Nolan had been feeling very anxious since he heard what Bianca said. He simply wanted to ignore it at first as he felt that Sylvia was his slave. He did not need to go around chasing men around her and make her feel important.

But no matter how much he convinced himself, Nolan was unable to sleep all through that night. He only kept thinking about what he heard and if Sylvia would dare to let another man touch her.

He felt hot-headed and very annoyed. He could tell she had a strong effect on him and it was bothering him deeply. So, he was unable to keep calm and found himself prying on them to catch them in the act.

He had gotten what he wanted. Very sooner than he hoped. He walked out of his room in anger, heading for Sylvia's room. As he walked past, a lot of the lack members greeted him but he could not be bothered. His face was taut and his expression was as furrowed.

On getting there, he found Sylvia and Xavier sitting together. And, they were in an inappropriate position.

Sylvia's hand was resting on the palm of Xavier as he knelt in front of her. Nolan halted in his steps. He seemed stunned at the sight in front of him. Slowly, his fingers were clenched tightly. The alpha failed to notice that Xavier was helping her take out something which had pricked her finger.

At once, his anger turned into infuriation.

"How dare you two?!" Those four words weren't asked. They yelled. He began to take fast strides toward them.

To Nolan, he felt disrespected by Xavier. He had specifically warned him two nights back to stay away from his woman but no, the werewolf just didn't listen.

"It is not what you think," Xavier quickly spoke up, moving to Sylvia's front. He was practically trying to protect her from the wrath of the alpha.

As for Sylvia, she panicked a little seeing how annoyed he was. She knew for a fact, that the position she and Xavier were in depicted a different scene. And for an ins and man like Nolan, it would be hard to explain themselves.

There was no way Nolan was going to spare them. Else they found some solid proof to back them up.

As Nolan's footsteps continued to draw closer, her heart began to beat faster. She just hoped that whatever punishment he was going to make them go through, would not affect her plan to get back the pack.

She held on to their arms of Xavier in fear and worry. Nolan finally stopped walking. Sylvia looked up slowly and saw him approximately two feet away from Xavier.

"You have some guts to go against my orders by still coming close to my woman. Worst of all you came into her room," he said.

Sylvia twitched upon hearing his words.

She became angry within herself, hearing the way he claimed ownership of her. As though, she was some sort of property. Just a little while longer and she would get everything back. Then she would make him pay for everything he did to her family, herself, and the rest of the pack members.

"With all due respect, I had no intention of going against you. I had a purpose for coming to see her," Xavier looked up at him and said in an unshakable tone, which was enough to prove that he wasn't telling any lie.

Nolan stretched his neck a bit higher to look at her. "Why are you hiding behind him?"

Hearing him say that, Sylvia's fists tightened and slowly moved away from Xavier's back, making herself visible to Alpha Nolan's line of sight.
