, Yagi covered for me, taking the villains down in one punch while the Legion got right back up.

I pulled out a [9mm Pistol+] and started to unload at the Legion members while Yagi took care of the villains. But it seemed that for everyone who died or was knocked out, two more seemed to take their place. We fought for our lives as the villains and Legion continued to come at us.

Finally, after five minutes of continuous fighting, Yagi wore himself out and reverted to his skinny form. Thankfully there were only a handful of villains and Legion left. As I reloaded one last time, the villains were warily looking at us. They watched as their fellow villain brethren get the absolute shit beat out of them or get killed. As for the Legion members, they all littered the ground, dead.

.

"Yagi, you good?" I asked as I glanced his way. He had been fighting in his skinny form for a minute already.

"I feel like I'm back in my school days," He spoke up as he coughed up some blood. He had seen better days

"Great," I muttered as I looked around at the remaining villains. "We can do this, there aren't many left."
