chapter 11- BLAIRE’S pov

There was a knock on the door and I jolted, leaving the world of fantasy I was in but I noticed before then Richard seemed off he already pulled away from me almost like he regretted what happened.

Foolish me, I didn't even realize it or maybe I did but I was being delusional. How could I have thought he was in, he seemed to enjoy the effect he had on me and decided to carry along with it to make me look stupid.

We pulled away from each other but just as I was about to leave he called me back. "You have to continue your training, don't think you're off the hook for the fight. Even if you were dead and resurrected there is no exception." He said disrespectfully.

"Umm… okay," I mumbled. I certainly didn't expect the harshness from his tone, especially after what happened. I thought we had something like a sorta connection.
