Chapter 15: Hel, Nastrond, Valhalla.

AN: I had a comment ask to give Finn a warriors death so he can go to Valhalla.

While researching the Norse, I learnt of Hel: which is for regular people. Also, in the domain of Hela is Nastrond.

Nastrond is where Murderers, rapists and Oath breakers go for Punishment.

I will have Finn go to Hel, but a Price must be paid.

Also, Can anyone tell me if they can see the Side story in Auxillary Chapters?

Story Begins

With Angus and Finn

The Two leave the Alpha station, but instead Angus, leads them around to his army's camp.

Once there, Angus Calls for some Ale.

Once the Ale is received, Finn sits at a fire across from Angus.

Angus, forms a sharp blade out of earth and hands it to Finn

Making another one Angus cuts is hand, letting the blood pool

Angus: Finn we will be doing a prayer for your soul, since you will be punished in life, I do not want you to suffer in Nastrond, I hope Hela will accept you in Hel. Now when I throw My blood in the fire, throw yours in too.

Angus: OH HELA, with me I have a murderer of 13 innocents.

At that moment the blood is thrown in the Fire, causing the Flames to freeze and the area to frost over.

Angus: I Ask of you to take him to Hel and not allow him to suffer Nastrond.

A voice echoed from all around, spooking many watchers.

Hela: why, should a murderer be let to rest?

Angus: Soon the living will punish him for his crimes. He will suffer in life for his deeds, all I ask is for him to be un tortured in death.

Hela: Such a wish, requires a price to be paid. I sense the blessing of Odin on you. In payment, you must hang yourself from the root of Ygdrasil, on the Hill over yonder for 2 days.

(AN: Roots of Ygdrasil are Abnormally large Ash Trees)

Finn: no Angus, don't take the offer, it is my Crime, let me take punishment

Angus ignored Finn, he knew he could survive.

Angus: Hela, I accept your terms. In two days, Finn will be sent to you.

Once the Bargain is reached, the fire dies out and the temperature goes back to normal.

Angus then went to look for a rope, once it was found he made a noose.

With the Protesting Finn beside him he goes to tell Garzol and Runeskru that was present of the deals.

Octavia and Harper were horrified that Angus would make such a deal as to hang himself.

Wells: how will you survive hanging for 2 days?

Angus: I have a strong and muscular neck (HA HA)

Angus: Garzol, can I ask you to guard me when I am in the tree?

Garzol agreed

Once the arrangement was made, Angus went off to the Grounders without Finn.

With Lexa, Indra, Anya, Gustus and Angus.

Lexa: why have you come without the murderer?

Angus: I have Bargained with a god to save his soul from torment.

Lexa: what is the Bargain, and Why does it bother us?

Angus: for 2 days I will hang from that Ash tree on the hill. Once those days have passed you will have Finn to do with as you, please.

Once this was said Angus left without waiting for a reply.

Trudging up the hill, he was quickly joined by Bent, Bairn and Garzol.

Bairn: I hear you made a deal with Hela?

Angus: yes, I will hang for two days. Can I ask you to protect my people in my absence

Bent: No need to ask, us of Beaver Plains will protect them.

The Other two also agreed.

Hearing this Angus threw his Rope over the thickest looking Branch, and put the noose around his neck.

Bairn then hoisted the rope around the Base of the tree, so that Angus was 3 feet off the ground.

Shortly after being hung, his eyes started going fuzzy – shit I might have been a bit arrogant, and might die—

All was dark

Then Angus found himself at a feasting table with many around him.

Looing across the table he saw an old Man with one eye sitting on an oaken throne.

This was Odin

Angus: AM I not dead? Shouldn't I be in Hel since I did not die on the Battle field?

Odin: you are only here for a short while. I am protecting your soul from entering the Afterlife.

Angus bowed: thank you, for keeping me alive after all those boons you granted me.

