"Yo! I've been here since the start of the discussion. But don't mind me. I'll just be here." Shido waved at them cheerfully as he explained.
"A-Alright then." Jiro said unsurely. Hesitating a little, she asked Shido, "So what can you do?
"Hm...as you guys know, my public performances are usually piano and singing, so I guess I can do either one? If none of you can do either, I'll do both, but I'm sure that at least one of you guys can do it."
At this point, Momo said, "Thanks to my etiquette training as a child together with my interest in it, I'm quite familiar with the piano...would that skill prove useful?"
"Woah!! Yaomomo's on the keyboard then!!" Jiro cheered, "Then sensei will be vocals!"
"Synthesizers are essential to club music. Yaomomo, you'll be a huge help!" Jiro said in appreciation.
"I'll do my best!"
"Heyyy, we said girls were gonna dance!! " Mina poked Momo from the back and continued, "But that's cute too, so it's okay!!!"
"Since I'll be doing the bass, we just have guitar left."
"So everyone else will dance?"
While the rest of the class discussed, Tenya rubbed his chin and pondered, "Hm...is this all it usually takes to get a party going...?"
Shoto, who was beside him, heard that and asked, "What about that thing that gets people rowdy?"
"We have to add stagiiiing!!" Mina twirled around and announced.
Some of her classmates didn't know that term, so she searched it up and showed them all.
"For example, this!" Mina explained as she showed a video of a disco party, "Things like sparklers, streamers, or a disco ball. Anything essential to creating the atmosphere is called staging!!"
"Let's make it look like a Disney parade!" Toru clapped her hands as she let out a breath of amazement.
"One that really involved participation! So, for example, for example...Uraraka will make Todoroki and Kirishima float, right!? Then Kirishima will chip away at Todoroki's ice! And then, since Aoyama will be the disco ball...Light will flutter all over like stardust! Team snowman!!"
Mina couldn't stop talking as she explained 'team snowman' to the other students. Shido was also a little speechless at her imagination, but he didn't stop or prohibited it.
Ultimately, it was their festival, so they should enjoy it as much as they can.
At the corner, the people who were dancing discussed.
"Did you say we're borrowing the gym!?" Someone asked, and Shido immediately replied, "Yes. I already made the arrangements for you guys to use the gym for the entirety of one month. If you guys don't want that spot, I'll just cancel the reservation."
"Thanks, sensei!"
While all these happened, the doors to the dormitory suddenly opened, and four students came inside.
Exaggerated smoke came out of their noses as they sighed in relief, knowing that their supplementary classes finally finished for today.
"Now, we can fully participate!"
After finding out how much they had discussed, Ochaco was a little surprised that Jiro wasn't singing. But after knowing that Shido would be the one singing, they didn't mind it anymore, mostly since Jiro was a bit reluctant to sing now that Shido was present.
However, Shido thought for a little before speaking up, "Actually, I think Jiro should have a duo with me."
"""Huh?"""
"You see, I'm only twelve years old, so my voice is still on the higher end of the pitch. However, I think Jiro's husky voice would be a good choice to make it sound even better for a performance like this."
Jiro blushed a little from the compliment from her idol and decided to give it a try. Although she was a fan of rock music, Shido's pop and slight romantic songs were also attractive.
After all, in this age of heroes and villains, romantic songs from the past have died down significantly, and even if there was one, it would only be sub-par.
However, with Shido's sudden appearance five years ago, more and more romantic songs have started to surface once more.
"Alright, then." Jiro went in front of the already prepared mic and started to sing a famous song. Shido didn't slack off and harmonized with her. He, of course, knew the lyrics. Which musician wouldn't know a famous song?
And to say the least, the duo didn't disappoint anyone. Jiro's husky, sexy voice surprisingly complimented well with Shido's soothing voice. It gave the audience a weird feeling; how could it not?
Shido's soothing voice wasn't meant to sing a rock song by itself. It wasn't anything terrible, of course, but it just didn't and couldn't adequately convey the mood. However, combining with Jiro's voice, it turned into the best sound that was ever made.
And there weren't any complications at all. Shido was a professional musician, matching with Jiro's tone and her tune was easy for him.
"MY ears are in heaven!!"
"Such a husky, sexy voice sung together with such a soothing voice!"
""It's unanimous!!""
Everyone agreed that Jiro should sing as well. Jiro was a little dizzy at the thought of being able to sing with her idol but quickly recovered and started the next discussion.
"Now!! We need guitarists!! Two of them! I want to do it!!"
"Playing an instrument is so cool!!" Denki screamed excitedly.
"Let me do it!!" Mineta didn't lag behind and screamed as well.
Katsuki wasn't too impressed by the behavior of those two and barked at them, "I don't care if you want to do it! Do you have the guts to get it done!?"
"I do, I do, I really do!" Denki said as he strapped the guitar around his body, "Guitar is the center of the band, isn't it?!"
Meanwhile, Mineta also picked up the guitar and tried to play it.
Unfortunately, due to his character design, I mean height, he couldn't reach the frat board. Thus he had no other choice but to toss the idea of playing the guitar out of his mind and sulk at the corner.
