Chapter 24

Miscilla liked spending time with her brother. She was always fascinated by the wonderful stories her brother told. They always stroked the imagination in her. At times she'd wonder how her brother comes up with such stories. As days passed like this she began to quite like this brother of hers even though he was not the strongest or the smartest of her siblings he'd been the one that she felt the most comfortable around.

As time passed by one day Miscilla was called by one of the maids to her mother's room. There she saw her sister standing by her mother next to a table filled with papers and notes. Her mother was writing something in a notebook when she arrived. As she approached the table her mother looked up at her and smiled and said:" Miscilla my dear you are here..How are you today?"

She answered " I am doing well today mother"

" Good, do you know why I called you here today child?" Her mother asked.

With a confused expression, she answered" No mother I don't".

Then with a serious expression, her mother asked told" you are a good child Miscilla. You are smart and wise enough to know and do things on your own... But what I wanna discuss with you today child is about how you spend your time daily."

" As I have come to hear that you have been spending a lot of time with your second brother, idling away lately. "She let out a sigh and then said:" look if you want to do something to spend your time you could just come to me and help me out like your sister, why are you wasting your time by simply playing with your brother"

Miscilla answers after a moment" I am not playing with the second brother he was just telling me a story"

Gicila just ignored what she said" I don't care what you do from tomorrow onward you are coming to help in my work you understand"

Hearing her mother commanding sternly Miscilla just couldn't say no.

Alan didn't like training with old Robert but if he had to succeed in his father's place he must be strong enough to stand against any opposition that may come against him.

He always had a laid back attitude against all things mainly because he found that no one was really against him in competing for the lordship.

His attitude toward training was also so but recently he'd been having a hard time because of his youngest brother. He was grateful that his first younger brother was of a weak bloodline since he wouldn't be able to practice the awakening method passed down by the family.

Yet now his youngest brother has shown a much larger potential even larger than him. This irritated him plus training with old Robert was never easy.

Old Robert was his fathers most trusted right-hand man he was captain of the regional guard. He was a strong warrior and as such always trained his men and warriors to be strong men as well this he was led to gruesome training. But to his greater annoyance, his father had begun to train his youngest brother personally, seeing his potential.

He didn't want to fall behind his youngest brother and thus even though he hated it he began to train like his life depended on it since then.
