I have another paper tomorrow but seeing the update notice I could not help but update even though I m not done studying:( GOOD LUCK TO ME!

Please show your support by donating GT, small gifts and voting...comment your thoughts, it motivates the author to work hard.

I m not seeing the kind of support I had hoped for as in the last book...I always try to come up with new plots and not repeated ones, so support is very important to me...and you silent readers being vocal at least...

Thank you!

The Folklores...he said about the folklores...

But her mind was too occupied looking at those creatures feeding upon their dead ones.

"I know some real unwanted sight in the very morning."

It was his voice that made her pull back and stare back at him, perched up at the opposite adjacent tree.

How the hell did he know that it was morning?

The forest was too dark to know if it was dusk or dawn.

And right then and there, Ruqui felt that he had yet again blabbered out something that he should not have as he felt her scrutinizing gaze all over him.

"How did you..."

"Birds do not roam around in the twilight!"

He interrupted her right away even before she could complete her question and it made her open and close her mouth at the same time, confused beyond the extent but it made sense.

Those did look like birds, although different from the ones outside of the forest...all in all, they were indeed birds.

"Some common sense, Princess, right there could make your life a bit easier."

He chuckled at her and that made her growl at him, annoyed for still poking fun at her.

And without any warning, she just jumped down, making Ruqui curse out, yelling at her.

"What the...we were supposed to stay up till they were out of here!!"

"I do not have all the time of the world like you do, a commoner!"

She spat up at him and the birds came up to her, spreading their wings up as if in attack mode.

She pulled out her sword and it made Ruqui close his eyes, knowing what was to come next.

She waited in kill mode, holding her sword up to slay each one by one as they got closer, making weird noises, almost hurting their ears.

She sliced through each one's long neck as they quacked at her. She moved in a circle, dancing her sword around, getting each one right at their vulnerable neck.

It could be that Ruqui might have never even seen such an act of mass violence altogether from the time of his childhood and it made him feel not very comfortable watching her kill all of them.

When he was too occupied staring down at her, one of the birds saw him and almost flew up to the height where he was, and he shrieked out.

It got Ambrosia's attention and she hopped up straightaway before the enormous creature could reach him, she chopped off his head and the sticky glue-like blood fell all over his face, and for a brief moment, they both had eye contact as she cut through the creature, still up in the air.

And for a sleek moment, she felt like she saw something...something deep that she had failed to notice in him...

But it was interrupted when she fell back down, still on her feet. He bowed down to look at her, his heart beating like a hammer against his chest.

"There..."

Before even he could complete his statement, pointing to one coming after her from behind, she had put it down by turning around so swiftly in the air and cutting it off.

And just like that, she stood in the middle of all the dead creatures, slaying down to the face of the earth in no time.

If Ruqui had taken her a bit lightly before, by then he was even scared for his life even though she had just saved his.

Who knew that green substance-covered blade could slice through his chest anytime and pull out his beating heart just like she had threatened him with a promise...

While he was up and she was down, they both felt the ground shaking and heard the howling of the same tune.

He knew what it was and this time even she could tell that they were all coming back to get back at her...

"What are you staring at? Freaking hide!!"

She screamed out at him and got herself to run away from the spot at the speed of air as if she had just vanished off from there, leaving Ruqui all to himself up in the tree, watching a dozen more of those creatures march to the spot and howl around, each one looking around with their wings spread up and started feeding on the dead ones.

"She left me!"

He told to himself, saddened at the fact that one moment and she was off the hook from him.

When he could have just walked past her and out of the forest when he saw her laying on the muddy ground with the creature scanning atop her face.

She stopped when she thought that she had gotten too far from them. She could not taint her sword anymore but killed more of those animals just to save her life.

It was obvious that they would keep coming back and back as she would put more of them down to their death bed.

She wiped away the stains on her blade with her bare hand and grimaced her face, disgusted by the stickiness it produced on her skin.

Without seeing what was behind her, thinking that it was a tree trunk, she started rubbing her palm against it.

But realizing that it felt too soft...the bark of the tree felt too smooth and furry as if it was something else...

And indeed it was, as she tilted her head around to see what it was and it Quaked at her, hitting her with it's spreaded out wings, making her lose balance and fall on the ground.

"The creatures of the same bloodline might come after us anytime now..."

His words rang in her ears as she eyed the creature who was about to step down on her frontal with its giant claws, jumping off of the ground with force to hit her with the same force.

But it got stopped when a tiny piece of pebble hit it. Ambrosia looked up, not clearly able to see because of dense trees, that were perched up on it.

"There Princess...now I do not owe you my life anymore."

Ruqui grinned, revealing himself, pushing away the leaves and branches but did not know that he had awakened the beast up in the air by disturbing the trees.

"Behind you!"

She shouted out.
