Lightning Dragon Legion

It's a -not so pleasant- sight...

The battlefield is filled with corpses.

But I can't act yet. I have to wait for the perfect moment.

Obviously, I will interfere if the Orcs start eating the Ogre corpses since I won't be able to revive them then. Thankfully, the living ogres aren't allowing that.

I've already done some behind-the-scenes work though. I created some artificial obstacles and distractions for the escaping ogres. I wanted the future Benimaru and the gang present here when I interfered.

It seems that in the original story, they escaped quickly, but this time, I hindered them, making them rethink their decisions.

And it has worked!!

All of the 6 ogres who are supposed to have escaped have returned to the ruins of their village.

Clones are so convenient.

I had already deployed a second clone to deal with another variable.

"Nooo... Please, no!"

"Stop it you pig!!"

"Goddmanit!!"

Oooh it seems that the battle has finally ended.

Can't let Geld eat my future Legionaries now, can I? Time to make my entrance.

Hmmmm.... How to do this... Let's try something out.

Coming out of a nearby shadow, I shoot a Black Lightning Bolt at the Orc lord.

*BOOM*

"Gottem" 

Bullseye.

"Let's see.....how to do this.... I AM HERE!!!" I yell, making my entrance.

Ahh. Nope.

"NAW! That was cringe as hell! How does All Might pull that off? Anyways, I am here, to save you all...."

I've got to remember to not do that again.

I aspire to be like Shadow, how does he pull off these cringey anime cliches so perfectly??

Anyways--

"HOHOHOOO, who're you?!!" Fatman *cough* I mean Footman demanded.

Nah you know what, Imma call him Fatman.

"Why would I tell you, Fatman? And what's with that Santa Clause ass laugh?"

"Huh?!! Did you just call me FAT!!"

"Hey hey hey.... Don't cancel me..... Fatman"

"YOOOUUUU---"

He's quite easy to provoke. 

Seething with anger, he rolls himself into a ball and starts approaching me at high speeds.

"Oh yeah bring it on!!"

This is the first time I will be able to unleash my full physical strength.

Hahahahaa... I'm excited.

He accelerates constantly, reaching insane speeds, a result of his Unique Skill [Amplifier].

The ground is torn apart by his advance, debris flying everywhere, and the ogres barely avoid it.

Meanwhile my man Geld's just taking it like a champ, even when a large chunk hits his face.

No time for this, I have to focus.

Even though my [Thought Acceleration] was cranked at full capacity, Fatman was still very fast.

"[External Armor], [Deathblight]"

Obsidian liquid started covering my hand and formed a liquid.

In just a moment, it hardened into a Unique-Grade armor.

Soon after, dark miasma poured out of my hand and formed a layer of deathly magical aura.

And then finally, I applied the last skill required for the art, [Spatial Manipulation].

As the spinning ball approached me, I shot my fist ahead and--

"Black Flash"

*BOOM*

I hit Fatman with all my strength. The collision caused an immense shockwave, destroying everything in the area.

The giant ball went flying.

"Damn."

I stood there, staring at my fist, which was bleeding.

The armor was gone, shattered, and I could feel my bones creaking.

No matter, they would heal quickly.

On the other hand, Fatman was nowhere to be seen.

After a few seconds, another boom became audible in the distance.

"He had a nasty crash huh... Well, I'm not done yet."

I want to fight more.

I'm not satisfied just yet.

I created a clone of myself, and then I launched myself in the direction of Fatman.

I reached there in an instant, with [Gravity Flight] and [Ultra Acceleration].

"Hehehaa... Get up Fatman, you're gonna be my punching bag for a while..."

Ashborne's Clone POV:

The main body's gone to fight Fatman. 

While this body will stay here to deal with the situation. 

The situation in question was quite a funny one. 

Geld was just standing there, confused as hell. While the ogres were lying on the ground, absolutely flabbergasted. 

"Wh-who are y-you?" the Village leader asked, his voice filled with fear. 

"You can call me Ashborne. And I am here to save you all..."

"Why would a greater Majin such as yourself want to save us?"

"Don't bother yourself with that ogre, just know that every member of your village will make it out alive," I replied to him. 

It's necessary to instill a sense of awe and debt into the ogres. My image in their mind should be one of mystery and loyalty. 

"How is that possible? I realize your power, however that is impossible, especially when you are alone, " said future Benimaru's father. 

"Hehehahaa... Who said I'm alone?"

"What do you mean?"

"I'll just show you.....COME TO ME, MY LEGION!!!!"

The shadows started moving. 

Hundreds of monsters started appearing. 

Ogres, Death Wolves, Bats and so on. 

In just a few seconds, the village was populated with variety of monsters. 

The Legion had expanded quite a lot after I named those 500 or so goblins from Jura. All of them had also evolved into Dark Ogres. 