Odin: Get up Lad, the future Allfather should not bow. Drink, Feast for tonight is one to Celebrate, your victory over those of Trikru. Tomorrow, my son Thor will train you for war!

A bellowing laughter came with a slam of the great oaken doors.

A large Man with golden locks of hair Came bursting through (AN: if you get a chance search the song Hair by the cowsills, it is really good).

This was Thor

Thor: Welcome, little Brother! I have seen you outdrink a giant and a Dwarf, lets see if you can out drink a God!

Angus: Brother? What do you mean.

Thor: Odin has blessed you, making you kin, and since you are the youngest you are now Little Brother.

Angus only grinned and grabbed two Steins before dipping them into an open barrel of ale.

He passed one to Thor, they clung the steins together before downing them.

Once they were done, Thor threw his mug to the ground and instead grabbed 2 unopened barrels.

Thor: Come Brother, lets drink and we can tell tales of battle.

For hours it was like there was a never-ending river of ale. Meat of any animal one could think. Elephant, Bear, Moose, Goat and many others.

By the end of the night Angus, some how ended up in a bed, he has no clue how.

The next morning, Thor and Angus broke their fast together.

Thor: Brother, lets see you use an axe, Next time you are here uncle Loki will teach you the Spear.

(AN: in this Story I will use the Myth that Loki is Brother to Odin. Hela is Lokis child along with Sleipnir, Jormugandr, Fenrir and the other ones I have not named.)

Hearing this Angus Picked up an axe that was similar to his on Midgard.

Immediately he rushed to Thor, and swung down. But Thor swung his hammer sending Angus Flying.

Angus Landed and Swore.

Thor: You are weak Brother! But I will beat the muscle into you.

For the remaining of the day, 100s of rounds were called in Thors favour. Angus was constantly beaten into the Ground or any other surface available.

Despite the pain, Angus could notice that he was getting stronger and faster, but still he was no match for Thor.

By the end of the day, Angus was able to cut Thors right Bicep.

This Made all watcher cheer, And Thor to Drag Angus off for drinks.

There was another feast, and once it was Done Angus went to bed but when he opened his eyes he was bac on earth.

Garzol: Well, well. I see you are awake now. Your Girls will be happy to hear that.

Angus was then let down from the tree.

They then went to Gather Finn, but on the way there Angus received many Hugs and claps on the back.

Once Finn was Found, he was taken to Trikru without any fanfare.

At the Grounder camp

Lexa: I watched you hang for 2 days, How did you survive?

Angus: My Gods protected me, and took me to their halls for feasting.

Lexa then Turned to Gustus and told him to take Finn away.

Angus: now that the Deal has Been completed, I propose that the Coalition allies with Skaikru and Runeskru in Fighting the Mountain men.

Lexa: Why should we do so?

Indra: if we help you take down the Mountain, what keeps your people from inhabitating it.

Angus: Runes Kru will be going to the west at the Border of Rock clan, lue cliff and Azgeda. The Others of Skaikru, will most likely stay here.

Lexa: If we are to help you, how will we deal with the Fog?

Angus: I have someone trained in Air Magic. They can deal with it.

Lexa, how about the guns?

Angus: We have many Earth Magic users. They can make shield to deflect the Guns.

Angus: Can your Mages not make Magic Shields?

Lexa: We have Very few that I am willing to commit, since you did kill 300 of them. I can only supply 100.

Angus: Alright you will have them on defence, While My magic users will do offence.

After this Angus and Lexa came to an agreement, and shook on it.

During this Time Neither notice that there were Mountain Men Soldiers observing them.

At High Noon, After the Ally agreement was made, Finn was Brought out and Tied to a pole.

Lexa then Announced to the Relatives of the villagers that Finn killed to Step forward.

Handing the First one a knife, they all took turns in placing a stab on Finn's Body.

At the 99th cut, Lexa finally gave the ending blow by slitting his throat.

With Finns Death, the Grudge came to an end.
