Calamity Strikes

As the action inside the cave continues to intensifies, Calcipher and Zythandra are closely observing everything back in the mansion. They initially thought that the training will be somewhat boring because majority of the students doesn't want to combat their friends but thanks to their leaders, everyone got motivated. Besides, everyone wants to go out into the world and not just spend their days mostly locked up in the many corners of the mansion.

"Did you just see how Lilith single-handedly annihilated Team Surge?" Calcipher excitedly asked her co-mentor.

"I did. We're both watching the feed, aren't we?" Zythandra sarcastically responded.

"I know that. Give more a little enthusiasm, Z. It's your favorite student who just that amazing feat after all." Calcipher commented. "I know you're jumping for joy inside." He teased.

"Why should I? I expected that from her." Zythandra replied but she couldn't hold a faint smile. Calcipher saw it but he just let her be and not teased her further then continued watching their students.

"That nightmare illusion she just did was very horrifying." Calcipher whispered to himself.

"Hey, Cal. The entire feed is being recorded, right?" Zythandra asked. "I'm going to take a break."

"Yes, it is. I think I will too. I got quite hungry witnessing that awesome fight between Lilith and Team Surge." Calcipher responded. "ANAIS can take over for the meantime." He added. ANAIS is an AI System he developed. ANAIS stands for Amplified Neuronal Artificial Intelligence System.

While Lilith took her time to rest for a moment, Team Glass and Beast has their own stuff their working on but they're not so much in the same page. Glass is thinking of making an alliance with Beast's team to dominate this training since both of their teams has the most combat-capable members. On the other hand, Beast wants to have an undisputable win which means he doesn't want anyone else's help to be the victor aside from his own team members.

From the first floor of the cave where the intricate murals are, Team Beast decided to plow down their enemy teams from the next floor to the furthest all by themselves. Beast is very confident about his team member's combat abilities so he's not wary about them losing this part of the training. However, the team on the second floor is Team Glass. Though have an impressive combat capabilities, Glass believes that there will be no uncertainties of them winning if they made an alliance to whoever strong.

"Beast, my man!" Glass welcomed Team Beast. "I'll get to the chase. I have a proposition to make."

"We don't want to hear it!" Beast yelled from the passageway to the second floor.

"Come on! This will be beneficial for all of us." Glass said confidently.

"Why don't we hear him out first before we decide?" Levi suggested as he floats behind Beast.

"I agree. We may be at the top when it comes to fighting but Lilith is still out there. She's the only person who can defeat us all if she wants to." Gigas commented.

"As much I would love to annihilate them all, I can't deny that I'm wary about Lilith too." Shiv said.

"Surge, Feral, Pixel and Mimic from Team Surge: Out!" Calcipher announced from the bracelets which made everyone aware that one less team to be defeated. "Adversary: Lilith from Team Medusa." He continued to announced making everyone else left in shock.

"Does that mean Lilith took down four people at once?" Stretch asked in disbelief.

"Yes, she did." Calcipher whispered jokingly from the bracelets.

"If she can handle that many, it's highly likely that she can do it again and more." Clone commented.

"You know what this means, Beast. We should totally work together. We can settle our score between our teams when we're eventually the last ones standing." Glass convinces Beast.

"Guys, guys!" Swift came in running from the third floor. "I saw Lilith take down Team Surge! I am telling you it is very traumatizing."

"Calm down, Swift." Glass responded. "Tell us what you saw."

Swift explained that everyone was screaming in agony as soon as he stealthily got to the third floor. The first thing he saw was Lilith laughing menacingly while Mimic and Pixel are violently wriggling on the ground next to her as they squeal in so much pain. Also, what made it scarier is that the entire floor appeared as though it was ripped out from a scene of a horror movie. The cave's ceiling and walls were filled with distorted crucifixes and muffled deep voices were heard from everywhere.

"That is mental!" Clone shrieked.

"I think we should really be getting into this alliance, huh?" Gigas commented.

"That's what we're suggesting, dude." Stretch replied.

"It seemed like Lilith has something new up in her sleeve." Shiv muttered to himself.

"It must've been that nightmare illusion thingy she did to me last time." Levi said.

"Then happened to Team Surge after? Also, where is Lilith now?" Beast asked.

"All of a sudden, they're screaming stopped and the cave went back to normal. I think Team Surge is in a forced slumber." Swift explained. "As for Lilith, I lost sight of her so I'm really not sure."

"That's rich! Lilith is still out there." Glass said. "What do you say, Beast? Care for an alliance now?" He asked.

