CHAPTER 3

I was quite happy to gain mana rotation and mirage walk, golems even thunderclap impulse, but most of the things I learned cannot be practiced in combat, and my growth is limited by the lack of talent since I was never the person to fight, I was just a weeb after all.

The next day, I made the clones underground train the same training I was receiving, so that would help me get stronger real quick.

Not practicing sparring only, but They were also practicing,  all of the other skills that I had obtained in these years.

Compared to the original novel, I think Arthur will be used to his body more, because of the daily sparring that we'll be doing.

That would leave him more time to improve his core and technique while adventuring with Jasmine.

Like this, I have made the first big change in this world.

Even with the help of everything I had obtained, I was still at the light red stage, but I had more time to train and more time to get stronger.

ARTHUR'S POV

As soon as I woke up today, I went to check on my "brother", I never really believed in what he said about my world being a novel in his past life how could everything that I did in my life, be just a story to read in another world. And this so-called "brother" seemed like a dangerous person, someone who knows potentially everything about me.

Or that was what I thought at first,

then there were always these theories about our world being a simulation, I never believed in it,  never had the time to, I only wanted a single thing in my previous life,

I wanted revenge against those who destroyed our orphanage.

But now, I have got a second chance at life, I have got a family, my "brother" might be a random person, but life got us together, He's the only person, who resembles me, at least in something, if I can't accept him as a brother, then my so-called family can't accept me as a son either.

And if this so-called "brother" was a dangerous person, he would have probably used this information way sooner, because I am still weak currently, why would he leave me to get stronger?

"Arthur we have to get breakfast and get ready to train again," Tom said.

"Yes, you 're right brother," I said

The sooner I accepted him, the better, was what I thought.

We got our breakfast and then grabbed our swords.

"Kids you' 're going to play again," Mom said.

"Yes Mom" we shouted.

"I can't believe I permitted you to, " Mom said.

"oh come on Mom, we aren't going to kill each other okay ?" I said.

"You better be done before launch,"  Mom said.

And with this, we went to training, together

I was better than Tom in terms of hand-to-hand combat, and swordsmanship, but Tom had the better hand in the mana manipulation-related stuff, we were always stuck in a draw while sparring. But sparring was fun, because it wasn't something that I did to get my revenge, to kill people, but it was to get stronger and be able to protect this little family. I had now.

After we had finished our training, we went to eat dinner.

And, I started to meditate to get my core level better, I couldn't feel the mana coming from Tom's core, It's probably due to some technique he learned or something.

But if he didn't want to teach it to me, he probably has a reason to, I can't press on him to know that. 

SPEEDING UP ANOTHER YEAR

Today we "'re going to spare against our father, even though we will be using wooden swords, but that's more than enough for us, Tom, and me We have both improved a lot, in this past year.

I turned out to be an augmenter, Tom was a conjurer.

I was able to reach light red, and Tom is at solid orange at this point.

Lunch came by, and Father was here.

"Ready kids?" he asked.

"Yes Father let's start this," I said.

A loud shouting voice said :

" NO ONE IS GOING ANYWHERE, LUNCH IS READY, EAT THEN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT," Alice said with red eyes. She seemed like a devilish monster.

" ok," Father, Tom, and I said calmly.

We all feared moMomhen she was angry.

After eating lunch, we went to the yard, father stood on one part, Tom and me on the other.

"Tom you're a conjurer, you must stay back, try and send attacks from far away I'll go fight our father since I'm the best in close-range combat," I said.

"Okay, brother I 'll try my best from here, I can help you in close-range combat too," Tom said and a second Tom appeared.

"what the heck is this" I said.

"This is a technique I learned, I can divide my mana to make clones of myself, but they're limited to my core level," Tom said.

"You keep amazing me brother, but there's no time,   you can do that if you can keep it up while conjuring from long range," I said, I'm glad he's a fan of mine e and not a hater.

I went directly to my father, Father used his gauntlets just like usual, and Tom's clone followed me, I could feel myself moving faster because of Tom manipulating gravity around me, he kept sending wind and water attacks from far away, and my father dodged most of these while dodging my slashes at the same time, he does have a lot of experience in fighting.

Tom's clone sent an attack to the knee, My father jumped to avoid it and gave a hit to the clone sending it far away, but that was the opening I needed, I sent a hit to the head, but but he avoided it again in mid air this time, how can he keep up with this much.

Father was giving me a hard time, but due to Tom manipulating gravity, I was able to doge Father's attacks.

Tom sent 4 wind tornadoes towards Fathur. He avoided them again but that was the trap, he used his clone to control these tornadoes, to imprison Father.

And my manipulating gravity a little bit made him unable to doge my last blow. But he was just going easy on us, there was no way we would beat him up this easily.

"We raised some strong kids, Alice, how did you learn this kid? , you were able to beat this old man just because I went easy on you get it? "  Father said

"The teamwork you did guys was impressive, locking your father down, and Arthur finishing with an augmented blow,  How did you master sword fighting to this degree Arthur? And Tom, how did you make the second Tom, that was helping your brother, and how did you unlock wind and water? " Mom asked.