Those who couldn't play any instrument were at one side discussing the dance with Mina.
After Mineta tossed the guitar aside, Fumikage picked up the guitar and started strumming. The sound he produced sounded...desolate as if he was in a sad and miserable movie.
"Tokoyami!?"
His classmates were surprised at the forlorn sound he had produced but were more surprised that he could play the guitar.
"I had to free myself from the burden of the F cord first." As usual, Fumikage replied in his chuunibyou way before turning towards Mineta, who was sulking at the corner, "Mineta, if you won't play, then I'll strum your parts."
"Have it your way, dammit." With a black face, Mineta retorted to Fumikage before the aura around him became even more depressing.
"This is bullshit, bullshit. Just end already, cultural festival. Let everyone's talents be damned."
Ochaco noticed his mood, and being the kind girl she was, she looked towards Mina, who understood what she wanted to do.
Mina skipped over to the depressed boy and asked, "Mineta! Will you dance if we give you a harem part?"
Instantly, the gloomy aura around him turned into sparkles, bubbles, and flowers.
"Of course. Just come already, cultural festival." Mineta immediately changed his chant, but his tears didn't stop streaming down.
And so, after six hours or so, all roles were decided at 1 o'clock late into the night.
The band team consisted of Jiro (bass and singer), Denki and Fumikage (the guitarists), Katsuki (the drummer), Momo (the keyboardist), and Shido (the singer and keyboardist).
The staging team included Aoyama, Todoroki, Sero, Kirishima, and Koda.
And lastly, the dance team consisted of the other classmates who were not mentioned above, with Aoyama being the exception since he was in both the staging and dance teams.
When the final planning was finally done, Tenya announced, "Tomorrow's gonna be a bust day!!"
When everybody was cheering, Shido cleared his throat, gaining the attention of everyone.
"Yeah, it's one in the morning, so keep your voices low, yeah?"

The next day, the weekend started. Katsuki and his group's temporary license course was also on break this week, so the class plus Shido had time to practice for the school festival.
Katsuki was very motivated to practice, forcing everyone to practice till they drop dead. Shido didn't mind since his stamina was on another level, being a spirit and all. Even after continuously practicing for the entire morning, Shido was fine while the rest of the band members were famished.
They had skipped breakfast after all (A/N: It is not recommended to skip breakfast, guys! So don't), so Shido decided to let them have an hour or two of a break to eat their breakfast and lunch, rest, and regain their energy before practicing again.
The other groups weren't slacking off in anyways either. The dance group went out to the open field and started dancing randomly. Mina was the only one who managed to teach others how to dance correctly.
The staging group went towards the table in the common room at started their planning.
While the band team was resting, Shido went to fetch Eri to walk around together.
"Shido! I want to see your dormitory!"
"Eh? Why, though?"
"Can't I just see how your students are faring?" Eri pouted.
"Fine, fine. But my students are preparing for their school festival, so don't both them, all right?"
"Bleh~" Eri stuck out her tongue, not agreeing or disagreeing with his question.
Shido sighed and teleported both of them to the dormitory.
Eri was wearing a white dress shirt with a frilled collar and a plain red pinafore with two large, golden buttons on either side of her chest. Under this, she wore gray tights and a large set of tan boots. A small dark red messenger bag with the strap sat over her right shoulder, and a little floral pattern decorated one of its sides.
She hasn't changed much over the years and still liked to dress the same way as she did years ago.
It was the first time that Shido bought clothes for her, and he didn't know what she would like, so he just purchased what would look cute on her. Fortunately, she liked it, and it became her favorite outfit now.
Although the original clothes were too small for her now, she went and bought the exact same outfit, just at a larger size so she could fit into it. Apart from her height, she looked exactly the same as she did five years ago.
They decided to appear near the front door, and the moment they did, the girls saw Eri.
"Eri-chan!!" Ochaco and Mina said as they rushed forward and gave her a hug.
It wasn't the first time they met, so Eri didn't shy away and hugged them back.
"Long time no see, Eri-chan! How are you?"
"I'm fine, thank you for asking."
"What a great little outfit." Tsuyu smiled and commented. It might be because she was an older sister herself that she was great at dealing with children.
"Sooo cuteeeee!" Ochaco exclaimed. The girls got busy with Eri while some of the boys questioned their teacher.
"Sensei! Who is she?!"
"You don't remember? Some of you guys might have met her before." Shido tilted his head and replied, counting on his fingers, "The time at the shopping mall incident, the UA sports festival, the infirmary where some of you got healed by her..."
"Hm...some of us might have been too busy to go out or couldn't find the time to see her, so they might not know. And not everyone always gets injured and gets sent to the infirmary. So some of us might not know." Tenya reasoned.
"I see..." Shido agreed and wanted to explain but was interrupted by Ojiro.
"Is she your sister or cousin?"
Shido looked at him with a stupified expression.
"Does she look anything like me?"
"Um...no..." Ojiro rubbed his head ashamedly.
"Then who is she to you?" Mineta asked.
"Her name's Eri." Shido replied with a smile.
"And she's my girlfriend."
