Chapter 14

| Third Person's POV |

| Tuesday Morning |

We see Stiles running around School handing flyers of a missing person with Scott's picture. He also sticks them on the announcement boards around the school. He even goes to ask Allison if she heard from Scott since Monday morning. But she didn't and says that was the last time she saw or heard from him and asks him what happened worried seeing Stile's look. He tells them That Scott was missing since last night and he hasn't answered or replied to his phone. Allison and her friends ask him with different levels of concern about what happened and Nates puts on an act about not knowing anything. He tells them the story he made up about they went to see the crime scene last night at school and how he went to get a flashlight from his car when the guard catch him so he took off and when he returned Scott wasn't there anymore and would not pick up his phone.

The school continues normally with the police still searching for Scott. In the meantime, Scott's mom Mellissa, Stiles, and his dad Noah were going out of their freaking mind by the hour. Nate after confirming today's plan was still going to happen goes home and prepares to go and look for Derek and see if he is the alpha or knows who is it.

He drives through the preserve towards the Hale house, he sees a car already parked in front of the house so he parks 100 meters away from there. He takes his handgun loaded with wolfsbane bullets and has 2 combat knifes coated with wolfsbane, one on his bottom right leg and the other behind his back. He gets out of the car and starts walking slowly toward the house while constantly checking on his surroundings. He stops not far away from his car and begins talking to Derek as if he was in front of him.

"Hello Derek, Scott told me I could find you here. I am here looking into the alpha killing the people maybe you can help me since he killed your sister. You get your revenge and I get to stop the killings what do think? And here to see I am sincere about it." Nate throws the gun behind him close to his car and waits for a few minutes but no answer. He sighs at least he tried would be great to have an extra muscle he could use but no such luck so plan B it is. He starts backing toward his car.

"I guess he doesn't care that much" he mutters while he walks. He hears a wait from behind and turns around to see Derek coming out of the house.

"Hello there"

"Where is Scott?"

"I can tell you that he is still alive...for now at least"

"What have you done with him"

"Nothing really, some interrogation and now he is somewhere knocked out. I didn't have to use torture I showed him a knife and he caved pretty much instantly and start telling me everything he knew with wasn't much anyway. But let me tell you he doesn't like you very much saying he was the one who killed the bus driver and also your sister."

Derek frowns at him for what he did to Scott and also at Scott for still not trusting him after saving, helping, and trying to protect him.

"Why should I trust you exactly? How do I know you won't go to Argents and sell me out."

"You don't because the moment I hear you are to kill or killed someone innocent I'm coming for you too. Of course, if you think you can take the alpha alone you are welcome to try, I just think our chances are better if we work together that's all. Besides, the Argents don't know about me and I would like it to stay that way."

"What about Scott then?"

"Well, you see Scott is the main part of the plan as he was turned by the Alpha, he has a connection with him so we will use that to set up a trap. From what Scott has told me about him is that he seems feral so let's see exactly how feral he is."

Derek thinks for a few minutes about the plan and what to do or if he should trust this hunter or not. In the end, he agrees, he couldn't do much any way he had Scott who was the one link to alpha unless he bit another one. So, this was pretty much the only way to get the alpha and if it didn't work out, he could save Scott, and maybe this time he would learn to at least listen to him.

"Okay"

"Okay cool, here" Nate throws his phone at him

"Add your number so I can call you when am ready to start the plan" Derek adds his number to the phone and throws it back at him.

With a see you later Nate gets in his car and drives off while Derek stands and watches him still with a frown on his face wondering if this was a good idea at all and gets back to what he was doing with was drowning in misery and self-loathing.

Stiles out of options takes his chance with Derek it is around 6 p.m. he goes to the Hale house and starts shouting for Derek to come out, how Scott was missing, and how he had to help find him. Derek fed up with him comes out to scare him and make him leave but Stiles doesn't and starts.

"You have to help, okay? you have to. You were the one to tell him to go back to the bus and then he just disappeared. Ergo, your fault so you have to help." Derek just replies with a 'go home and leave me alone'. Seeing that wasn't working very well he takes a different approach.

"Please Derek, please he is my best friend he is like a brother I don't know what I'll do if I lost him so if you know anything at all tell me. You don't have to do anything just tell me if you know anything please"

Derek seeing that he couldn't get rid of him tells him that Scott was alive for the moment and that could change in the future. Stiles bombards him with questions of how did he know, where was Scott, if he knew why he didn't save him, and more similar questions. Annoyed Derek closes the distance in an instant and grabs him by the throat and tells him to shut up before he reaps it out. With Stiles scared and silent, Derek answers him that Scott was captured by hunters. Stiles asks if it was the Argents but Derek throws him toward his jeep. Stiles tries once again but Derek wolfs out and roars at him to leave. After that Stiles scrambles towards his car and drives away scared shitless.
