Chapter 145

Yvonne's hands trembled as she stared at the document in front of her. It was a paternity test result. She opened the document fully to see who the paternity test was for. To her surprise, it was her daughter and Javier. 

Her heart pounded in her chest as she read and reread the words. How could Javier take a paternity test for her daughter, Alisa, without her knowledge? But what made him suspicious of her in the first place? 

She had done everything right, but she still couldn't get away from his eagle eyes. What should she do? How could she be so foolish to not recognize that all the questions he had been asking her had been about her life? 

Was it that time he was suspicious? Yvonne's leg was shaking. 

Did he know about the results of it? She needs to do something fast before her hard-earned work is thrown off. 

Then her mind went to Ezra. She called Ezra as she paced about.
