Lucious walked up to princess amaris and tapped her shoulder. Amaris turned around in shock but there he saw lucious charming her with his smile and striking deep blue eyes.

Amaris: Lucious... What are you doing here? I didn't even hear you walk behind me.

Lucious: Probably because your so deep in thoughts amaris. What's wrong? Do you have any problems?

Amaris: As you know my brothers and my father aren't really in good terms right now.

Lucious: Yes I've heard.

Amaris: It's just that I'm really really worried about my brothers. Especially with my brother Damien. I don't even know why he went to nakusa. He didn't even show any sign that he was uncomfortable of anything.

Lucious: Are you sure you don't know?

Amaris: What?

Lucious: Are you sure you don't know the reason why your brother left you?

Before amaris could speak once more lucious had already left. Now seeing lucious himself call her out on her arrogance and her unfair treatment towards her brother she didn't know what to feel. On the other hand lucious started to regret even trying to talk to princess amaris. He was very annoyed and disgusted at how she acted. Now he just sees her as a social climber. He realized how princess amaris suddenly shifted from prince Damien's side to prince rahims from a snap of a finger. But one of his servants knocked on his door and he let that servant in. The servant was holding a letter that had princess amaris's seal. He takes the letter and reads it.

"Lucious. This is princess amaris of Trystia empire. I sent you this letter to apologize about what had happened in the imperial garden earlier today. I'm sorry about what I've said if it has offended you please tell me as I want to apologize to you personally about my mistakes. Please just reply to me. I wasn't being my self earlier could you just meet with me again soon so we can talk about what had happened? I will wait for you lucious. Please respond.

Lucious scoffed after he read the letter. He couldn't believe how fake the letter was. He knew that princess amaris didn't write that letter for an apology but she was just curious on what else lucious thinks about her and her brothers. Lucious sent back a letter.

" Your Highness. Please do not send me anymore letters as it is inappropriate for a princess to send letters to an unmarried Duke. May you please no longer talk to me if it isn't about state affairs or about the current situation between your brother's standings in court. If you keep sending me personal letters I would either just rip it apart and burn it or send it back to you. May you please also keep your distance from me because if you become too close to me many nobles will make rumors about me and it will ruin my reputation and honor. There is also no need for you to apologize as you did absolutely nothing wrong. Your a princess act like it."
