Chapter 2: Moving in sucks

When Kyle went home from school he saw a piece of paper on the table and it was from his mom, instructing him to eat the cereals and she will come home late.

Kyle got a call from his brother and they talked for a while.

Kyle was just explaining what happened in school and his brothers advice was for him to show Bryan who is boss.

After eating he walked around the neighborhood just to get familiar with the place and came across some teens playing basketball.

He quickly walked towards that arena and just stood there watching them play.

A certain boy named David walked towards him.

David: Hey watcha starring at ?

Kyle: uuuhm, just watching you guys play.

David: Are you new here., never seen this face before.

Kyle: yes I am new.

David: Hey guys we have a new hommie in the neighborhood.

And all the players walked towards Kyle automatically stopping the game.

With various questions popping from everywhere, Kyle felt intimidated.

He just suddenly walked away and went home.

It was already late and his mom hasn't returned and kyle was now becoming impatient. The fact that she wasn't picking his calls even made everything worse.

Kyle sat at the couch and waited for his mom and eventually slept off.

At 5am in the Morning his mom walked in and saw him laying there on the couch. She woke him up and told him to go to his room.

Kyle who was barley awake tried his best to walk slowly to his room and lay on his bed.

Around 7am Kyle finally woke up and walked to his moms room.

Knocking the door several times and she opened.

Kyle: mom you said you would Come home late, you didn't say you will come home the next day.

Kyle' mom: I am very sorry baby, things didn't go as plan.

Kyle: so where did you go to last night?

Kyle's mom: that is not important right now.

Kyle : mom I was worried about you, at least if you will be coming home late simply say so.

Kyle's mom: just go get ready for school son.

Kyle: mom! I insist you tell me

Kyle's mom: I said go get ready for school you have no right to question my errands.

Kyle: but mom...

Kyle's mom : Just leave!

Kyle seeing his mom getting upset quickly left to prepare for school.

After preparation he went and met his mom in the car and she drove him to school.

Both parties were silent throughout the journey.

Kyle got to his first period on time and sat there looking at the teacher.

When Kyle looked around he observed Bryan was also taking this same class.

He tried as much as possible not to get eye contact with him.

After the class Kyle went to the field to meet coach Mike.

Kyle: sir, I think I want to start training.

Coach mike: OK but you said you have an injured ankle.

Kyle: that is what I say every time to get people off my back.

Coach mike: OK after your second period you can come during lunch time.

Kyle: OK sir I will do just that.

Kyle walked back into the school and went to his locker to get his books.

On his way there he met Trevor.

Kyle: hi

Trevor: hey, how are you doing

Kyle: Good, I have searched everywhere for you, thanks for yesterday.

Trevor: about that, the results are out and I guess thats your next class as well, let's just go together.

Both of them walked to the class minutes later.

Miss Lizzy was already distributing the test results to the students and making various statements about their performance.

"you play too much", "I think you need a personal tutor",etc

She went back to sit down,then Trevor and Kyle went to her.

Miss Lizzy : yes Trevor, you did great excellent performance.(giving him his script)

Trevor: thank you

She looked at Kyle for few minutes without saying a word and slowly passed his script to him.

Kyle passed the test with a good score too but he wasn't surprised because he knew what he did.

After the class miss Lizzy told him to wait and this scared Kyle a lot.

Kyle just sat there quietly when miss Lizzy came to meet him, she brought a chair and sat close to him.

Miss Lizzy: so why did you cheat?

Kyle : what?

Miss lizzy : no no Mr, you don't get to act dumb, why did you cheat?

Kyle: uuuh,..... I... I..

Miss Lizzy: do you want detention

Kyle: No, I don't want that.

Miss Lizzy :so why did you do it.

Kyle: I really had no choice, all my life things have not been ok for me and by the time things are trying to get better we move to a new place.

Miss Lizzy: your punishment to cheating is joining the school quiz team.

Kyle: you must be joking, I don't know a thing.

Miss Lizzy: yes, that is why you will study to meet up with them.

Miss Lizzy left the arena and some students walked in.

It was the quiz students, they were all happy to welcome a new member.

He just sat there in the class doing nothing.He didn't answer any questions and just observed everything.Trevor was also in the quiz group and he was obviously the smartest.

After much struggles Kyle managed to leave the class and went to the field but training was already over.

Kyle then went to the school cafeteria to just sit down.

Minutes later he saw Bryan and his friends walking towards his direction.

He was about walking away when one of Bryan's friends ran and held him back.

Bryan :hey wats the hush.

Kyle: I don't want any troubles.

Bryan: No you dont get to talk.

Kyle: please can I just leave.

Bryan : I am not here for a fight as well, I want to make a proposal.

Kyle: And what is that?

Bryan:I want you to join us so we can protect you, and don't worry we are not a gang, we are just friends looking out for each other.

Kyle: hard pass, the only thing I need protecting from is you, so why will I join you.

Bryan really got mad and hit Kyle on the face. Then left with his squad.

Kyle had a little cut at the side of his lips then he went to the bathroom to clean it up.

Kyle was really in a hurry getting into the bathroom and he didn't realize he got into the ladies bathroom.

He rushed in grabbed a tissue and started cleaning the blood, after that he washed his hands.

Looking at the mirror he saw about 20 or more girls looking at him, at first they were silent but the moment he turned to look at them, we could hear various screams.

Most of them were naked, while the others took videos of Kyle.

The girls chased Kyle out of the

bathroom, and reported him to the principal.

The videos where later posted, and lots of negative comments filled each posts.

Kyle was called by the principal so he sat at the entrance waiting for his punishment.

Few minutes later, he saw a young girl and a woman coming out of the principal's office.

He couldn't stop starring at her, he just sat there gazing till he heard the principal screaming his name.

Kyle quickly rushed into the office.

Principal Fred: young man can you take a look at my desk.

Kyle: uuuh yes sir

Principal fred: what do you see?

Kyle: I see documents, pen, uuuuh...

Principal fred: Exactly, that what you see, documents, complains, students failures, not even a single trophy.

Principal fred then walked close to the window and starred outside.

Principal fred: I dream of a table of trophies and awards but this school is the direct opposite.

We have not even made it close to winning a single trophy. All I get is bullies, assault, racial abuse and so many more.

Do me a favour young man, don't be a problem to me.

Kyle : sir, that now what happe...

Principal fred : I said don't be a problem to me. You can leave now.

Kyle stood up and left the office, he wondered why principal Fred didn't bother to hear his own side of the story.

Principal fred is a man on his 50's with Grey hair all over his side and chin.He has been the principal for two years, the other principal's before him left with same complains about the students.

Kyle went home and as usual saw a paper on the table, this time he didnt read it, he just went and got something to eat. Then sat and waited for his mom so he could explain things to her.

He got a call from his brother and apparently his brother has seen the video.

He was so mad at Kyle, but after Kyle explained stuffs to him, he got even more upset.

Kyle made him promise not to show his dad or tell his mom.

Its already dark and it's 10.00, Kyle's mom isn't still home.

He went to his room and sat on his bed till eventually slept off.
