The Architect [Solo Leveling]

I may not know the peace of death but Jin Woo does. I may not have the power to create armies even while in battle but Jin Woo does. I am not Jin Woo, I am Steve Grant and I am the Architect. He may know the peace of death but I know the chaos that is life He may create armies even when in battle but I designed the battlefield. War cometh but Victory is mine. ... I do not own anything in this book apart from my OCs, all rights belong to their original creators. Also I will change a bit of the lore since the OG story while entertaining and interesting doesn't fit my needs and doesn't seem complete .... Power of an S-tier

Steve stood up with his twin blades positioned before him in a defensive posture commonly seen in boxing. His eyes in his target but soon the target disappeared.

Immediately Steve expanded his life detector and his own senses. The demon was moving too fast for him to see even with its huge size.

"This is the power of an S-tier" Steve noted before suddenly bracing himself as he managed to block an attack from the creature

This sent him tumbling back but thankfully he was naturally nimble enough to regain his balance before the creature caught up.

The creature sword could be seen slashing through from his left, impossible to dodge or escape so instead he opted to let the attack hit.

[Protection III] wasn't there for nothing, with such mentality, Steve immediately went in for an attack as he switched his dagger forward.

Punching out with said dagger, the demon immediately vanished before his eyes

[I never knew you humans were suicidal, if that is so then why would they ask us to kill you all] The creature commented

"Ask?" Steve asked

[I don't know what special circumstances your kind may have gotten themselves into but… you will not be leaving this cave] The creature said as though it was glitching out.

"Okay now, you've piqued my interest," Steve said as he poured even more power into the suit.

As soon as he did so, the once blue lines on the suit began turning red as Steve overloaded it with mana. Doing so, he felt an incomprehensible amount of power.

Taking a single step, He found himself in front of the demon but thankfully this was something he had practised and had gotten used to even if its withdrawal was painful and not advised considering his situation.

Without hesitation, Steve slashed out, cutting a bit of the demon's flesh off before it could properly dodge.

[Excellent, now this would be a worthy battle] the demon shouted before suddenly taking off.

Steve saw this too and also took off running, within a second, their swords clashed multiple times with the Demon overpowering him each time.

Without hesitation, Steve slammed the two blades together as they both melted and formed a longer and proper blade. In their previous form, he would never win.

Now with a proper blade, Steve took a stance as he took a deep breath, ready for what was to come. Dashing toward the opponent, the two clashed swords multiple times.

The power between each clash was so great, it created sparks and Shockwaves that pushed everything around away.

Steve looked at the monster that was matching him in power and smiled. It truly was the definition of the phrase 'in front of absolute power, all techniques are useless'.

He could see it's sloppy techniques, born from decades of combat but the technique was still sloppy and had many unnecessary movements but even so, he was completely matching him.

Realising this, Steve simply aimed to disarm the demon and immediately strike however this was proving difficult. Raising his other hand, Steve unleashed a mana blast no different from a laser beam on the opponent who immediately blocked with his sword.
