Bar fight

"Isaac Blaze! I shall never give up until I defeat you!" Ariston said as he slammed the door of the tavern open. He had a wide smile plastered on his face as he was holding onto his abdomen while a narrow trail of blood was leaking from his mouth.

"Ah, shit. Here we go again." Blaze calmly whispered to himself before he slammed the tankard on the counter and walked towards Ariston again.

Blaze stood in the middle of the tavern and glared at Ariston, "Listen, kid. You had my attention at first, but now I am pissed off. You disturbed the peace in my bar, drew your weapon against me, and tried to physically assault me many times. I will give you one last chance to tell me where the wizards are, or to just walk away." Blaze said in an irritated voice as he cracked his knuckles.

Ariston struggled to walk towards Blaze, using chairs, tables, and people's shoulders to try and pillar himself towards Blaze. "I-...am Ariston Jagger-...and I won't stop-...until I capture you, Isaac Blaze. I will succeed in my mission, become stronger, climb my way up, and become-...The supreme holy knight of Lebenvelt." Ariston struggled to talk as he took deep breaths between each sentence, yet he still managed to talk in a confident and motivated voice as he smiled at Blaze.

"Oh-...really? Well then, tell me how you will do it?" Blaze asked in a nonchalant voice as he narrowed his eyes and stared at Ariston.

Ariston kept smiling as he reached for his pocket. Suddenly, he swiftly pulled out a glass bottle that contained a purple liquid and stretched his arm behind him, as if he was keeping it away from Blaze.

"You will come with me or I will drop this bottle of poison on the floor and-" Before Ariston finished his threat, Blaze removed his right glove and extended his arm towards the bottle of poison. A dark flame combusted from Blaze's right hand, creating a small sphere of fire that he shot at the lower side of the bottle and burnt the liquid into nothingness.

"You were saying?" Blaze said as he looked at Ariston, the latter was staring at the bottle of poising with a shocked expression.

As soon as Ariston turned to look at Blaze, the latter delivered a powerful uppercut right to Ariston's stomach, making him jump upwards and impact the ceiling before slamming the wooden floor.

Ariston struggled to stand up before he dropped down to his knees as he coughed loudly and intensely. He was gripping onto his abdomen from the excruciating pain he felt in it.

Before Ariston could lock eyes with Blaze, the latter delivered a devastating kick right to his face, knocking multiple teeth out of his mouth and making him bleed from it. Ariston collapsed to the ground and started groaning from the pain as he gripped tightly onto his mouth.

Blaze walked towards Ariston and stomped on his chest before he delivered another kick to his mouth, bruising his left eye and making him spit a lot of blood. Blaze gripped onto Ariston's shirt collar and pulled him upwards, lifting him until his feet detached from the floor.

"One last chance. Where are the wizards?" Blaze said in a dead-cold voice as he glared at Ariston with a deadpan expression.

Ariston spat a little bit of blood on the floor before he locked eyes with Blaze and gave him the same smile he had when he entered the tavern. "I-...Can't." He stated in a quiet voice as he kept the same smile.

Blaze reacted on impulse and threw Ariston towards one of the tavern's walls, slamming him very hard and making him vomit a mixture of digested food and blood as he collapsed on the wooden ground. Ariston was breathing heavily as he was releasing a bunch of barely audible groans of pain.

Blaze slowly walked towards Ariston before he removed his right glove and extended his arm towards him. A sphere of dark fire was forming on the palm of his hand, slowly taking shape as he glared at Ariston lying down on the floor, he had a stream of tears running down his cheeks, yet he still maintained his cheery smile as he stared at Blaze.

Blaze clenched his fist and made the sphere of dark flame forming on his hand disappear. He wore his glove again and glared at Ariston with an angry expression, then raised his fist in the air and tried to deliver a powerful punch to the half-conscious Ariston lying on the floor.

Suddenly, a woman with dark skin, grey hair, grey tail, grey wolf ears, and sharp teeth leaped towards Blaze and tried to use her claws to scratch him, but the latter easily dodged the attack and delivered an uppercut to her abdomen.

At the same time, a petite woman wearing mage clothes with a long purple hear, carrying a grimoire, was aiming her right hand at Blaze as a sphere of yellow energy was forming on the palm of her hand. She shot a wave of yellow energy at Blaze, which he easily dodged by tilting his head to the side.

