TO TRY AND CHANGE A PERSPECTIVE IN TIMES OF DO OR DIE!

"There Princess...now I do not owe you my life anymore."

Ruqui grinned, revealing himself, pushing away the leaves and branches but did not know that he had awakened the beast up in the air by disturbing the trees.

"Watch out!"

The Princess yelled back, laying on the ground, after a moment of silence, and even the birdie creature, on seeing up, ran away, plunging its wings up in the air, dramatically.

Watching them, the facial expression of his also changed right away as the colors of pride for saving the life of the princess slowly started to wear away from his skin.

He felt something brushing against his neck skin as he slowly tilted his head, hoping that it was not some giant snake right behind him... those anaconda.

And he let out a blood-curdling scream when those red eyes stare right into his eyes...

"Freaking Anaconda!!"

The giant snake rolled over, being perched all around that tree, and pushed his head towards Ruqui in force and it made him fall right down on the ground as the Princess stood up.

"Fuck! Fuck!"

"Stop cursing!"

The Princess shouted at him as they saw the anaconda scaling along the tree towards them, looking for a way out.

"What do you mean stop cursing?? We are so DEAD!!"

He yelled out the last part, not even understanding how the hell he was standing upright and not running out of there right away.

Maybe because he found himself stuck to his spot. The pain that it caused him falling from so high, was ignorant from seeing what was to come next.

Or it could be that if he ran off, that freaking thing would of course follow after him and not even notice this immortal/monster/vampiress/Princess before it.

"I can hear you!"

Ambrosia snarled. She glared at him as he looked back at her. She could read his thoughts now?

What else was there that she was not capable of?

"Are you not that?"

"I m not! If I was, that fucking thing would be long dead!"

Ambrosia snapped at him. She was often regarded to be a huntress, a fierce killing monster more than a princess of the palace.

She rose her blade up only to protect and save. A few times to defend herself too...as she could think of.

Of course, defending herself came in with the entire process. If she was not safe then those monsters would be running alive on the face of the earth.

But she never killed for only her sake. Which if put differently, could mean taking revenge but to note that Hamza was still alive even after the betrayal she had caused him, did not at all pinpoint to the fact that she killed for her sake.

Yet she could not help but contemplate that the creatures that she had slayed off a few moments back...was it not to save herself?

It was to save time from being wasted... then maybe she did kill to save her time?

"You just cursed out too!"

Ruqui's voice made her pull off from the heavy internal thoughts she was having at that exact time.

"That is not the point here..."

"It is coming!!"

Ruqui whispered, and yelled, not knowing what to do and what not to do.

Why was the monster standing beside her not slaying the incoming monster yet?

"Hey...hey! I can hear you! And that is so rude..."

Ambrosia burst at him and his attention was not even in her anymore.

"I do not kill to save myself!"

"Right! We had a brief outlook on that a few moments back...now KILL IT!"

Ruqui cried out at her, pointing his hands to that freaking green beast, that was camouflaged in the trees and he failed to notice.

"It was to save time!"

"The fuck!"

Ruqui swore as she was hell-bent on defending herself at a time when all it mattered was to indeed kill for saving your own life rather than time.

"I do not kill to save myself...if I had done, lots of beings or things would have been dead by now."

Ambrosia walked before him to catch his attention but Ruqui was not having it.

Sweat beads were forming on his forehead as he saw it finally coming down, rolling around that huge trunk of the tree. Due to its enormous mass, it took a bit of time.

And even before he could say anything at all, the snake drove in and rolled its tail around the princess, pulling her up in the air.

"What the...!!"

"As I said, I m not a killing monster..."

Ambrosia yelled that out from the top as the anaconda coiled around her body, squeezing her so tightly that even he could feel the intensity from beneath.

"That is so beside the point...KILL IT!"

Even though he was the one who had been voicing against killing in the forest and was telling her to do exactly that at that moment. Because it was the need of the time.

"You said not to kill any beings here!"

"But you already did it...a dozen times!"

Ruqui was getting frustrated at that instant. Did she not realize that she would be dead if she did not kill it?

"I m trying to make a difference here...and change the perspective of how my kingdom men view me for once."

Right after that, she was inside the anaconda's mouth and the words that were about to come out from his mouth, died down his throat, knowing what was to happen next right away.

He saw it swallowing down her body like a mere flesh and then its eyes got onto his.

"Trying to change perspective??

In times like this...Guess it's you die, I die moment!"

He said it to himself, closing his eyes as the snake rolled down to get him and when he did not feel eating in for long, instead heard a slicing-off sound, he opened his eyes.

And there stood she, drenched in that beast's secretion, her blade bloody up in the air, from cutting that being, now long-lifeless.

"Told you, don't kill to save me!"

All of that to prove a point? A real stupid Princess! To say!

"I can still hear you!"

The Princess barked, coming out of that monster's clutch, and putting back her blade inside. Ruqui did not say a word and turned around.

"Before calling me stupid! You dumb mortal, immortals do not die!"
