14 Chapter 11: Well fuck you then!

Begin Story
The Next Day.
The team that was going out to talk to Trikru was putting on armour that Angus made the Day before. These Armours had three types of runes.
1- Strong defence 2-Magic resistance 3- Weight reducing
These were not the best set of Armours one would ever see, but due to inexperience, this was the best they would have for now.
Earlier that morning
Angus decided that a gift would be good to start on a smoother point with Trikru.
So, he packed up some dried meat and a deer pelt. Then he made a 1 ft tall Idol of Baldr, with the runes of Heat and Light drawn on. This idol Will keep a radius of 10 ft warm at 26 Degrees Celsius. This would be great in the winter for Trikru, since gathering wood is a never ending chore in winter.
Once the Team was ready, they got into formation and jogged to the bridge without any Weapons.
1km away at the Bridge.
The Delinquents, arrived at the bridge. There they only spotted Lincoln in the center of the bridge.
Angus, seeing Lincoln had John create a campfire.
Then Angus approached Lincoln while motioning for the others to stay put.
Angus did his traditional fist on breast greeting: Hello, Lincoln kom Trikru. Where is your leader, that you wanted us to meet.
Lincoln: Greetings Angus kom Skaikru. They should arrive shortly.
Then he gestured to the bundle in Angus's arm.
Lincoln: I hope you did not bring weapons.
Angus: No, this is a gift. We are all unarmed, so I hope you have not led us to our death.
Lincoln: I will not kill Annes people in such a way.
Angus Nodded.
Shortly after, a procession of 7 horsemen came, the Leading Woman seemed to command respect.
The woman then greeted Lincoln.
The woman soon the turned to Angus.

Angus: Greetings I am Angus, Heda kom Skaikru on the ground.
The Woman then spoke: I am Anya kom Trikru. And you are invaders on our land.
Angus: That is what we are here to talk about today. But before we continue, I have a gift for you to take to your people.

Angus then gave the gifts to Lincoln who then brought them to Anya.
Angus: First is smoked meat and a Deer pelt from your land. Second you will see an Idol of one of my gods. Baldr. He is the god of light and Courage. I have put runes on it to produce heat and light for your people. Please accept it as our gratitude for landing on your land.
Anya gained an impressed look. She did not expect the Skaikru man to follow any polite customs of her people. She talked to Lincoln earlier and he said he did not teach any customs.
Anya: I see you did not Bring weapons as we asked. Are you not afraid, since we brought ours?
Angus then let a little Intimidation aura off.
This Caused the horses to real back and Anya to flinch.
Angus: My People are not so weak as to Bare our bellies in fear. I have taught them the magic of my Gods. I have Fought with Dwarves. You might take a few of us. But what is your cost? Is it worth it.
Anya took a few moments to compose herself.
Anya: I see you have started a fire. May we approach and talk there?
Angus: Yes, Follow me.
They then approached the rest of Angus's team at the Fire. They all Stood up and gave the Greeting that Angus used.
Anya then Sat down on a raised earth Bench. Her Six warriors stood behind her.
Angus then Sat across from her with Octavia, Harper and Clarke. The others stood behind them. Prepared for anything.
Anya: Even though your Gift was thoughtful and will be of much use in the winters to come. Your people came down from the sky, you hunt on our land and cut our trees. Angus: No, I will do no such thing. Since I am the Leader of those on the ground, I must protect them, as they protect me.
This got smiles from all of his friends.
Angus: Our first day here. One of yours Attacked one of mine. Then your Man Lincoln, Captured one of ours. But he did save her life from the fog. Of which we are grateful, we have seen its effects.
Lincoln was told if he answered questions, he would not be harmed. Thought he did not. He didn't even give his name. So, this caused my people to resort to heavier methods to get the needed information.
Anya: Hand over the man who beat ours, and the talks will Continue.
Angus then repeated himself: NO. I plan to move My people towards the west outside of your border. But the people from above will need land to call theirs.
At this moment Angus knew he fucked up.
Anya quirked a brow.
Anya: You greeted yourself as the Heda of skaikru on the ground, and now you refer to them as a separate entity. Does this Mean you are not the leader?
Angus then decided to tell the truth so as not to rock the boat more.
Angus: The home in the sky is dying. So as to save the people, Our Leaders sent down those who have committed a crime. Those Sent down are my people. We have chosen to make our own tribe. What we want is to gain a treaty to allow the others to come down without war.
Anya: You Mean to tell me, that you have more warriors above?
This time Wells spoke.
Wells: Not just warriors, we have many civilians up there who just want to live.

