The Jiyuu clan and Ryuu's past (Part 1)

"I want to help you with your project !" Toori stated.

"Huh ?" Ryuu was dumfound, not only Toori knew about his project but she wanted to help him. "Why do you want to do that ?" he asked.

The girl stood up from the bed and walked slowly toward him.

"Your father has told me about what happened three years ago !" she stated.

Flash back

"What do you want my child ?" Ryuuga asked the black haired girl in front of him in the living room.

"Sorry to bother you mister, I just wanted to know more about Ryuu !" the girl replied.

"Why that ?" the man asked.

"Well, he helped me since we met at the hospital ! And I don't really know anything about him !" She began. "And I don't really understand why he is caring that much about me !"

Ryuuga took a sip of coffee.

"It's quite a long story but if you really want to know why he is caring that much about you then …"

"Please tell me !" Toori said with insistence.

...…

Three years ago,

Ryuu was shopping with his mother and Hakai.

They were heading home when black van stopped right in front of them, blocking their way while two other vehicles were preventing any escape from behind them.

As the lateral door of the van opened a shoot could be heard. The crowd that was there scatter.

Ryuu's eyes widened as he saw Hakai collapse on the ground while blood was flowing out of the wound on his abdomen.

Ryuu's brain couldn't even process what just happened that a masked man with a katana jumped out of the van and tried to slash him but Hakai struggled to protect him.

Hakai was struggling to stand between them with the arms extented as he received the blow.

The blade of the katana slashed his face and torso. The scar that we could see on his face came from that.

It was painful but Hakai didn't scream.

"As expected from the right arm of the Jiyuu clan leader ! A single bullet wasn't enough !" the man with the katana said.

Hakai couldn't reply, he was breathing heavily

"Who are you ?" Ryuu's mother asked angrily.

"None of your business !" the man replied in a moking tone.

Ryuu's mother was about to say something when another masked man appeared behind them and covered her mouth with a piece of cloth soaked with some soporific product.

She lost consciousness soon after that, she tried her best to fight back but it was no use.

They did the same thing to Ryuu, and then they took the mother and her son with them.

When Ryuu woke up, all he could see around him was a dark dirt room.

He was in a warehouse, he could see a group of three men guarding the place.

His mother was unconscious next to him, he tried to stand up to check her state but he soon noticed that he wasn't able to stand up, both of them were bound.

He was thinking of a way to get out when the door opened.

A black haired man entered the room, he was somehow resembling his father.

The man slowly went near them.

His eyes widened as he saw the man's face, it was his uncle, his father younger brother.

"Uncle Tora ? What is the meaning of this ?" Ryuu asked.

The only response he received was a kick in the ribs.

He coughed at the pain.

"Shut up brat !" the man said angrily.

Ryuu sent a stare full of anger at the man.

"What ?" the man asked. "Do you want more ?" he asked accompanied with another kick.

Ryuu struggled to prevent humself from screaming.

The man then went near Ryuu's mother and grabed her neck and lifted her in the air.

Ryuu grited his teeth at the sight of his mother behind harmed.

"Let…her…go !" he managed to say despite the pain.

His uncle just ignored him.

"I…told you to let her…GO !" Ryuu said while struggling to stand but he was still tied.

"I told you to shut up brat !" the man replied annoyed.

"If only my brother haven't been that stubborn, I wouldn't have to do this !" Tora said.

"W-what ?" Ryuu asked confused.

"There's no need for you to know !" the man replied him.

Ryuu tried his best to free himself, he didn't stop to move his tied arms to make the rope widen the spacing were his arms were trapped.

Tora took out a knife from his pocket.

Ryuu used all his strength to get free but it wasn't enough.

The rope was too tight.

As his uncle jabed the knife in his mother's chest, Ryuu used his quirk to remove the effect of the blade on her.

His uncle noticed that and threw the woman on the floor before heading toward the boy.

His mother was safe but now he was the one in danger.

'I must do something fast !' Ryuu thought.

He continued to move his tied arms.

When the man was about to stab him, he finally git rid of the rope, he then jumped and sent an uppercut at the man.

Tora was caught out of guard and received the blow. He waltzed a little as he was stepping back.

Ryuu quickly removed the rope that was retaining his legs.

He then rushed toward his mother.

As he checked her state, he saw that she was only unconscious. He sighed in relief.

He then quickly detached her and stood up.

As he turned toward his uncle, a bunch of men was around him, some pointing guns at him, others preparing their quirk and his uncle walked slowly toward him.

"Resisting is pointless, you know !" the man said.

Ryuu took a fighting stance.

"Kill him !" Tora ordered.

