The Power Couple Emerges

As Sean found Sara on the back porch he embraced her from behind. He heard her sigh before saying, "Your grandmother asked me to stay with her." Sean nodded before responding, "I know. She told me she was, it's up to you though." Sara leaned her head back before saying, "this fight I can't stand by idly when you're out there fighting for your life." Sean was about to respond when two different phones went off in his pocket. After briefly answering the first one he answered the second one on speaker, "Boss, we have a situation. A helicopter is already en route." Claire's voice rang out. Shortly after she hung up the phone the sound of a helicopter could be heard in the distance. Sean's phone was constantly going off with texts, furrowing his eyes as he looked at the phone.

"What's wrong?" Sara voice broke through his focus as he was contemplating courses of action. "Dearborn is under attack and someone has made an unannounced attack on my operation in Bay City. I need to go back to handle this." Sara grabbed his arm as she started to walk towards where the helicopter was setting down. "Take care of your operation. I'll handle the problem at Dearborn." The determination in her eyes was burning as she looked at Sean. He only simply nodded as he led her to the waiting helicopter.

After taking off Sara pulled out her phone and began looking into the problem that had somehow already reached the news. "I'll need a laptop and your people need to start forwarding me all the information they have gathered so far and keep me looped in on new information." Sean nodded as he sent a text and began making some other calls. Soon after the helicopter landed at a private airport where a plane was already waiting. As the two people entered the plane, a man wearing the same uniform as the home staff handed Sara a laptop. As she sat down and began working on it Sean froze. Looking at the woman focused on the laptop, the wavy hair settling on one side, the pen that she'd borrowed in her mouth as she typed. The serious look on her face while quickly muting out the world, put Sean in awe. Sara looked up at Sean to see him staring at her. Tilting her head she asked, "what is it? Come on we're about to take off and you probably have work to do too." Sean snapped out of it to sit down next to her with his laptop. Shortly after the couple was airborne and headed west. Little to their knowledge the press had somehow been notified of their arrival time.

As the plane landed in Bay City, the sun had began to set and night was coming. However little did the residents know, a different type of darkness was coming. As the couple exited the plane and made their way through the terminal the reporters spotted them. Immediately they were swarmed as they walked out of the building, questions left right and center were being thrown at Sean when he suddenly stopped at the waiting car. Turning around his dark brown eyes pierced the reporters, scaring them so much they stood silently as they held out their microphones. The icy voice seemed to echo of the airport building behind them, "We will not take any questions, The Chairman was on a personal trip when this incident came to light, so she hasn't had time to evaluate the situation." No one dared to speak except for one lady near the back, "I'm sorry Mr. McAlester you said that the chairman is a she. When did you step down?" Sean glared in the direction of the voice before the reporters shuffled away from her to give him a clearer view. "The day that I got married. My wife has taken the role of chairman from me." Suddenly el the eyes focused on the woman holding Sean's arm. A gasp was heard when one of the reporters announced, "It's the Ice Queen from Hughes. Remember how she rebuilt that company in the middle of a blacklist from the Henson's." Soon the realization fell on everyone but the couple had already left before they could get questions out.

Soon the breaking news wasn't the report on Dearborn but that somehow the surprise marriage of the Business King and the Ice Queen. The couple was too preoccupied with their own situation to worry about the new gossip burning through the city. Soon after leaving the airport, Sean started chuckling. Sara looked at him puzzled, "what's so funny." Sean looked at her before rubbing her head, "where did they get the name Ice Queen." Sara glared at him, "keep it up and you'll be sleeping on the floor tonight." Sean laughed even harder at the piercing blue eyes. Leaning over to kiss her head, "I like it. It can suit you sometimes." Sara smiled before responding, "I got the name about a month before you came back. I froze out the Henson's from a cooperation I was working on with Greenfield. When our freeze of cooperating with them came public people calls me petty and revengeful but it was just a business decision. Soon someone gave me the name of Ice Queen as we were the only company other than Dearborn that couldn't be touched. It's stuck since then" Seam nodded before responding, "You've been found out before there was anytime to inform the Decision Board, so I'm afraid they won't respect you tonight."

"Decision board? What are you talking about?" Sean smirked before responding, "my team of highly competent staff members. They help run the company either in my absence or will provide input on major decisions. When they company goes in defense like this they shut out all communication. They receive intel about every hour in massive dumps that they filter through. Getting a note to them is too difficult. But it's to keep the future of the company safe and intact. Also it prevents them from either being found or hacked." Sara looked at Sean as they pulled up to her old house. "Why are we here?" Sara then saw a group of men come out of the house opening the garage and getting in trucks parked inside. "I took over as a temporary team home for my crew. They can stay here out of sight from prying eyes. No time to waste. I'll see you at home." Sean stated before exiting the car.

After getting out of the car, Sean immediately took of his black shirt and was handed a bright red shirt with onyx buttons. He looked over at the car driving away as he sighed silently. Berkowski walked up behind his boss before stating in German, "Everything is ready boss." Sean turned around, gone was the gentle and carefree smile, replaced was the sinister and devilish smile. "Berkowski, it's been a while since we've fought together. Let's leave no one to tell the story of what happened tonight. Let's have tonight become a myth." Sean responded perfunctory in the same tongue. After Sean received two ruby encrusted knives he looked out over the city in the distance for Berkowski to have the same sinister smile on his face as he stood next to his boss. All the men around them shook as the saw the sinister smiles on the devil and his demon. Berkowski spoke after a moment, "let's paint this town red tonight" Sean nodded as the two walked to another empty truck.
