Rose Wyatt, a seemingly ordinary personal secretary to the enigmatic CEO of Walden Group, Asher Walden, hides a dark secret. As a witch, she has carefully woven her life into the human world, concealing her true nature. All hell breaks loose when she starts having feelings for Asher. With a dangerous enemy lurking in the shadows and love rivals vying for Asher's attention, Rose's magical powers become increasingly erratic. The risk of exposure is higher than ever, and her growing affection for Asher complicates matters further. Can Rose balance her secret identity with her budding feelings for the man she loves, or will her magical abilities ultimately tear them apart?
Asher was so shaken that he was absent-minded the whole drive. But by the time they reached the office, he was fine.
Rose wanted to ask him. She glanced at him multiple times and he was bound to notice it.
"Rose, if I lived so many years without seeing a ghost, there's no need to worry that I'm going to start seeing them now, right?"
That made sense.
"Yes, Asher. Humans can't see ghosts. Even in Magically Gifted people, only a few see ghosts. So you don't have to worry."
Asher was visibly relaxed now.
"Thank God. Out of sight, out of mind."
It was surprisingly true. If you keep thinking that you want to see paranormal beings, chances are you might see one. They are attenuated to such thought frequencies.
They may be curious about you but you will be scared after seeing them.
Rose left Asher to his thoughts. He had recovered from his stupor and that relieved her from excessive worries.
