Hostage

A friday, Ryuu was in his room doing his homework on history.

It took him two hours to finish all of it, then he went downstairs, he went in the kitchen to make some tea. But once he was there, the tea box was empty.

He sighed and went back in his room.

He then got changed.

'I should have checked before !'

He wearing black pants with a white shirt and black shoes.

He went downstairs again and left the main building. As he was going toward the gate, he was stopped by his father.

"Where are you going ?" Ryuuga asked.

"Buying tea ?" Ryuuji simply replied.

"Then bring me some coffee as well !" the father said.

"Okay !" he replied as he took his leave.

He went in a mall and took two pack of tea and two pack of coffee, and went at the cash register and paid before leaving.

On his way back home, he stopped after smelling a good smell of tea.

He followed the smell and end out at a cafe.

He was some kind of tea fan, he could recognize a good tea only by it smell.

He then went inside to check.

As stepped inside he saw a warm environment, everyone inside was smiling and the place was almost full.

'Good ! If the place is that popular then, the tea must be as good as I expect !' he thought as he took a seat on a free table.

Just after he was seated a gentle waitress was already there to take his order.

"What could we serve you out sir ?" the woman in pink uniform politely asked him.

"Well, could you please serve me the best tea you have ?" he said.

"Yes of course !" she replied with a big smile.

Then she went at the counter and waited for as the tea was being prepared.

After that she went back at Ryuu's table and put the cup of tea in front of him.

"Thank you very much !" He thanked the woman.

The woman smiled and went back at her work.

Ryuu then took his cup and took a sip of tea.

He felt that that tea was the best tea that he has ever given to drink.

'I feel like I am in heaven !' he thought.

The tea was really good, or at least good enough to make a tea fanatic like Ryuu to feel that good.

After he finished his tea he ordered another cup with some cake, he was wanting to try the cake that was served in the cafe.

It was very good as well, he was really enjoying the taste of the tea and the cake.

Then the waitress came near him with an embarrassed face.

Ryuu was wondering if he had done something strange.

"Is there a problem ?" he asked her calmly.

"Well, no, but all the tables are full and there is another customer and I was wondering if it won't bother you to share your table !" she said with the same embarassed face.

'Oh it's only that ?!' he thought.

"No problem I am fine with it !" Ryuu replied her with smile.

"Thank you very much sir !" she replied as she bowed.

She then went at the counter to take the said customer and went back at Ryuu's table with him.

It was a young boy just like Ryuu, he looked like someone really tired with the huge dark circle under his eyes, his hairs were purple and he looked somehow bored.

He sat and greeted Ryuu.

"Hi !" the boy said in a low tone.

"Hi !" Ryuu replied calmly.

While the boy was waiting his order, there was silence until Ryuu spoke.

"I am Ryuuji Jiyuu, nice to meet you !" he stated.

Yes Ryuuji wasn't the sociable type but he was kind of interest by the boy, from his look, Ryuu thought that the boy was some kind of a bullied guy.

The boy hesitated a little before replying.

"Hum…Hitoshi Shinsou, nice to meet you too !" he replied in a still low tone.

"Do you come here often ?" Ryuu asked.

"Not really, I was just felt like trying and see if it was good !" the purple haired boy replied.

"I see, just like me then!" Ryuu said with a smile.

'Good, he began to talk with me, let's slowly get to the point !' he thought.

"You look tired, do you feel well ?" Ryuu asked trying not to be too invading.

"Ah… It's nothing !" the boy replied looking down.

'He looked to be someone that need help, I want to help those that the heroes can't help or can't see as someone that need help !' Ryuu thought.

'Let's get to the point then, seems like the door is open now, I must just get inside !' he thought.

"Are you bullied ?" Ryuu asked calmly.

Hitoshi didn't say anything for moment before talking again.

"It can't be considered as bullying !" he said.

'Then it something of the same kind right ?!' Ryuu thought after Hitoshi's response.

"So what is it ?" Ryuu asked. "You know I won't judge, you can talk about it with me !".

Hitoshi was still hesitating a little before taking a deep breath and talked.

"Well it's not a big deal, everyone is just avoiding me and call me the villain !" he stated blankly.

'Villain ?'

"Why ?" Ryuu asked him a little confused.

"Well, it's my quirk, they said that it was a quirk for villains !" he replied.

"And what is your quirk ?" Ryuu asked trying to find the reason why his quirk was considered as a villain quirk.

Hitoshi stayed silent for a minute.

At that moment Hitoshi's order was arrived.

After a little silent moment, Hitoshi took a sip of coffee and talked.

"Brainwash !" he stated.

"Huh?"

Ryuu was surprised, Brainwash, that was a good quirk, then why was him teated like that ?

'Those that think that it's a villain quirk are those that think like villains !' he thought.

"So what ?" Ryuu asked. "It's good quirk, and believe me, those that think of it as a villain quirk are those that are more villainous !"

Hitoshi was dumbfounded, he was expecting Ryuu to react like everyone, and treat him like a villain.

"Your quirk can be useful for society, a hero that have a quirk like yours would be able to save many people !" Ryuu added.