"Fine, let's do it. But we will end you once the other teams are out." Beast responded firmly.

While they're brainstorming their game plan against all the other teams and specially for Lilith herself, another strong trembling in the entire cave. They thought the previous one was strong but it got way stronger this time. Most of them were fell to the ground due to lose of balance. Levi is the only one almost not being affected by it thanks to his Anomaly if it wasn't for the debris he needs to avoid.

"Brace yourselves! This one's much stronger." Glass shrieked then all of them scattered to quickly look for their own places to hide.

"Is everyone alright?" Stretch yelled to ask then everyone from both teams responded. Luckily for all of them, they managed to find a safe place.

Before they can even regroup, every single one of them noticed something strange appeared almost everywhere in the cave. It's something usual really but what's peculiar is that these things aren't around when everyone got in the cave. It's highly likely that they showed up not just throughout the second floor but in the entire cave's nooks and crannies. Also, something is quite off so everyone couldn't help themselves but to investigate what these are.

"Why are you here? There's a lot of hiding spots someplace else." Beast asked.

"No. Why are you here? I got here first, man." Glass responded. They happened to hide underneath the same beautiful rock formation.

"You are such a pain, man." Beast muttered to himself as he slowly shook his head from left to right.

"Hey, man. Do you see these cracks and holes on the walls?" Glass asked as he noticed these strange things appeared.

"I noticed." Beast responded still slightly annoyed. "What about them?"

"What do you mean 'what about them'? They're not here before. Isn't it suspicious?"

"No. All caves have cracks and holes in them. Are you for real right now?"

"You got a point there but listen. Listen very closely. It seems that these cracks and holes are breathing."

They slowly put their faces closer and closer to the cracks and holes to confirm if there's really something or someone breathing from the other side. They may have confirmed that air is flowing for the other side of these cracks and holes but they can only see pitch black darkness on the other side as they look through them. Then, they smelt something burning so Glass instinctively created a dome of glass to protect him and Beast from whatever is coming if there's any.

"Man, what's this for?" Beast asked.

"Chill out. It's just precaution." Glass responded.

They don't know why but can't take their eyes off of the breathing cracks and holes from the caves walls and ceiling. Few moments later, every single aforementioned cracks and holes burst with an unfamiliar dark hued smoke that filled that entire cave not just the floor where Teams Glass and Beast are. Glass and Beast heard some surprised screams from their team members but they got silent as soon as they were heard. The leaders wanted to investigate what happened to them but they got weary about the smoke so they waited for it to gone first.

"Hey guys! Are you all okay?" Glass yelled worriedly as he dismantle his glass dome.

"Shiv, Gigas and Levi from Team Beast: Out." ANAIS announced from everyone's name tag. "Swift, Stretch and Clone from Team Surge: Out. Lilith from Team Medusa: Out. Adversary: Unknown." She continued.

"Glass! Look at these." Beast said from afar.

Glass went to where Beast is and they couldn't believe what they are witnessing. They see all their team members lying unconscious everywhere. From the random beautiful rock formations to the passageways either to the next floor up or the next floor down. They most likely are trying to escape but ultimately failed. They then hear the beeping of their friends' bracelets indicating they're about to go on an extended slumber.

"What in the world happened here?" Beast asked.

"And why did ANAIS announced their adversary is unknown?" Glass added.

"Lilith from Team Medusa: Out." ANAIS announced. "Adversary: Unknown." She continues making the leaders of both team more baffled.

Meanwhile, Team Pandora is just taking their precious time relaxing in their makeshift camp on the fifth floor while Lilith and Team Surge's battle is getting closer and closer to its end except for Blast who is still roaming around the place. Since their goal is to avoid altercations still, Pandora continues to monitor everyone else's movements and continues keep her team members posted so Reaper can easily come up with some kind of plan that's beneficial to them.

"Lilith is still fighting against the Surge's entire team." Pandora announced.

"Really? Where's Medusa and the sisters? Aren't they going to assist Lilith?" Reaper asked.

"Yes, Lilith took on Team Surge by herself. Medusa and the sisters are still upstairs. Knowing Lilith, she must've asked the others to not interfere." Pandora explained.

"Lilith is really scary." Sprite commented.

"As long as it wasn't us, I'm good." Reaper said.

"Where is Blast?" Sprite asked.

"He's still venturing deep in the caves. He's so curious for some reason." Reaper answered.

"I sense that he's still not stopping. I wonder how deep this cave goes." Pandora commented.