Angus: As my man Wells said, the people above just want to live. I am sure I can get them to pay a tariff, in food or work to your people when they come down.
Anya then stood.

Anya then left, ignoring the delinquents' arguments.
Above the earth in the Ark, day of meeting at bridge.

8 days ago.
That was when my son and 100 others were sent to earth
That very same day, the bands showed that 80 of them died. There was no indication as to the why.
My son showed up as alive, along with Clarke and some others
Now two days ago all bands indicated dead.

I have been able to prevent her floating, but her being unstable does not bode well for us.
My mind seems to be failing due to all these events. I really should retire.
Back on earth.
Angus's team started in formation back to the shuttle.
On the way, they encountered two dozen hostile Trikru.
One Grounder who used magic, shot out an acrid purple ball of magic.
Octavia, saw this and yelled duck.
So, the Earth Benders made a dome.
When the spell hit the dome, the earth started to decay and fall apart.
But at that very moment Angus, blew the dome outwards. The Shrapnel killed a few Trikru.
Angus, then sent a concentrated beam of fire towards the magician, who was to slow to dodge.
Once the magic user was dead.
They were able to quickly kill the rest. Though right after everyone, except for John, Wells and Angus Started puking, due to seeing human death up close for the first time.
Angus, then urged everyone to continue on before more attacks came.
Quickly they got back to the shuttle.
Angus, then ordered the Gates to be Sealed, and call everyone for a meeting.
He gave them the short version of what happened, and that they had 10 days to leave before the war started.
Bellamy then spoke
Bellamy: They Might say we can leave now, but they just sent warriors to attack us on our way back. I do not believe they will let us flee.
The 100 then shouted out

Angus Hearing the roars, decided he too would fight. He will train these Delinquents, young men and women. These were his people. So, he decided to ask them
Angus: Will you Fight under the Banner of the Skaikru or will you fight for a new Banner.
All of a sudden, a chant started forming from the back of the crowd.

