Time passes!
2 years had passed since Sye came to his new world and in these two years he became 9 years old and he did body exercises but his nen exploded.

'Ava that's new, what's this power level business?', Sye was confused at the new change in his status.
[Stats changed to power level to be more helpful in the future and will change according to the world you reside in that's why it says (HxH)]
'That makes more sense then, so how does my power level compare to Netero and Meruem'
[Netero's power level is 290 thousand while Meruem is 320 thousand, the reason why they are close is because firstly Netero trained his body to a high level for this world and secondly because Meruem didn't know how to fully utilise his nen]
'Ok this makes more sense and will help more in the future, and I guess there's no point in checking my ranking in this world yet as 40 thousand is high for me a 9 year old but there are still many people with higher power levels.', Sye was content with this change of the system and with how high his power level is, so with this estimate for the 3 years he has left he could get to a power level of around 140 thousand and his nen can get to around 120 thousand.
Sye knows that he will still be far behind Meruem when he does the Hunter exam but he will still have 1 more year to catch up and he can earn money, so he can buy proper weights and with his talent in nen he should rocket up eventually in that year and with his body he should be able to reach Netero's prime body at around 12 or maybe a level lower but his Hatsu ability and nen amount should make up for everything. This was his plan anyway.
Sye continues doing his training and time keeps passing by.
-1 year later-
Sye could be seen breathing heavily as he had finished his daily routine and is making his way back to his room for the night.
"Just 2 more years to go and the plot will begin, but I'm nearly ready, 3 years until chimera arc and with my new ability I know I should be able to easily become number 1 I just need to perfect it some more.", Sye has created his Hatsu ability and is confident that with it he can be number 1.
-Another year passes-
1 year left until Sye takes the exam and meets all the characters he's seen from the anime.
"Training is going alot faster than I originally thought because I learnt to use my nen to increase the weight of my clothes and I've now mastered the basics completely and nearly mastered the advanced versions of nen and my Hatsu ability keeps rising too. My power level will be higher than originally thought because my body strength is rocketing with these weights but although I have peak talent in nen there's no way to speed it up, well it is still increasing scarily fast just not enough to catch upto the Meruem or Netero in this year but in 2 years I should be close", Sye is excited and worried because although he is catching up he won't be at their exact level and he will have to rely on his secret ability which is only used in emergencies.
Sye continues his training building up his strength for the final year but he knows that he will be able to pass the exam with ease but he is still worried about his combat experience. Although he trains and and hunts he is too strong to fight with any creatures on this island and so his combat experience is lacking he mainly just relies on his instincts, so he's exited to finish the exam and fly through the heavens arena up to the 200th floor and fight opponents that might challenge him and give him good experience.
'Ava what world do you recommend to visit after I have become the peak in this world?', Sye was now eating and having a break while thinking about his future and what the next best world to go to after this one.

'Hm all are good options that give many opportunities to grow stronger and strengthen my foundation, hmm ok I've chosen which world I shall travel to next.', Sye has chosen his next world to travel to of those 4 choices.
After Sye chose his next destination, he slept and was ready to go back to the grind.
Months passed by and the exam was coming closer and closer and Sye knew that the boat arrives on the same day as his birthday, the higher being must of put this into account.
Sye never stopped training and he always visited Mito for food but now he had money to pay her to which she always refused his payment confusing him greatly.
Sye was 11 years old nearly 12 and he was taller, his body was well built and thin but with very compact muscles, his white hair had grown longer and wavy to which he has to tie behind his head, he was debating whether to get it cut, but the biggest change to him was his presence and aura, he seemed more mature and determined, he already adapted to the blood and killing of animals, next he knows it will be humans.
Finally 1 month left till his birthday and till the boat arrives, he was walking to Mito's bar in a good mood but he was starving and just as he was about to enter he was stopped by someone calling out to him,
"Hey, Hey I've never seen you around here before, what's your name", ???.

Ok so I may have done something wrong because my maths is bad and I can't change it now, sorry but we will have to pretend that Gon Killua and Sye all do the exam at 12 years old and the chimera arc starts when they are 13 it won't make much of a difference anyway since it's not like Sye will stay in this world forever, Thanks :)
Also shorter chapter because I just wanna get to the Hunter exam already 😪
