Lily furrowed her brow. "Stop talking about that person. I can't possibly be stressed over that womanizer." Lily said, crossing her arms.

"Oh, come on. That's the truth. You spent an entire week drowning your sorrows after breaking up with your boyfriend," Cindy countered.

What Cindy said was true. Lily had spent the past week drowning her sorrows by drinking constantly. She was really depressed after the breakup.

"Well, I did drink, but not that much," Lily tried to deny the reality.

"Lily! You say drinking for a whole week isn't much? It seems like you should go to the doctor to check if your brain is still functioning," Cindy remarked sarcastically.

"Oh, come on. It's all part of the cycle when you break up with your boyfriend, and thanks to that, I have genuinely moved on from that guy," Lily said confidently.

Cindy squinted her eyes. "Oh really? Are you sure you're 100% moved on?" she asked, skeptical and unconvinced by Lily's statement.

"I'm 100% moved on, period," Lily asserted.

Cindy continued to furrow her brows, not believing Lily's words. Having spent time with Lily since childhood, Cindy could discern almost all of Lily's words and habits. Cindy was sure that Lily still couldn't forget her ex-boyfriend.

"Oh come on, don't stare at me like that. You said you wanted to know if Mr. Tres interests me, right?" Lily said, attempting to change the subject.

Cindy's face lit up, disregarding the fact that her friend wanted to shift the conversation. "Yes, tell me!" she exclaimed enthusiastically.

Lily smiled. "I don't think Mr. Tres is the type who interests me, but I met a man earlier who really caught my interest."

Cindy was surprised by Lily's confession. "A man who really caught your interest? Who is he? How did you meet him? What made you interested in him?" Cindy asked, curious.

Lily sighed and began telling about the man she bumped into in front of the Delima Putih company's lift. She described the man's face, body, and attire in detail. She also narrated how the man offered help.

Cindy listened to Lily's story with keen interest. She felt happy to see Lily looking enthusiastic and radiant. She thought that the man might be someone who could help Lily forget her ex-boyfriend.

"Lily, you're really lucky! That man sounds very handsome and cool. Do you know his name? Did you exchange phone numbers or social media with him? Do you plan to meet him again?" Cindy asked with enthusiasm.

Lily shook her head. "I don't know his name. I also didn't exchange phone numbers or social media with him. I just thanked him and went straight to the lift. I don't plan to meet him again. I'm just interested in him, not in love with him," Lily honestly stated.

Cindy frowned. "Lily, you're too cold and reserved. You just met a man who is your type, but you don't even try to get to know him better. You don't know; maybe he's your destiny. You have to find out who he is and how to contact him. You have to give yourself a chance to be happy," Cindy said seriously.

Lily smiled and stroked Cindy's hair. "Cindy, you're too romantic and excessive. You just heard my story, but you're already thinking that he's my soulmate. You don't know; maybe he already has a girlfriend or a wife. You have to be realistic and rational. You can't force something that isn't there," Lily said wisely.

Cindy sighed and looked at Lily affectionately. "Lily, you're too smart and cautious. You always think logically, but you forget about feelings. You don't know; maybe he also feels the same way about you. You have to be brave and confident. You can't shut yourself off from love," Cindy said gently.

Lily and Cindy exchanged understanding glances. They realized that they had different personalities and views, but they still respected and supported each other. They were complementary friends.

Lily and Cindy hugged each other and laughed. They then switched to another topic and chatted happily. They talked about work, gossip, food, and other interesting things. They also gave each other advice, motivation, and constructive criticism. They enjoyed their time together as friends, like a girls' night.

Lily and Cindy continued to chat until midnight. They felt tired and sleepy, but they didn't want to stop. They felt that there were many things they wanted to talk about. They felt that they never got bored with each other.

"Yawn.... I'm sleepy. Let's sleep now," Lily said, feeling tired from chatting the whole night.

Cindy rubbed her eyes, feeling the same. "Yawn... yes. Can I sleep next to you?" Cindy asked.

"Yes," Lily replied.

Finally, Lily and Cindy decided to stop chatting and go to sleep. They lay down on Lily's bed and closed their eyes.

"Goodnight, Cindy," Lily said.

"Zzzz"

But there was no response from Cindy. Cindy had already fallen asleep.

"Typical Cindy," Lily said, looking like she understood Cindy's nature. "Well then, goodnight to myself." Lily wished herself goodnight and then fell asleep comfortably.