Angus Let out a Mighty yell that could be heard By Anya kilometres away.
Angus: THEN LET US FIGHT, WE WILL SHOW THOSE TREE HUGGING BASTARDS NOT TO ATTACK RUNESKRU.
Angus: I will amp up training. I will Have John teach Fire Magic, while Wells will teach earth magic. I want everyone to put there all into this along with your current tasks be it Construction, smithing, hunting or smelting.
I will require 9 volunteers to train as squad leaders.
Quickly 9 out of 30 volunteers were chosen.
Training starts tomorrow. The rest of todays focus will be your jobs get as much done as possible before the grounders come.
Angus then went off to the Blacksmith.
Once there, he was joined by the other smiths.
Smith#1: Alright chief of Runeskru, what do you want us to make.
Angus, decided to teach them some folding techniques, this did slow the work down but did make the products stronger.
Angus then went on to make personal weapons and armour for himself.
He Started with the Spear. Using a winged Viking spearhead.
The runes he engraved on the shaft were
1-stong defence 2- size changing (shortens to 4ft and elongates to 12 ft and anywhere in between) 3- return to owner blood rune (think of Mjolnir) 4- grime cleaning
For the Spear head the runes were
1- Ever sharp 2- create light (this is for night and cave fighting.
Next was the axe. This he went for the traditional bearded axe. Runes were
1- Weight increase to those not the owner. 2- ever sharp 3- grime cleaning.
The Armour
Had only a weight reduction rune and Strong defence and Magic Resistance.
The Helmet was the stereotypical Viking helmet with a nose and cheek guards.
These runes were the same as the armour, but also had Air purifier and Debree deflector.
The Chainmail, had Strong defence and Magic resistance
The round Shield Had Strong defence and Magic deflection. (This would allow certain magics to bounce back towards the attacker.)
Once these were made. Angus went on to help the other smiths mass produce, armours, swords axes, shields and spears. At the same time, the runes crafters were etching in many different runes on to each piece of equipment.
During this whole time
The rest of the Camp was Bustling, those who could used their element in their work, did so they could get extra practice in.
And those who were free from work went hunting and gathering to stock pile food, one of these people were Jasper. (AN: Can one of you guess the importance of him gathering food?)
End of day 8
Day 9 on earth
As Runeskru was preparing for the day of training, they Saw, A space shuttle fall From the Sky.
Seeing this Angus, put his regular team of Bellamy, Wells, John, Amir, Octavia and Harper in charge of the Formation and Magic training.
He then Made way for the shuttle.
Angus—About time, I was starting to think they would go ahead for suicide—
The shuttle was not too far, only 2km. But with Angus's ever-increasing agility that was a walk in the park.
Angus, then Knocked on the door of the pod.
No one answered so he tore the door off the pod. There was an unconscious pilot.
Deciding to wake them up at the shuttle He jumped on top of the pod and Bended the earth to move it.
Within ten minutes he was at the camp of Runeskru.
At this time the Pilot woke up and took of her helmet.
Pilot: Who are you?
Angus then introduced himself and asked for her name
Pilot: My name is Raven Reyes. Are you apart of the 100?
Angus: Yes, we are mostly all alive.
Raven: Do you know Finn or Clarke?
At this time a small crowd formed, and Clarke and Finn stepped forward.
Finn: Raven? What are you doing here?
Raven: I came down here to see if you were alive, along with Abbey Griffins Daughter.
Clarke: That's me, why did she send you?
Raven: She did not believe that you were dead.
Raven: Why did you guys remove the Bands?
Angus: we had no other choice. There are other people and things living down here, and Mount weather is already occupied. SO, I had Somebody try to make a device to Contact the Ark, but it fried the other bands.
Raven: Alright good, I have a radio. We need to let them know you are alive. Since in 3 weeks they plan to start killing people to conserve air.
Raven then went to the Space pod to use the radio. But when she Tried to, it was found to not be working.
Raven: Fucking piece of crap.
Turning to Angus
Raven: its broken, I need time to fix it.
Angus agreed then started moving the pod closer to the shuttle with earth bending.
Seeing this Raven was shocked.
Quickly Finn and Clarke started the explanation on magic, and the other things down here on earth.
Raven had to sit down.
Racen: Holy shit, does the universe want us to die? How will we be safe?

Monty: I will help, follow me

For the rest of the day, it was back to training. Every body doing jobs took rotations to do Fighting/ formations, and Magic. They were divided into squads of 9 with 1 added as the leader.
So, 10 squads of 10, with everyone being able to use magic, thought not everyone learnt the Earth or fire magic, and being armed with rune covered armour and weapons. Runeskru was starting to look dangerous.
At the same time somewhere in the forest.

Back at the Shuttle.
The rest of the day, was continuous training.
During this time
Clarke took 2 volunteers, and taught them how to wrap wounds and injuries, along with showing some medicinal herbs she has found down on earth.
Monty and Raven continued running checks on the radio to find what was wrong.
Monty: SO, you said you came down looking for Finn, is he a Friend or something?

Day 10 was another day full of training and work.

At that moment Raven and Monty rushed in.

Everyone goes over to the Radio in the Drop pod.

Angus: The Bunker is occupied by potential threats. Also, there are other Sapiens and monsters alive on earth.
Angus: 2 have died from the landing, and 2 from an acid fog sent by Mount weather.
Angus: the earth is livable, lots of animals and plants, clean water also.
Only problem is we have landed right in someone else's land. We tried to make peace but war has been declared, the attack will be in 3 days. Can we have an ETA on your arrival to earth.
Jaha: to be aligned with your position again will be 1 week. At that time we will send Drop ships of resources and men down. Is there anything else that we should know?
Wells then decided to take the receiver