"Surge, Feral, Pixel and Mimic from Team Surge: Out!" Calcipher announced from the bracelets which made everyone aware that one less team to be defeated. "Adversary: Lilith from Team Medusa." He continued to announced making everyone else left in shock.

"No way!" Reaper exclaimed.

"I knew Lilith is tenacious but this is something else." Pandora commented.

"Do you think she'll target us next?" Sprite worriedly said.

"Probably. She might be about to take her revenge on me now!" Reaper exclaimed.

"I think not. Lilith seemed to take a break. She most likely used up most of her energy for that recent fight so she needs to regain her strength." Pandora explained.

"We should get Blast back here just in case." Reaper suggested.

"I've been calling onto him since the fight between Lilith and Team Surge started but it seems that he's not hearing me for some reason." Pandora responded.

"Should we just fetch him?" Sprite asked.

"Great idea!" Reaper exclaimed. "Come on. Let's go!"

Before they can even get up from their camp, the ground trembled more aggressively making them unable to move even an inch and just kept themselves intact in one place. Luckily for them, no debris fell on them. However, all three of them noticed the appearance of the cracks and holes all over the area. They also noticed that something is breathing from the other side where the darkness lies. Then, they saw Blast hurriedly propelling himself towards them in panic using continues explosions from his hands.

"We must get out of this cave. Now!" Blast screamed multiple times.

Then, the mysterious smoke started to fill the entire floor but Sprite instinctively created a protective dome with her vines to protect the three of them and she also made a dome protecting Blast from a distance. It seemed that the vine dome worked since the mysterious smoke didn't get into it so they were safe from the potential danger. After a few moments, Sprite retracted her vines revealing the still empty fifth floor of the cave and all of her teammates.

"Shiv, Gigas and Levi from Team Beast: Out." ANAIS announced from everyone's name tag. "Swift, Stretch and Clone from Team Surge: Out. Lilith from Team Medusa: Out. Adversary: Unknown." She continued.

"What just happened?" Reaper asked.

"Is everyone fine?" Pandora asked her team members.

"I'm fine over here. Thanks Sprite!" Blast said.

"No problem." Sprite responded.

"Did you just heard what ANAIS announced?" Reaper asked.

"Yeah. I can now sense that the ones ANAIS announced are now in a slumber. What I don't understand is their adversary. She said it's unknown." Pandora said.

"Do you think it's something to do about the smoke? If this floor was filled with that strange smoke, there's a high chance that the other floors were too." Reaper explained.

"I agree." Sprite responded.

"Lilith from Team Medusa: Out." ANAIS announced. "Adversary: Unknown."

"What on earth is happening?" Reaper explained.

"Who or what could've taken out Lilith?" Sprite asked.

"Blast, what were you saying earlier? You're kind of in a hurry." Pandora asked.

"I almost forgot!" Blast exclaimed as he quickly got up and started preparing to flee. "This is not just a cave. There's a volcano in the deepest area of this cave and it's currently erupting. We should go now!"

As what Blast said, it turned out that there's an active volcano at the farthest part of the cave most likely at the end of the path he was traversing earlier. They looked back to the passageway Blast came from and they can make out a slightly red-orange glow slowly coming out from it and the area started to become warmer and warmer as well. Instead of panicking, Team Pandora kept their cool aside from Blast as Pandora asked Reaper to assume the role of giving out orders.

"Blast, we need you to calm down. We need you, man." Reaper said. "Tell us what happened."

"You don't understand! The trembling will not stop and it will get stronger and stronger every second as long as the volcano is erupting." Blast responded in panic. "Let's leave this place!"

Blast was successful in convincing his teammates to leave the cave but the trembling came back and it seemed that it will not stop any time soon. Alongside the more aggressive trembling all throughout the cave, the molten lava continues to rise and started to get more visible. The atmosphere gradually is becoming from warm to scorching hot. Reaper decided to bail from the training and focus on escaping with everyone.

"Pandora, can you reach our mentors using your Anomaly? Sprite, can you create some kind of barrier to slow down the lava? Blast, I need your help warding off the falling rocks." Reaper instructed his teammates.

"The mansion is out of range. I can't connect to them." Pandora said.

"Are you sure? Lava is technically fire and the effectivity of my Anomaly is significantly low against heat." Sprite explained.

"I'm on it, man." Blast responded.