"Wh-what is all this!!?"

To a normal person, this sight would be incomprehensible. Something only the likes of a Demon Lord could achieve. 

"One more thing Village Chief. I will give you an opportunity, an opportunity to fight back. I will give you power and protection. In return, I ask your undying loyalty. How about it?" I offered. 

"I--"

"Make your decision fast, the fate of your village depends on it ogre." I rushed him. 

*SIGH*

"Very well. I shall put my trust in you, for the sake of the future. I pledge my loyalty to you, Lord Ashborne!!"

Nice. 

Now I can do my thing without hesitation. 

"Good choice.... Now witness upon a miracle, [SOUL SEIZE]"

My magicules spread out over a large area, latching on to the souls of ogres of the village. 

"Become a part of my Legion!!"

And so they did. 

Their souls became a part of the Soul Circuit, and their bodies mutated into Dark Ogres. 

It was not an evolution, just a transition. 

And then they gained power, power bestowed upon them by me. 

Their wounds started to regenerate, and their will seemed to be returning. 

"How did you do this, my Lord?"

"It is one of my powers, you are now a part of my Legion. Remember that, and always strive to showcase the might and honor of the Legion"

"YES, my Lord!!" He yelled, as he got on his knees and bowed. 

Following his example, the other ogres who weren't in the midst of a fight joined him. Even future Beni had gotten up. 

"We swear to uphold the honor of the Legion, Lord Ashborne!!!"

Good good. 

"Hahahahaa, I'm sure you will. Now go and slay those orcs. Prove your worth!! And don't worry about the Orc Lord here. "

Now then. 

"Coatl"

"I'm here my Lord"

He teleported to my location instantly. 

"I want to you deal with Geld here, without killing him. Let's see how strong you've become" I ordered him. 

As he was now, he was a pretty good match for Geld, at least in Geld's current state. 

If he awakened as the Orc Disaster, Coatl would be in trouble. 

Immediately after I gave out the order, Coatl said, "As you command, my Lord. "

He then turned to his target, who was standing there, preparing to attack. 

Slowly, he began enlarging, growing to a size where he had both immense strength and speed. 

He grew to a size of around 5-6 meters, enough win against Geld in a contest of volume.

"[Partial Lightning Transformation]"

The lower half of his body lit up with blackish electricity.

*RUMBLE*

Clouds started appearing in the sky, with lightning flashing and thunder rumbling.

3 gigantic bolts of lightning struck Geld directly, controlled by Coatl. At the same time, he charged at Geld at full speed.

*BOOM*

As the smoke and dust cleared up, Geld's bleeding body was revealed.

He was just standing there, smoke rising from his body. While Coatl was coiled around his body, trying to squeeze him to death.

Suddenly, Geld's eyes went red, and he began trying to get free of Coatl's hold. He tried to wave his arms around and swing his Meat Cleaver.

But no matter what he tried, he couldn't get out.

*BOOM*

"Just stop struggling!!", Coatl yelled, as he discharged a huge amount of dark lightning into Geld.

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

He kept repeatedly roasting Geld with lightning, over and over again.

Coatl is really eager to prove himself it seems.

"Haaghhhuhhhh...."

The Orc began uttering guttural sounds, his Meat Cleaver fallen out of his hands.

*CRUNCH*

"ARGHHGHH!!"

What the hell. That was unexpected.

Geld had just bit into Coatl. It seems that he's determined Coatl too strong to be physically overpowered.

And now he was using his greatest strength.

Well even so, there's no need to worry. I know Coatl's power, he'll get by easily.

"DAMN IT!!"

*BOOM*

With a last explosion, Coatl let go of Geld's body and flew into the air.

"YOU BASTARD!! YOU DARE HARM THIS BODY GIVEN TO ME BY LORD ASHBORNE!!"

He's pissed now eh. I have to enclose this area in a barrier, otherwise the village and everyone it will be destroyed.

This is my power.

Black Lightning engulfed me as I rose up into the sky.

I grew several times in size, and my scales began transforming.

I could see my Lord putting up a barrier and looking at me.

'He believes in me!!'

"You're done for, you pig!!"

Hahahahahaaa.

I visualized an army.

A sky filled with my Lightning, my Army.

"[Azure Dragon Legion]"

*RUMBLE* *RUMBLE*

The sky started shaking.

I had completed my Ascension.

I had become Shenlong, God of the Skies.

I hope Lord Ashborne is proud of me, after all, he's the source and reason for my power.

I'm sure he told me about Shenlong and those other legends because he knew that I could achieve this.

Now then--

Hundreds of lightning bolts were released from my body and separated to form individual flying entities.

This is my Azure Dragon Legion.

An army of Lightning dragons, obliterating everything in my Lord's way.

And now, I shall obliterate this vile orc.
