A few hours later. Lin Xiaofei, who went back to her maternal family and took some of her things back to the Qu residence, arrived to see Qu Xing Xu sitting with a blank look on his face. He was alone, and the snacks and teapot on the side of the table have gone cold already, indicating that he has been at home since earlier.

Lin Xiaofei took off her outer robe and sat across him. 

Seeing a complicated expression on his face as he looked back at her, Lin Xiaofei knew that there could be something that he wanted to tell her. It was probably what she and her grandfather talked about when she met him earlier.

She waited for him for a long time, but still, Qu Xing Xu kept his mouth shut as if he had a hard time opening them and saying whatever he wanted to tell her.

And so, she decided to start the conversation. She pulled her hair down and said, "Do you have something to tell me?"
