Madison smiled knowingly and looked lovingly at him for several seconds...until Blake finally relented, telling her that he was starving and would be glad to grab something quickly for them both. She gave him a kiss on his cheek, grabbed his hand, and thanked him for indulging her wish so that she could enjoy a small treat on her special day before they completed their shopping. As long as they were there already, he figured that it would be better to get what he needed so that they could finish up and return home in time to celebrate their anniversary properly with dinner, cake, and champagne.