They then, hang up the radio.
On the Ark, A meeting was organised to Prepare for going to earth.
And unknown to Jaha and many others a revolt was being planned behind the scene.
Back on the earth
Day 14
The Past two days were the same. Training and Preparing for the Attack.
During this time Raven was planning a fail safe where, the survivors will flee to the shuttle, which will let off a gout of Flames, killing all in one action.
On the 14 day. Which was one day before the attack, Angus made 500 exploding runes.
200 of which he scattered around the Bridge that the Trikru will come from.
The others will be littered around the Runekru camp before the battle.
The remainder of the 14th day was spent resting, and chatting with friends, since no one knew what will happen the next day.
Day 15.
Angus sent Finn out to report on what happens at the bridge where Trikru will Cross.
Upon his return, he stated that out of the estimated 4000, of which 600 grounders were killed or injured.
The rest of the army has set up camp.
For the rest of the Day Runeskru kept a vigil, and continued practicing their magic.
At night time, Angus Called a meeting.
Angus: Tomorrow might be our last day together; I hope we survive but odds are many will not. If any of you have second thoughts, please take some rations and leave now.

If you are captured by the enemy after this battle, do not worry about Betraying Runeskru, Your life is the most important, survive and bide your time to take revenge. Not only for yourself, but also for your brethren of Runeskru.

Angus who was joined by Octavia, Harper, Clarke, Wells, and Bellamy, did a prayer to Odin

Angus then spoke: Oh Odin Allfather of the Norse, watch over us tomorrow in our battle, Aid us so that our magic does not fail us. And please send your Valkyries to take us to Valhalla if one of us were to fall tomorrow.
Once the Prayer was done, Angus then sat down.
Raven: Do you really think we have such a low chance to win tomorrow, that you would pray to an imaginary person?
Angus: Magic Exists, do not doubt that gods really do exist.
Silence was kept until John noticed that Harper and Octavia were hugging Angus's arms.
John: so, Bellamy what do you think of Angus taking your little sister away.

Wells: Hmm that's nice that you have calmed down Bellamy. Anyway, After the Battle, will we stay or move? Since we have gotten confirmation that the Arkers will come down in 2 days.
Angus: I think we will move first then meet the Arkers with a small group, so as not to be forced to stay with them, since it will be easier to run away in small numbers.
Day 16
Runeskru stood on top of the walls and towers, each armed with explosive runestones, bows and other weapons.
Angus was simply looking into the distance while using Earth sense to find that All of Trikru were heading for the Main Gate and not Circling around. There were 3300 warriors, one of which was that bitch Anya.
A bull horn was Heard in the air before a line of Trikru stepped into sight. These people were Holding what seemed to be Staffs with a stone on top.
There were about 300 of them. Once these mages were ready Balls of light came Flying at the wall and those ontop. Many ducked but 2 were hit by the magic. One rotted before everyones eyes, while the other simply burst into chunks.
(AN: Trikru will use a Bastardised version of Harry potter Magic, like exploding, cutting, rotting curses. But there ill be no Transfiguration or killing curse.)
Seeing this 20 Earth Benders plus Angus, Started Sending Stone Bullet at the Enemy.
They were able to kill 50 before the others got a magic shield up.
The Grounders sent another Volley, before the Mass of warriors Came Charging
The Trikru Mages then Started concentrating on the Gate, sending Piercing and Blasting spells.
Angus, told Wells to Concentrate on keeping the Gate intact, while he would target the Trikru Mages.
Angus, then ducked behind the wall and etched a new rune on his spear. This was Magic Piercing. With the Return rune that was already added, he can now throw the spear and recall it at will while bypassing the magic shields.
As this is happening the Rest of Runeskru are fighting with arrows, earth and fire. Since the grounders have not gotten inside the wall yet.
Angus, sent another Wave of Earth bullets at the mages, killing 75. Once the Magic Shields were up, Angus Started throwing his spear. The first Shield it passed and killed a Mage, the other Mages were stunned and accidentally lowered their Shields, and before they could raise them again Angus killed another 50.
During this Time, all of the exploding runestones were used up, and the First Trikru Warrior mad his way on top of the Wall in Angus Mind—The Slipping runes must have failed or they had a ladder. —
