(Matthew's POV)
"I need positive updates by the time I get back."
Roman nods and turns to leave, probably going to help with the search.
There's still been no signs of the rogue after the incident and it's making me feel on edge.
I pick up my suit jacket and drape it over my arm before leaving my home office. It's already ten o'clock and I have a few things to take care of at the office plus one or two meetings with a new investor.
As I exit the building, I run into my mother who was making her way Into the building.
"My baby boy doesn't bother to check up on his mother anymore," she laments as she stops in front of me, arms akimbo.
"Oh mother, that's not true. I've been busy, that's all." I pull her into a hug, lifting her off her feet.
She giggles, causing me to laugh before I put her back on her feet.
"Oh you. I know how busy you are, especially with the rogue appearing behind your mate's home. Have you found a way to get them to move?" She asks.