"We don't need you to stop the eruption, Sprite. We just need to slow it down so I need you to conjure the sturdiest tree maybe that can act as a barrier or wall or something." Reaper responded to Sprite's dilemma. Sprite doesn't have any other choice but to follow. Sprite concentrated and conjured a huge trunk of a Baobab tree that perfectly covered the entirety of the passageway. Baobab tree is said to be fire resistant so it can withstand the lava longer than regular trees.

"That's too bad, Pandora. How about the others? Can you reach them? We all need to work together if we want to survive this." Reaper responded to Pandora.

"I can. Actually, we're all connected now." Pandora said. "Guys! Is everyone alright?"

Due to panic, everyone couldn't help themselves but to respond to Pandora's call all at once that it's hard for all of them to hear each other properly. There's only nine of them left from the original twenty who came in the cave. Medusa and the Banshee sisters are totally in panic upstairs while Glass and Beast are still baffled as to what just happened to their team members that that couldn't help but to have chaotic thoughts.

"Silence!" Pandora exclaimed which was very effective as the others paused for a moment. "Do we have your attention now?"

"Yes." Medusa, Glass, Beast and the Banshee sisters responded.

"Good. Now, listen up people if we all want to survive." Reaper said.

"What do you mean?" Medusa asked.

"Is this some kind of a tactic to win the training?" Beast have doubts.

"Why is the trembling not stopping this time?" Glass is still slightly in panic.

"No, man. This is more serious than that now. We should forget about the training for now and focus on escaping!" Reaper shrieked.

Reaper continued on announcing that there's a volcano at the deepest area in the cave and it's violently erupting as of the moment. The unending aggressive trembling they're experiencing is caused by this eruption and if they stay in the cave, they can either be stranded from the falling boulders or they can all be burned to death once they get caught by the overflowing molten lava. So, they all have to work together if they want to survive.

"Fine, I believe you guys. What should we do?" Beast responded.

"Listen up, everyone. Beast and Glass, you guys go and evacuate with your team members first since you're the closest to the cave's entrance. Team Medusa and our team should head to the third floor since Team Surge and Lilith are there." Reaper instructed everyone. "Go now and keep safe everyone!"

As Reaper instructed, Glass and Beast immediately looked for their members so they can evacuate the area. Beast transformed his arms to his trusty gorilla arms so he can easily roam around and Glass concentrated to ward off falling debris. Not long after they found all of their eliminated members. Beast carried Shiv and Gigas on his left arm and Levi and Swift on his right. As for Glass, he manifested two glass discs much larger than he regularly creates so he can carry Stretch and Clone on each one but still able to create other discs for defense.

Team Medusa managed to get to the third floor despite the aggressive tremble of the entire cave. Medusa utilizes her Anomaly to fend off incoming boulders or debris that falling towards them. The Banshee sisters also managed to locate Lilith and the entire Team Surge. On the other hand, the tree that Sprite conjured was burned down by the lava so Team Pandora hurriedly rush to the third floor.

"P, I thought something happened to you guys down there!" Medusa welcomed Team Pandora.

"We're fine. I'm glad you guys are too." Pandora responded then two hugged.

"Were you guys able to contact our mentors?" Medusa asked. "This is obviously not part of the training anymore."

"The mansion is out of range from my Anomaly." Pandora responded.

"No way! The sisters and I tried to contact them using the bracelets but that didn't do either." Medusa confirmed.

"We should find Lilith and Team Surge so we can all evacuate." Reaper said.

"We found Lilith and the others." The Banshee sisters announced.

"What are we waiting for?" Blast butted in. "The lava will catch up to us if we stay here!" He exclaimed.

"Sprite, do you think you can still conjure that tree against the passageway?" Reaper asked.

"I'll try." Sprite responded but eventually succeeded in summoning the Baobab tree against the passageway to further slowdown the lava from getting to them.

"Guys, we managed to evacuate our members. We're going in again." Glass announced.

As soon as Glass announced this, a loud rumbling sound was heard from the floors above and below where Team Pandora and the remaining Team Medusa are. Beast and Glass rushed to where the rumbling sound was heard and in their surprise, the majority of the first floor is nowhere to be found. It appears that it has collapsed and fell directly towards the second floor. The same can also be assumed for the fourth floor since the same rumbling sound was heard there. Most likely, the fourth floor is no more.

"Guys, you should hurry!" Beast exclaimed. "The first floor has collapsed."

"Oh no! What should we do now?" Medusa exclaimed.

"We're still going in! We'll make a way for you." Glass firmly said.

"Screw all of this waiting! I'm heading out now." Blast said in panic and eventually propel himself to escape on his own.

"Blast wait! It's dangerous our there." Reaper called out but Blast didn't even looked back and continue to exit the place.