All the men jumped at Ryuu, one with an arm changed into a blade tried to stab him but with his quirk, Ryuu didn't received any damage, and he countered with a spinning kick at the man's face. The man was sent flying and crashed in the wall.

Another one tried to shoot him down but it was useless, with his quirk Ryuu was nearly untouchable.

All the bullet just fell on the ground without doing any damage.

Ryuu then made a rampage in the warehouse.

He took all the men out easily.

But when he thought that his uncle was the only one left, another group entered the room.

Tora laughed.

"Did you really think that that would be enough ?" he asked as he activated his quirk.

He turned into half-tiger half-human being.

His arms were covered of fur like those of a tige and his nails turned into claws, his eyes were identical to those of a tiger, he could see perferctly in the dark, his sense of smell was also enhanced.

His shirt was torn apart in his transformation.

He then jumped at Ryuu clawed him but it didn't do any damage.

It was then that all the men shot at him simultaneously. Ryuu was caugth out of guard, there was too much bullet.

The used his quirk to protect himself, he somehow managed to cancel the effect of all the bullet but his overuse of his quirk made him weak, he cought out blood as he fell on his knees.

'This is bad !' he thought as he saw his uncle getting nearer him.

"What a waste, with a quirk like yours, I would have done great things !" Tora stated."Farewell !"

Tora was about to claw him again when a female voice was heard in the room.

"Noooooo !"

It was Ryuu's mother, she jumped between them and was the one that took the blow.

"Huh ?" Tora was surprised.

As his mother was falling down on the dirty ground, tears were rolling down Ryuu's cheeks.

At that moment, something snapped inside Ryuu, all his consciousness disappeared.

He turned into a "Monster" !

He stood up and like a flash he killed all the men in the room apart from his uncle.

It was just like a flash, he took the katana one of the men and decapitated all of them.

He removed everything that could interfere in jis attack with his quirk.

There was blood spattering everywhere around, Ryuu was covered of blood when he turned toward his uncle.

As he saw that, Tora was frightened. He then rushed at the door, with his body enhanced he was fast and he was able to escape before being killed.

He then ran with all his might toward the city.

They were on the docks, the city was not really far from there.

Ryuu burst outbof the warehouse with a katana in the right hand.

He rushed after Tora leaving a blood trails behind him. Even if it was at night, it was still visible

As they were entering the city one family was walking home togather.

Tora hit them with his claws to push them out of his way.

The poor people were bleeding from the blow.

Ryuu passed there but didn't even noticed them, he was under the effect of his quirk, he was prevented from seeing anything useless.

He was just focused on his target.

Tora ran as fast as he could but he fell down in a dark alley, before he could even stand up, Ryuu was just behind him.

As he saw Ryuu's face, he felt a shiver rolling down his spine.

"Please spare my life " he begged.

But Ryuu couldn't even hear him, what was before him was just a concentration of total hatred.

As Ryuu rising the sword in the air, a man appeared from behind Tora, it was a shady man.

"What is going on ?" he asked.

Tora took the opportunity to escape but Ryuu jumped at the place where he was aiming in an instant.

Seeing that trying to escape was useless, he took the shady man as an hostage.

"Let me go or I'll kill him !" Tora threatened Ryuu.

What he didn't expect was that Ryuu would still attack him even with that, but before that Ryuu could attack, he was restrained by a long cloth.

"Huh ?" Tora was surprised and wondring who could have done that.

"Stop right there kid !" a man in black outfit and yellow goggles said.

It was Eraserhead.

"Tch ! A hero !" Tora stated annoyed.

Ryuu was still struggling trying to escape the cloth, but it was useless.

"And you let that man go !" the undrground hero said.

"No !" Tora replied. "I won't go to jail that easily !"

Before that Eraserhead could say anything, a voice could be heard from bebind Tora.

"This is enough ! Stop resisting !" a girl of the same age than Ryuu said.

"W-wha… what are you doing here ?" Tora asked.

...…

"And now my brother is in Tartarus !" Ryuuga stated.

"I see !" Toori said. "I think that I know why he is caring that much about a stranger like me !"

"You aren't a stranger for us you know ?! It's been a while since everyone have accepted you !" Ryuuga stated.

"That's kind of you saying that !" she said with a big smile.

"…and I want to help you !" Toori said.

Ryuu was thinking of what to do.

Accepting her would be dangerous for her, but not accepting would be like refuting her will.

'What should I do ?' he asked himself.

After a while he took his decision.

"All right, I accept your help but there would be some conditions !" He stated.

Toori smiled when she heard these words.

"I'll do my best to help you !" she said.
