"It would probably be best if you stayed in front of me while we're traveling," Macro responded hesitantly as he held his hands up defensively before continuing, "don't stray too far ahead of me until we're safely out of the city."

"Okay... but we can't stay here forever..."

She paused momentarily as she considered this before deciding to ignore him. Instead, she ran to catch up with him as fast as possible without breaking into a full sprint. She wanted desperately to be gone from this location, but there didn't appear to be anywhere that she could escape to right now. She needed to move faster than this, but there didn't seem to be any obvious escape route available. Eventually, the two of them found their way to the nearest parking lot, where Jess caught up with him just long enough to grab hold of his arm as she exclaimed in alarm, "Macro! Look over there!"