"Great! You could've at least bring one of them with you." Medusa screamed as she pertains to one of their friends unconscious bodies.

"We should plan out our escape plan and who will carry who." Reaper suggested.

"We'll carry Imp!" The Banshee sisters volunteered.

"Uh, yeah sure. Why not?" Reaper reluctantly agreed.

Moments later, Glass and Beast arrived at the third floor where everybody else is. With their arrival, the molten lava happened to reach the third floor as well so they should settle for an escape plan and quickly. Though the continues trembling adds to the challenge, Reaper came up with a feasible plan of escape. To not compromise Beast's speed, he will just carry two from Team Surge with his gorilla arms. Then, Glass will also carry the remaining two from Team Surge with his enlarged glass discs. Finally, since Imp will be carried by the sisters, Medusa will be in charge of carrying Lilith with her Anomaly.

With all that's quickly settled and agreed upon, they all hurriedly fled the area to avoid being burned to death by the lava. Along the way, Glass' discs are very helpful in fending off the rocks from falling towards them. The sisters also utilizes their Anomalies to clear the path. However, before they can even reach to the second floor, Reaper heard something odd but familiar at the same time so he broke off from the group unconsciously and headed to where the sound is coming from.

"Hello?" Reaper said as he continues to hear the whimpering sound.

"Reaper, is that you?" A faint voice of Blast asked.

"Blast! Are you okay? What are you doing here? I thought you escaped earlier." Reaper responded in panic.

"I thought so too if it wasn't for this stupid boulder." Blast said in anger. It appears to be a boulder pinning down half of his body from his right arm to right leg.

"I'm getting you out of here! Stay calm." Reaper said.

"You stay calm! I've never been calmer than ever." Blast responded.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group got area closest to the entrance of the cave. However, due to the first floor collapsing earlier, the mouth of the cave is a floor higher so it's still quite challenging for them to get out. Luckily for them, Pandora thought of the most possible way for them to escape even with this predicament. She then quickly but surely informed the rest of the group of her plan as they left their friends' unconscious bodies in one place.

First, Beast will throw Medusa to where the exit is. Once Medusa successfully got into the entrance, Glass will hand their friends' unconscious bodies to Beast one at a time so Beast can throw them to the exit then Medusa will catch them. Finally, after their eliminated friends were evacuated, Pandora, Sprite and the sisters will be the last ones to be thrown to safety. No one disagreed with this proposal so everyone took there positions and executed this plan.

"Oopsy daisy!" Medusa muttered to herself as she position herself at the mouth of the cave after being thrown by Beast. Thanks to her rich, luscious, thick blonde hair she was able to safely grab ahold of the platform where she will catch the rest of them.

"Incoming!" Beast screamed to notify Medusa as he's about to throw Lilith towards the entrance.

The execution of this plan went smoothly as they hoped it to be. After hurling Lilith to safety, she was followed by Team Surge then Pandora, then Sprite and the sisters last. Just as their about to finish the evacuation efforts, they noticed that some of them are missing. Not everyone is still accounted for. Beast and Glass are the only ones left inside the cave and their very determined to keep everyone out of harms way so they won't hesitate to go back deep in the cave to look for whoever is missing.

"We're missing some people!" Medusa announced.

"Blast and Reaper are still not here!" Sprite added.

"Those fools! What are they up to now?" Beast responded angrily.

"Pandora, can you tell where they are?" Glass asked.

"It appears that they're still at the third floor passageway." Pandora responded. "Hurry! Blast's consciousness is constantly depleting for some reason." She exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Reaper is still trying he's best to help free Blast from being pinned down by the boulder but his efforts aren't fruitful. He then noticed that Blast is bleeding out and gradually going pale. Adding more fuel to the fire, the molten lava has finally reach the third floor and it slowly making the surroundings hotter by the second. At this point, Reaper couldn't do anything else but to ask for help.

"Can someone still hear me?" Reaper called out still using Pandora's neural link.

"Reaper, talk to us! We're coming." Glass responded.

"If we all die here, I'll kill you again myself!" Beast commented aggressively.

"That doesn't make much sense but thanks for coming. We're here at the passageway!" Reaper replied. "Hurry!"

Glass was the first to arrive at the scene as he was riding his glass disc to float around the place. He quickly saw Blast being pinned down by a heavy boulder but he also noticed the molten lava quickly rushing in and with one wrong fall of a boulder, all of them will be swimming red hot sea of melted rocks. So, Glass decided to create a thick glass barrier that stretches from wall to wall and ceiling to floor to save all of them from certain demise. However, the passageway was blocked by dozens of rocks and boulders so it will be a challenge for Beast to go through and assist with the rescue.