At the same time, a muscular teenager with blond hair and blue eyes dashed towards Blaze. He transformed his right arm into stone and tried to deliver a right hook to Blaze's face, but the latter ducked under it and watched the arm safely pass over his head before he delivered a roundhouse kick to the teenager's side.

Blaze turned his attention towards the petite woman, just to be surprised by a young man with orange hair dashing towards him with a sword that is entirely made out of flames.

The young man tried to slash Blaze across his torso, but the latter quickly removed his glove and grabbed the flame sword with his bare hands. Suddenly, dark flames consumed the entire sword and reduced it to nothing.

The young man looked at Blaze in shock before the latter delivered a powerful kick to his chest, throwing him towards the wooden wall of the tavern.

One of the teenagers was wearing a brown hooded cloak that made his facial feature unrecognizable. He took a few steps towards Blaze before he knelt down on the floor, touched the wood with the palm of his hand, and created a big wooden spear from the floor.

The entire tavern was in absolute shock as they stared at the cloaked figure while Blaze had a look of curiosity and interest.

"An alchemist?" Blaze asked as he raised his eyebrow.

"Why did you do that? You knew that the poison wasn't real." The cloaked figure calmly said as he held the spear close to him, not daring to aim it at Blaze.

"Of course I did, the color of the liquid wasn't the exact pure one of the poison. But..." Blaze said in a nonchalant voice before he shifted his glare at Ariston, "The kid needed some discipline. Coming into a tavern, threatening the owner, trying to physically assault him many times, and disturbing the peace are all crimes that the royal knights will punish you with by either starvation until discipline or death. I think taking a light beating doesn't compare to that." He said in an irritated voice.

"Well then, I demand you to please hand Ariston back to us, or I will have no choice but to fight you." The alchemist said as he took a stance and aimed his spear at Blaze.

"Ain't no chance in hell. You all deserve some discipline, all six of you." Blaze said as he glared at the alchemist with wide eyes.

Blaze and the alchemist glared at each other intensely. Suddenly, the two dashed towards each other, ready to fight.

"Father!" a young feminine voice shouted so loud it caught the attention of the entire tavern, including Blaze and the alchemist.

Blaze held his head down and released a deep sigh, "God fucking dammit." he whispered to himself before he turned around and faced the young woman. "Mia! I told you to not call me that while I'm here for fuck's sake!" Blaze shouted in anger and frustration as he eyed Mia.

"Father! That is enough! Stop having these drunk fights every single fucking time someone comes up to you!" Mia shouted as she slammed her fist on the counter in an outrage.

"It's for the safety of the tavern, the customers, and most importantly you! You idiot!" Blaze yelled as he pulled his hair in frustration.

"Then why do you make these fights so long! You could easily defeat them without even harming them you shitty drunkard!" Mia screamed in anger as she slammed her fist again.

"Enough! Go back to your room right now, or I will never let you take the mage test-" Before Blaze could continue his sentence and enforce his authority, the purple-haired mage came up behind him and gently touched the back of his head.

"Sleep." she whispered into his ear before he collapsed to the floor, unconscious.

"Lilith, Dimitri, pick up Ariston and Ace, quickly!" The alchemist ordered the demi-human girl and the blond man, which they both replied to by a nod of their hands before rushing towards Ariston and the orange-haired teenager.

After picking up their fallen comrades, the entire team rushed towards the mage's side before she opened her grimoire as a blue light was engulfing it. Suddenly, the entirety of the team and Blaze vanished into thin air.

The tavern was shocked to the core.

------

On a grassy landscape, precisely under a tree, the scarlet imps teleported to the location by using the purple-haired mage's magic.

The alchemist, who was carrying Blaze on his shoulder, walked towards the tree and gently placed Blaze's unconscious body on the ground.

The mage took a deep breath before she released a deep sigh, "I thought we were goners. Thank God that girl came in at the perfect time. So, what should we do right now, Fritz?" The mage said as she breathed heavily.

The alchemist removed the hod from his head, revealing a dark brown hair and hazel eyes, "We should heal Ariston and Ace right now. After that, let's take a moment to rest under the tree until the sun sets. Please heal Ariston first, Chiva." Fritz said in a gentle and calm voice as he gazed at Chiva, then at Ariston.

The scarlet imps have succeeded in their mission.