Hitoshi was speechless for a moment before smiling a little and said,

"I was planning to go at UA to become a hero and show them that my quirk wasn't what make me who I am !" he said. "I was about to give up you know ! But after seeing that someone like you that won't judge me as villain because of my quirk still exist, I won't !"

His eyes were full of determination while he said these words, the scene made Ryuu smile a little.

'Good, I was able to help him a little !' he thought.

"That's a good idea, no one can say that you are something that you aren't as long as you keep your determination !"

Hitoshi seemed happy at hearing these words.

"You're nice guy, you know ?!" Hitoshi stated.

"Well I try to help those in need, that's all !" Ryuu simply replied.

"Would you want to become my friend ?" Hitoshi asked him.

'Friend, huh ? That would be fun to have a friend after all !' Ryuu thought.

"Why not ?" he replied with a smile.

After that the continued to talk.

When they were finished, it was late, they then went at the counter to pay before leaving.

But as they were paying, a man with hoodie entered in the cafe and took a gun out of his pocket.

"EVERYONE ON THE FLOOR !" he shouted as he shot at the ceiling.

Everyone in the cafe apart of Ryuu and Hitoshi was in panic, and did as he said.

He then pointed the gun at Ryuu who was still standing with a bored expression.

"Hey you, I said ON THE FLOOR !" the man shouted.

Hitoshi was about to say something when the man pointed the gun at him and said,

"You as well on the floor and stay quiet if you don't want to die !" angrily.

Hitoshi did as the man said no wanting anyone to be killed if he was to do something reckless.

Ryuu did the same thing.

Once they were face against the floor, the man stomped on Ryuu's head, because of what Ryuu's head was bleeding and said,

"Next time, don't make me repeat and just do as I said !" angrily.

After that he went at the counter and told the responsible to give all the money in the coffer.

'That man must be often passing in this area to know that it is at this time that the cafe as this much customers !' Ryuu analyzed the situation.

Hitoshi was worried about his bleeding friend.

The responsible was hesitating so the man grabed the waitress by the wrist and pointed the gun at her head.

"Don't mess up with me or I'll kill all of you !" the man said in a threatening.

Hitoshi grited his teeth for not being able to do anything.

'He has gone too far !' Ryuu thought as the anger was rising inside him.

Then he stood up slowly.

The man pointed his gun at the responsible once again and said with anger,

"Now open the coffer or I'll…", it was then that he noticed that Ryuu was standing sending a threatening gaze at him.

"Hey you, go back face against the floor or…" he said before being cut by Ryuu.

"Or what ?" Ryuu asked with threatening voice.

The man began to feel fear and pointed the gun at Ryuu.

"Obey, or you'll die !" the man shouted.

But Ryuu stepped forward toward him and the waitress.

"Ryuuji !" Hitoshi called from his place.

"I told to obey !" the man shouted as he shot at Ryuu.

The sound of detonation resounded in the room.

Everyone in the room had their eyes closed covered their ears at the sound of the gun, some parents were covering their children's eyes not wanting them to get traumatized by the sight of someone being killed in front of them.

But when they opened their eyes, at everyone's surprise, Ryuu was still standing and hadn't any injury, his face only showing bordom and anger.

"What ?" the man shouted, he was surprised, he shot at Ryuu and he was sure that he didn't miss.

"What's wrong ?" Ryuu asked him in a mocking tone as he stepped forward.

The man in panic shot again, and it was the same result, no damage.

He shot again, again, again,… but he couldn't even scratch the boy.

After some shot he was out of bullet.

'Exactly what I wanted !' Ryuu thought.

While he was reloading, the man let the waitress go.

"Shit! Who the hell are you ?" he shouted as he was reloading.

But Ryuu didn't let him the time as he propeled toward the man while he was busy at reloading and sent a punch on his face, the strength of the blow sent the man on the floor.

Everyone in the room was astonished, the young boy was able to beat the guy.

"I am just someone that can't let you do as you wish !" Ryuu said as a reply the man's question.

"Waouh ! How did you do that ?" Hitoshi asked as he rushed toward his friend checking his state.

"Are you sure that you're alright, he shot at you at least 4 times !" he said with a worried face.

"No 6 times, but yeah I am fine !" Ryuu replied jokingly.

But it wasn't finished, the man stood up and grunted at the pain he felt on his jaw.

"You little brat will pay for that !" he shouted while his hand began to burn.

'A fire quirk ?' Ryuu asked himself as he turned toward the man.

"Die !" the man shouted as he sent a punch at Ryuu's chest.

Ryuu reacted in time an pushed Hitoshi aside so he wouldn't be touched by the fire fist.

As the punch hit Ryuu, the man grined and said proudly,

"That will serve as a lesson for all of you ! Next time obey without complaining !"

But Ryuu was fine, neither him or even his clothes were affected by the flames.

"Impossible !" the man stated as he realized that his attack wasn't working.

Ryuu sighed and punched the man with even more strength than his first blow.

This time, the man was knocked out.

'Boring !' Ryuu thought, the guy wasn't neither smart or stronger plus he has gone too far by taking hostage.

Then a voice was heard from the outside.

"Here is the police, release the hostages immediatly !" a police officer shouted in a megaphone.

"Well, they are late !" Ryuu said with a smile.