"Great! Can this day be more dreadful?" Glass muttered to himself. "Beast, my man! How are you doing there?" He asked.

"I just got here and it's freaking blocked!" Beast responded with an added aggravation. "What's the situation on your side?" He asked.

"Reaper and Blast are with me but not for long it seems. The lava is rising and I don't know how long I can hold my barrier up!" Glass explained. "You should do something about that blockage, my man."

"I can take these rocks out but I need time!" Beast responded.

"We don't have the luxury of time here." Glass said.

At this point, all of them are running out of options. Cracks are starting to be seen from Glass' think barrier, Beast needs to be much faster if he will continue to remove the rocks and boulders blocking their way and Blast will pass out due to loss of blood any time soon. However, Blast volunteered to use his remaining energy to blow away the rocks and boulders so Beast can get to them and ultimately finish the rescue effort.

"Are you sure?" Reaper asked. "Can you still create an explosion strong enough to clear Beast's path?"

"Are you underestimating me? I don't have much time. Move back!" Blast responded. Reaper did move back and also informed Beast of what Blast is planning so he find some cover for himself as well. Then, Blast raised his left arm and aimed to where the blockage is. With a little moment of concentration, an explosion came out of his hands that is strong enough to clear the path. As expected, he eventually lost his consciousness because of this last act.

"Blast from Team Pandora: Out." ANAIS announced. "Adversary: Blast from Team Pandora."

"Oh, the training is still on going?" Beast responded.

"Screw the training, man! Help me get this boulder off of Blast." Reaper exclaimed. Then, he temporarily patched up Blast's wound to stop the bleeding for the meantime.

"Is everyone good?" Glass asked. "I'm losing my grip here." He said as he's struggling to keep his barrier stable due to the amount of molten lava it's holding.

Beast quickly carried Blast and Glass took Reaper with one of his enlarge glass discs so they can both hover around to safety. However, as soon as they got to the second floor where the collapsed first floor scattered around, the second floor also collapsed as well. Luckily enough, the four of them landed into one of the floating boulders in the area but Glass was severely injured with that fall. Also, the exit is now two floors away from them now and due to the danger of being surrounded by molten lava, Beast couldn't risk throwing people around.

"Glass from Team Glass: Out." ANAIS announced. "Adversary: Unknown."

Everyone was in extreme panic especially the women at the entrance since they don't know what to do to help their friends who are in the actual brink of death. Only Beast and Reaper are the only left conscious on the boulder that they have landed on earlier but Reaper got injured as well with the last fall so he can lose consciousness anytime soon well. At this point, there are still no signs of their mentors barging in for the rescue.

"Hey, Reaper! Don't you pass out on me. You're the brains of our group, right? Think of something that can help us escape from here." Beast exclaimed.

"I can't hold out much longer. My head is badly hit." Reaper responded as he's having a hard time collecting himself after the fall.

Beast deemed Reaper as hopeless at this point so he took it upon himself to think of a plan for the four of them to get out of there. He's thinking that since he's a good climber, he can climb their way to safety but the challenge figuring out how will he carry three people with him if he need to use all of his limbs to climb up. The thought of saving them one at a time crossed his mind as well but there's a high probability that not all of them will be saved because we can't tell how the molten lava and the surrounding will behave.

Before all hope is lost, dozens of glass discs formed a stairs and directed from where their floating boulder is towards the entrance of the cave where the rest oof them are. Although skeptical, Beast carried Glass, Blast and Reaper then took the glass stairway to safety. ANAIS already announced that Glass has already been eliminated from the training and is now in a deep slumber. So, it's a great mystery how he was able to create the glass stairway to save the four of them.

"Reaper from Team Pandora: Out." ANAIS announced as soon as Beast got out of the cave with Glass, Blast and Reaper on his shoulders. "Adversary: Unknown." She continued. Then, the glass stairway that was created out of the blue just shattered into million pieces.

Moments later, the cave was filled with lava but lucky for them since it didn't overflow so they are officially out of danger. Then, the survivors contemplated if they'll wait for the following day for their mentors to come since there are a lot of them who got eliminated or at least one of them can traverse back to the mansion and inform their mentors what happened so they can all be escorted back. However, it seemed that their mentors got a whiff of the situation so Calcipher and Zythandra was seen rushing towards them after roughly an hour or two.
