Meeting the Principal
"Please wait here, I will call the higher-ups to let them know that you have arrived." The guard said, he then took one final look at Mio before leaving. Luckily, the Guard was not out for a very long time and it only took him a few minutes as he only needed to go to his post and talk through a communication stone.
A lot of inventions and things have been made since the coming of the System into the World. Everything that seemed to be impossible in the past was all now possible.
"They have now permitted you to enter the Academy, please follow the rules. If we ever see you not abiding by the rules then we have the right to kill you. I'm sure you already know, there are all the rules that visitors must follow. Because you are not yet a part of the Academy, you are counted as a visitor/guest." The Guard reminded her, he then opened the Gate and soon the two Giant gates moved and opened.
Mio then leisurely walks inside while following the path that she has been told by the Guard. But as she was walking, she could already hear the classes that were being held outside. Mio then thought of one thing, they are doing a practical test since she can hear some Magic that was being fired.
"Interesting looks like that woman was not all talk. The teachers here are very knowledgeable, well at least it's enough to teach these kids." Mio commented as she saw how they practice. But suddenly a shocking thing has happened, one of the students suddenly loses control of his powers causing it to go berserk. He then had no choice but to fire the attack as he couldn't control it to go back.
"AHHH!" A woman cried out as she saw a bolt of lightning coming towards her way, sighing lightly, Mio then flicked her fingers and annihilated the attack with one flick from her finger. After seeing that the woman was safe, Mio continued her way, but what she didn't know was that a few people saw what she did.
"Are you okay!?" The man that accidentally shot his attack
"Strong…" All of the people that saw muttered, but as soon as those words came out. Mio heard their words and found that it would be troublesome if people knew that she was the one who saved the woman from danger. So she then cast another spell that made them forget what they just saw, she didn't want other people to know her real identity.
"That was a long walk, at last, I'm finally here." Mio sighed as she was now in front of the Principals Offices, another person was waiting for her. Judging from the clothes that she was wearing, Mio can already tell that she was the secretary of that woman.
"Are you the new teacher that wants to apply here?" The man asked as she then looked at Mio's body, but he was shocked that he can't feel any power coming out of Mio's body at all. Normally everyone that is born in this world would have a System, and this would help them get stronger. So the aura that they are releasing is very strong, and the stronger the person is the stronger that aura is.
But people can also hide that aura, but you would have to be very strong to be able to hide the Aura that your body is naturally releasing. But because only a few people could do this, the man immediately suspected Mio was a weak woman.
"Please come in. The Principal is already waiting for you inside." The man invited Mio inside, he still needed to be polite as if now he would be the reason that the Great Academy would have a bad reputation.
"Master Alice, the new applicant that wants to be a teacher is here." The man said, soon the woman behind the desk looked up and saw Mio who walked calmly. But what catches her eye is the mask that the woman is wearing, for some reason, it was familiar to her.
