Problems At The Dojo (2)

As Michael took the wooden bat from one of the goons, Auralia exclaimed, "Can you really afford paying for property damage?"

Michael paused for a second, glaring at Auralia. He then lifted the bat, pointing it at Auralia. "You think property damage is going to hurt me. You should be worried about getting a kidnapping charge."

"I think the court will be understanding considering I'm keeping the girl away from a bunch of traffickers." Auralia muttered back. "I do worry about how the boss will feel about you exposing his dirty business."

Michael smirked, bring the bat down to his side. "You don't have to worry about that. The girl's only going to work as host. Until she pays daddy's tab. Ain't that right Robert?"

The middle aged man banging on the door turned to look at Michael. "Yes sir…"

"See…" Michael murmured bending down to a whispering level. "So, stop interfering with other's business."

"How much?" Auralia asked, glaring at Michael.

She could take care of the goons quickly if they were just here for the money. No need to use violence to solve the problem. Well, expect for when she was going to deal with Emily's father.

He was going to get his ass beaten for trying to ruin his daughter's future again.

Michael straightened up in confusion. "How much?"

"The debt you idiot. How much is it?" Auralia rolled her eyes. "What do you think I'm talking about?"

"The debt! Haha! You think you can pay 10 million?" Michael laughed. "Your dojo is one payment away from closing down. The only way you can even dream of paying that off is if you become a host yourself."

Michael looked Auralia up and down. "Of course, I don't think the boss will have a problem with that. You'll probably bring in more customers than that girl."

Auralia felt a wave a disgust go through her. Michael seemed to have become worst since during the loan sharks.

"I can pay." Auralia spat out as she pulled her phone out from her back pocket. "You know what…I'll pay double if you keep Robert out the gambling houses."

There was only one gang in the area that ran all the illegal gambling houses. At least from what Auralia could remember. It had been a while since she'd been in the same circles as the thugs in the area.

"You must be joking! You're going to pay 20 million?" Michael laughed. "Did you get yourself a sugar daddy or something?"

"No…Just learnt my father kept a trust fund for me." Auralia muttered.

It wasn't the complete true but Michael didn't need to know that she was from a wealthy family. It would cause her more problems.

"Now call your boss up and see if he'll agree to my proposal." Auralia ordered.

Michael huffed but pulled out his phone. "Hey boss…Someone wants to talk to you about Robert's debt….Yeah…Here."

Michael handed his phone to Auralia. "The boss wants to talk to you."

Auralia nodded in understanding and took the phone. "Hello."

"Hello Auralia…I heard you wanted to talk to me about the debt." A deep voice sounded through the phone.

"Yeah…Cut off Robert and I'll pay double the debt." Auralia explained simply.

"Haha! You think you can afford that." The voice chuckled. "How do you plan on paying that amount? You're not thinking about becoming a host for me?"

"No and don't worry about the money…All you need to know is that I'll pay the full amount today." Auralia said. "You just need to make sure Robert never takes a loan from you…You know what I'll pay the amount under the condition you or your gang doesn't touch Emily. I couldn't care less what happens to that man."

"Hmmm…I guess I could deal with that…The girl wouldn't be worth much anyway. Alright give the phone back to Michael and make sure I get that money."

Auralia bit her lip from retorting and handed the phone back. Michael spoke with his boss for a few seconds before putting it away. He looked at Auralia.

"Where's the money?"

"Be patient." Auralia opened her phone. "I still have to get it for you…Come back later will you? The money will be here."

"Haha! You think I'm going to be that easily convinced." Michael exclaimed. "You may have gotten the boss to agree to your plan but don't think I know you're trying to pull a fast one-"

Michael stopped speaking as he looked at Auralia's phone. She had gotten annoyed with his chatter and had decided to show him that she had the money.

"See…" Auralia said, pointing at the screen. "It's more than enough. It's just going to take time to get all the money. Unless you want to do a money transfer?"

"No…Cash is better." Michael sighed. "Anyway, we'll be back in three hours time. You better have the money by then."

"Sure sure. Now move along…I have business to take care of." Auralia waved them away as she closed her phone.

Her uncle was probably going to wonder why she suddenly needed 20 million in cash. She was going to have to think of some excuse.

"Alright boys! Let's get moving!" Michael called out to his lackeys.

Auralia watched as they walked away, suddenly grabbing Robert's shoulder as he quietly tried to escape with them.

"Not so fast!" Auralia exclaimed, glaring angrily at the old man. "You and I have some unfinished business."
