Shadow POV

We returned back to the cave and Bellamy stands to his feet as he sees us all but Lincoln. "Where's Lincoln?" Bellamy asked. "Pike put a billet in his brain" she harshly tells him. "O...""O... I am so sorry" he whispered. Octavia turned around punching Bellamy in the face. I rushed over to her, pushing her away and standing in between the two of them. "No! Octavia that's enough" I tell her, protecting Bellamy once again. "Shadow! Stay out of this" Bellamy hissed at me as he pushed me away. Octavia kept punching him, kneeing him and beating the crap out of him. "That's enough!" Miller tries to stop her but Octavia shoved him away. "Miller! Let her!" Bellamy stated. Octavia kept going and I looked away, not being able to even look. Octavia punched him in the face one more time. "You're dead to me!" She yelled at Bellamy before walking off. I rushed over to Bellamy "Hey, you alright?" I asked him. "Leave me alone" Bellamy tells me as I try and help clean him up. "Look, I'm just trying to help and for your sake I'd take it" I say in a harsh tone. He nodded as I begin cleaning his face.

My father makes a fire with Miller. "I say we run two men patrols around the clock, starting now" Miller advised. "We will do that. But we should be safe here" my father tells them. "The grounders blockade is too close for pike to risk looking for us" he explained. "Yeah, but are we safe from the blockade?" Bryan asked him. "As long as we stay this side of the line, we should be" he tells them. "They're Grounders, you really think they're gonna play by the rules?" Bryan asked him. "Hey. Pike will want you dead too now" Miller informed Bryan. "We take him out. We can go home" Miller tells Bryan. "We take him out then the grounders will lift the blockade" Harper pointed out. "That's right" My father says. "We become the 13th clan, again" He added. "Those were the terms" he tells them all. "Lexa's terms. If what Bellamy says is true and she's dead how do we know the next commander will honor them?" Sinclair asked. "One problem at a time" My father says. "What about Clarke?" Miller asked. "With Lexa gone, she's not safe in Polis" Miller says. "Clarke made her choice" Octavia hissed out. "The only thing that matters now is killing Pike" she tells everyone. "Octavia is right. Once we resume our place in the commanders coalition. Clarke will be safe" he says. "So, how do we do it?" Miller asked. "Bellamy, come in. It's Monty. I'm in trouble" Monty's voice says over my radio in my back pocket. . "Please say you still have your radio?" He begged. My father rushed over to me with Sinclair as I pull it out. "Wait, if we respond and pike is listening—" Bellamy cut me off. "Go to channel 7." "Please say you have your radio. That's seven words after the word trouble" Bellamy explained. "It's code, go to seven" he then adds. I turn the radio to channel seven. "Bellamy are you there?" Monty asked. "Monty, it's Shadow. What's wrong?" I asked him. "Pike knows that I helped you get your father and the others out" he responded. "Can you get to the drop ship?" I asked Monty. "I think so" he responded. "Good. Go there and I'll bring you in" I instructed Monty. "Stay off the radio. Over and out" I added before shoving it back into my pocket. "Wait. What if it's a trap and pike is waiting?" Harper pointed out. "That's why I'm going alone" I tell them all. "Like hell you are" Octavia tells me. "I'm with Octavia" Miller stands to his feet. "Monty saved our lives" Miller added. "I'm going too" My father spoke. "No. You're not" I shake my head. "If it is a trap I'm not marching our entire insurgency into it" I informed them. "To stop me, you're gonna have to kill me" Octavia hissed. "She hopes it's a trap" Bellamy spoke. "He's coming too" Octavia says. "We will need a hostage to trade for Monty" Octavia suggested. "Woah, no" I shake my head. "That's a good plan" my father nodded. "I said no!" I shouted louder. "You know, your feelings for my brother are getting in the way" Octavia hissed out. Bellamy eyes go wide "I don't know what you're talking about, I'm looking out for you because I know your angry right not over Lincoln but it wasn't Bellamy's fault, we could've gotten Lincoln out but he chose to pick his people over you and that's on him" I hissed. Suddenly Octavia slapped me in the face and I went to pounce on her but my father pulled me back. "Enough! We can't do this if we're fighting each other!". He yelled at Octavia and me. "Bellamy is the enemy so he stays chained and we gag him" he instructed. "You can't do this...." I shake my head. "Either you are with us or you can be a hostage as well" Octavia hissed out. I scoffed, shaking my head. "Whatever..." This was stupid and senseless, Bellamy is on our side.

We get to the drop ship, my father and Octavia with me and Bellamy gag and bound. "Monty!" I called out to him. We waited but there was no answer. "We got here first" my father says. "No we didn't" Octavia says as she grabbed a hold of Bellamy and out the blade to his neck. "What are you doing?" I hissed at her. "Get outside! Now!" She yelled. Monty slowly stepped outside with a gun to his head, Pike on the other end holding it. "He followed me, I'm sorry" Monty tells us as my father aimed his gun. "Let him go Pike!" I yelled. "I can't do that" he says. Suddenly a bullet flies at my feet and I jumped. "It's over. Put your weapons down" Pike instructed. "Shoot him" Octavia ordered my father. "Monty's in the shot" He tells her. "Come on Marcus" Pike tells my father. Another bullet goes flying closer to my feet and I moved towards my father. "I promised Monty's mother that I'd bring him home alive so don't make me a lair" he stated. My father lowered his gun "Dad, no" I hissed out as he put his gun down onto the ground. "Now you two" Pike says. Octavia grabbed Bellamy tighter and put the blade to his neck. "What are you doing Octavia?" I asked her. "One in Octavia leg" He spoke. Suddenly Bellamy hit Octavia and knocked the blade from her hand. Just then Pike whistled and a whole team came out and shoved me to the ground, pinning me in the dirt. Pike picked up my gun and Octavia blade. As Bellamy lowered his gag. "Now. You don't look so good" Pike tells Bellamy as a guard stepped pressure onto my back. "I'm fine" he responded. "You got about five seconds to make me believe you're still with me" Pike tells Bellamy. "All the others are in a cave not far from here" Bellamy informed Pike. "You son of a bitch!" I yelled before Octavia tried to run at Bellamy before getting knocked out by a guard. "Give me the coordinates" Pike says. "I don't have the coordinates but I can take you there" he says.

