Courtyard Scuffles

When Draxzel saw Matt attack Zephyr, he had called out to his warriors, then swam at their opponents with ferocious grins. The opposing Gorgons bared their fangs and weapons in response, and a spirited clash ensued. As the Merfolk soldiers watched, they felt relieved to have some Gorgons of their own on their side.
When they had cleared the vortex, Matt lunged forward, and stabbed the Captain where his tail bent. It was a shallow wound meant to keep him from fighting, which worked well. As other soldiers dragged him back, two more swam forward to attack.
Serenity had shifted the enormous vortex that they had used to clear the majority of the battlefield, and slammed it down onto a group of leery soldiers coming at her. She moved it from side to side, essentially clearing the way to the Captains..
