Father's Sadness

"Wow! Did you already master Sage Mode? Does that mean you met Master Jiraya?" Minato excitedly asked.

Others were also surprised by the fact that a twelve years old kid was able to master Sage Mode which none of them except Minato had mastered.

Naruto nodded and said.

"Because my opponent for the third stage of the Chunin Exam was Menma, I knew that I had to get stronger. And, I didn't want to rely too much on Nine Tails' power."

"So, Mr. Kakashi suggested that I could train with Pervy Sage and learn Sage Mode. It was extremely hard. I almost couldn't finish it within a month."

When he said that, everyone's expression twitched including Minato.

He felt that his son was pretending but he couldn't complain.

"By the way Naruto, you told me that you met my Chakra Avatar that I have kept inside the seal. But, you don't seem to have any reason to go wild with Nine Tails' power. Why did that happen?"

Minato asked curiously.

Naruto rubbed the back of his head with a silly smile on his face.

"Actually, that was my fault. Normally, I use Nine Tails's power with Hinata next to me. I don't know why but she can release powerful suppression from her Byakugan and suppress Nine Tails' chakra."

"It helped me resist the evil emotion inside Evil Tails's chakra. So, I can use up to five tails with Hinata by my side. I almost forgot that she wasn't together with me when I was training with Pervy Sage."

"So, I accidentally used Five Tails Chakra Mode which caused me to lose my mind in darkness and more and more tails erupted. I was trying to suppress Nine Tails' chakra and it was trying to release more."

"Thankfully, during that situation, no one died but Pervy Sage did get injured severely. And, when the eighth tail appeared, you also appeared inside me and told me that you were my father."

"After that, I punched you."

When Naruto said that, Minato's lips twitched.

"Hahaha! You got punched by your son." Izuna bursts into laughter as he pointed his finger at Minato.

Minato's expression became darker. Izuna only stopped when Madara coughed and made him realize that everyone was looking at him.

"Dad, that's why I don't want to save Third Hokage."

Naruto's mood got low as he spoke.

"The entire village only saw me as Jinchurki and demon fox who killed the Fourth Hokage and he didn't even explain it to the villagers. I am not a smart person nor do I want to be."

"So, I don't know or care why he did that. But, he must die. My best friend's dream is to end all wars and end the era of Ninjas."

Hearing his words, everyone had different reactions.

"Humph! Then, your best friend is foolish. The war will never stop." Madara snorted.

"Naruto, although your friend is amazing, this kind of dream is not possible. The era of Ninja won't end." Minato was also in disbelief.

Although Izuna and Sakumo didn't speak, they did have similar opinions.

Naruto didn't care about their words. He had complete faith in Menma. He simply stated.

"Then, you just watch."

After that, Minato asked about Naruto's life and Naruto simply told him everything that he needed to know.

A few minutes later, the souls of First Hokage and Second Hokage also appeared.

"What happened? Where did you go?" Naruto curiously asked as soon as they appeared.

"We were brought out by a ninja called Orochimaru and later got sealed by Sarotobi with Reaper Death Seal." Second Hokage answered with a cold tone.

"Although I was hesitant to believe you, it was true. Senju Clan and Uchiha Clan are all gone."

First Hokage's tone was full of sadness.

Hearing his voice, others didn't speak except for Madara.

"I told you, Hashirama. When you killed me for the sake of the village, I told you that it will be your worst decision. To do anything for the village is the Will of Fire that you passed down."

"This guy's disciple did a great job taking it literally."

Hearing his words, Hashirama felt even more hurt. He lowered his head in sadness that even Tobirama didn't know what to say about.

Only Naruto who was always positive raised his thumb and said.

"Don't worry, First Hokage! After this, I will go with Pervy Sage and bring back Granny Tsunade to the village. She will definitely make Konoha better with my best friend."

"Tsuna!" First Hokage slowly became a little hopeful upon hearing that name.

"So, just watch!" Naruto smiled and his consciousness slowly disappeared from that space.

Tobirama looked at Minato and said.

"Fourth Hokage, you have given birth to an amazing child."

Hearing his praise, Minato rubbed the back of his head with a smile.

On the other hand, Naruto woke up and his consciousness returned to his body. He found himself staring at Hinata's close-up face.

Soon, he found Hinata's face turning red as their eyes gazed at each other.

Naruto quickly raised his head, only to imprint his lips on hers in mistake. Their expression quickly turned red like a tomato.

"Sorry, Hinata!"

Naruto quickly released his mouth and apologized with a red face.

"It's okay." Hinata spoke in a low voice and pulled back her face.

Suddenly, Naruto felt a powerful murderous aura coming from behind. He looked and saw Hyuga Hashi staring at him with Byakugan.

He shivered and looked around, only to see Kakashi, Might Guy, Kurenai, and other genins with other people surrounding them.

"What happened, Naruto? You seemed unconscious for a long time." Menma walked in front of him and asked with a confused expression.

He told Naruto to stay out of battle after defeating Gaara. He didn't expect Naruto to simply take it that far.

"Sorry, I overused my Chakra and fell unconscious."

Just when Naruto tried to speak about the stunning thing that happened to him, he got reminded in his mind that if he speaks about the system, he would die.

And, he certainly didn't want to die. So, he had no choice but to lie to his best friend.

Menma noticed something strange with Naruto but he didn't think too much about it. He simply nodded and said.

"Since you are awake, you should go to your Apartment and take some rest. By the way, can you call Jiraya Sama? I have something to talk to him."

Naruto nodded and performed a summoning Jutsu.

A small toad appeared in front of him.

"Gamakichi, can you tell Pervy Sage to return to Konoha?"

"Alright, brother!"

Gamakichi gave him a toad thumbs up and disappeared with a puff of cloud.

After that, Naruto returned to his apartment where he noticed some strange gazes from the people.

There were emotions like admiration and fear into their gazes but there was also some hatred.

Those people who were inside his consciousness or system space could see it clearly.

Minato clenched his hand. He was saddened and angered by the look of the people he saved.

Madara and Izuna didn't care about his mood but Sakumo, Hashirama, and Tobirama were trying to calm Minato.

But, Minato who was already very smart could easily figure out what kind of life Naruto had lived.

He couldn't help but remember the life that his wife lived. That was harsh. It was a harsh life to live but she at least had people that loved her.

Uzumaki Mito and him. Not to mention, she also made some friends like Mikoto Uchiha.

Her life was not bad for Jinchuriki. But that's because the people hadn't seen the power of Nine Tails.

They didn't have any hatred against Nine Tails.

But, Naruto was different. He was not only a Jinchuriki of Nine Tails but also became one when the Nine Tails almost destroyed the Konoha and took the lives of several people.

More importantly, from Naruto's conversation he knew that Naruto didn't know about his identity until he met the Chakra he left inside Naruto.

At this moment, Minato couldn't help but remember his wife who told him not to make their son Jinchuriki.

Of course, one of the main reason why he did that was to keep his son safe. But, this move of his led to his son not only being outcast as a Jinchuriki but also hated, disgusted and feared by the entire village.

He couldn't even imagine how his son lived his life.

He controlled his tears and apologized.

'Sorry Kushina, I am really not a good father. If only I had lived for my son, this wouldn't have happened. Our son would've lived a happy life.'

'I'm really sorry, Kushina.'

Although he said that, two drops of tears fell down his eyes.