I was bound and gagged by the guards, walking through the woods with Pike at gun point. "Are you sure about the route?" Pike asked. "We're getting close to the blockade line" Pike added. "That's why Kane set up out here. He didn't think we'd risk it" Bellamy says. I can't believe I thought he was on our side. "Well she was wrong" Pike smirked. "What's going to happen to Shadow and my sister?" Bellamy whispered. "I know they have to answer for their crimes but—" Pike cut him off. "I'll tell you what. I'll make the same promise I made Monty's mother. Immunity from all past actions but if either of them screw up again—" Bellamy cut him off this time. "Oh, they won't. I'll make sure of it" Bellamy tells him. We walked further when we reached a sloap. "Hold on" Pike called out. "The cave is just on the other side" Bellamy tells Pike. "Keep a sharp eye out" Pike says. We walked further when a horn blares through the air. "The blockade! Someone get to higher ground!" He shouted and I watch as Bellamy grabbed Pikes gun. "Drop your weapon!" He ordered. "What the hell are you doing?" Pike yelled at Bellamy. "Drop your weapon!" Bellamy yelled louder. I then used my elbow and hit the guard next to me before grabbing his gun and knocking him out as Octavia does the same to the guard next to her. "We bring you Chancellor Pike of sky people!" Bellamy called out to the grounders. "O, translate" Bellamy stated. "Osir lid yo in Chansla Paik kom Skaikru!" Octavia yelled as I removed my gag. "You've killed us all!" Pike yelled at Bellamy. "Take him! Lift the blockade!" Bellamy yelled. "Teik em in, ban disha treibloka we!" Octavia repeated Bellamy words in their language. Suddenly grounders surrounded us as they shoot arrows into the other guards around. Octavia tried to take the knife and stab Pike but my father stops her. "Hey no!" He yelled. "The grounders are gonna need him alive" my father tells her. "They didn't get justice for Finn. We won't get away with that again" She reminded him. "In that case..." Pike runs at Bellamy but a pick up baton and zap him with it before a ground knocked Pike to the ground. A few grounders pick him up "Where are you taking him?" My father asked. "To the new Commander" he explained. "May I join you?" He asked. My father rolled up his sleeve. "We're the 13th clan" he tells the grounder. "Don't slow us down" he ordered. I turned to Bellamy and he cut off the ties that bind my wrist together. "Are you sure?" Monty asked my father. "We know nothing about the new Commander" Monty pointed out. "I'm sure. Go home" My father instructed us. "Tell our people what happened here" he added. "And..." he turned to me. "Tell your mother I'll look out for Clarke" he whispered. I shake my head "Please don't do this..." I begged my father. He sighed before pulling me into a hug. "I will be back before you know it" he tells me. Tears fall down my cheeks as he placed his hand onto the side of my face. "I understand why you have to do this....but it always seems like we're saying goodbye" I choke out. "I know and someday that will change but for now...May we meet again" he tells me. Bellamy waits for me "did you do it for your sister or because it was the ring thing to do?" My father asked Bellamy. "You're welcome" Bellamy nodded. My father grabbed Bellamy arm. "It matters, until you see that you'll still be lost..." He whispered to Bellamy before walking away. Bellamy approached Monty and me. "My mom turned me in" Monty says. "You're family. We'll work it out" I smiled at Monty. A guard tried to stand but Octavia is quick to stab him.

Bellamy walks by my side "Can we talk?" He asked. "About what?" I asked him. "Well about what Octavia said-" I cut him off. "I know what she said Bellamy, doesn't mean it's true" I pointed out. "Then why did you step in front of me when Octavia was beating crap out of me? Why did you take care of my wounds after?" He asked. "Why did you even after I betrayed you. You helped me?" He asked. "Okay!" I swing around and face him. "I still have feelings for you! In spite of everything you've done I can't let you go!" I hissed out. "But we've seen how this end Bellamy, something horrible happens and we end up either blaming each other or pushing the other away" I reminded him. "So yes Bellamy, if you're asking if I love you still the answer is yes. It will always be yes" I confessed. Suddenly Bellamy grabbed me and pulled me to him, crashing his lips onto mine. It felt like everything made sense again. That he was holding me right and all the pain and death didn't feel that bad. I didn't hesitate to kiss him back, wrapping my arms around his neck. "God, I've missed you" Bellamy groaned as he slightly pulls away and resting his forehead against mine. I bite my bottom lip and opened my eyes to see him gazing at me. "I've missed you too Bell..." I say before kissing him.
